Bohemia, NY – AMAC’s Medicare Advisory Service will host a free educational webinar designed to help Medicare beneficiaries better understand two of the most popular Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans.
The webinar, “Plan G vs. Plan N: Learn the Difference & Discover Savings,” will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (US & Canada) and will be presented by Carl F. Hohsfield Jr., Executive Vice President of AMAC Senior Resources Network.
Choosing the right Medicare Supplement plan can significantly impact both coverage and out-of-pocket healthcare costs. During this informative session, attendees will gain practical insights into how Plan G and Plan N differ and how certain features, such as excess charges, copays, and deductibles, can affect what beneficiaries ultimately pay for care.
“Many people approaching Medicare are surprised by how small differences between plans can affect their overall healthcare expenses,” said Carl F. Hohsfield Jr., Executive Vice President of AMAC Senior Resources Network. “This webinar is designed to help individuals better understand their options so they can make confident, informed decisions about their Medicare Supplement coverage.”
During the webinar, attendees will learn about:
- The key differences between Medicare Supplement Plan G and Plan N
- Important concepts such as Medicare excess charges, copays, and deductibles
- Real-world examples illustrating what beneficiaries may pay for common services and procedures, including hip replacement surgery
- How high-deductible Medigap plans, including High-Deductible Plan G, work and current example rates
This webinar is ideal for Medicare beneficiaries, individuals approaching Medicare eligibility, and anyone exploring Medicare Supplement options who wants clearer guidance on choosing the right coverage.
The session will be led by Carl F. Hohsfield Jr., Executive Vice President of AMAC Senior Resources Network, where he oversees the development of member benefits with a strong focus on health insurance and Medicare-related products. This couldn’t come at a better time for me. I’m thinking about changing plans and wanted to see if either of these could save me anything on my premium. Thanks for the help.
