Democrat politicians and the corporate media have spent the last decade demonizing President Donald Trump as a “fascist” and “literally Hitler” while branding his America First agenda – and every one of his supporters – as racist, sexist, bigoted, and a “threat to democracy.” That effort has now borne the poisonous fruit of an increasingly radical base that even the liberal establishment that created it appears terrified of.
According to a new report this week from Axios, “Democratic members of Congress are facing a growing thrum of demands to break the rules, fight dirty – and not be afraid to get hurt.” This “growing anger” has reportedly “morphed into a disregard for American institutions, political traditions, and even the rule of law.”
Specifically, one House Democrat said, that some voters have suggested “what we really need to do is be willing to get shot” when visiting ICE facilities or federal agencies. “Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,” the lawmaker said.
Another House Democrat told Axios that their “constituents have told them ‘civility isn’t working’ and to prepare for ‘violence… to fight to protect our democracy.’”
Yet another House Democrat said that “people online have sent me crazy s*** … told me to storm the White House and stuff like that.”
Elected Democrats have appeared both discouraged and terrified before the mob of their own supporters demanding what appears to be pure disregard for the rule of law in service of the left-wing crusade to “get Trump.” Many are frustrated that “their base’s demands to ‘fight harder’ misunderstand the lack of legislative and investigative power afforded to the minority party in Congress.”
This report further highlights what should be a growing concern for political leaders on both sides of the aisle – namely, a burgeoning violence problem among the Democrat base.
The very same day as the Axios report dropped, a man armed with tactical gear and a rifle attempted to ambush border patrol agents and local police officers as they arrived at a CBP facility in McAllen, Texas. Thankfully, all the law enforcement officials involved in the incident survived, while the shooter was killed. But it was nonetheless a chilling reminder of the target that Democrats have placed on the backs of law enforcement agents by repeatedly likening Trump’s deportation agenda to the holocaust and referring to ICE agents as “secret police” and the “modern-day Gestapo.”
This isn’t the first time ICE agents have faced such a threat, either. As AMAC Newsline reported last month, the Department of Homeland Security has seen a 413 percent increase in assaults against immigration agents. In February, anti-ICE activists in Southern California distributed flyers with photos and personal details of ICE personnel – a clear invitation for violence against them.
The country is also just under one year removed from when a would-be assassin’s bullet came within millimeters of killing Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania – an attack that also tragically killed 50-year-old volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore and left two others critically injured.
Just 64 days later, the Secret Service thwarted yet another assassination attempt against Trump while he was golfing in Florida.
All of these incidents are part of a disturbing and growing trend of political violence on the left. Whether it was attacks on churches in the wake of the Dobbs Supreme Court ruling on abortion or firebombing Tesla dealerships in response to Department of Government Efficiency cuts, the left’s response to any political outcome it doesn’t like has increasingly become physical violence.
This is the inevitable end game of progressive politics when “resistance” is framed as the ultimate virtue. For years, Democrat leaders and their media echo chamber insisted that Trump was a “wannabe dictator.” They have told people day after day that the republic will perish unless they “fight like hell.” The liberal establishment should not now feign shock when some people take that literally.
The party’s own incentive structure rewards this hysteria. Politicians chase viral clips, influencers chase clicks, and both bankroll their campaigns off apocalyptic emails warning that “the GOP is coming for your family.” The louder and more lurid the charge, the bigger the haul.
In this environment, moderation is tantamount to career suicide. As a result, accusations escalate, norms erode, and a fringe audience hears that ballots are no longer enough – blood is required.
Now Democrats confront the monster they animated. Having taught their base that compromise equals capitulation and dialogue equals danger, they discovered that reasoned persuasion no longer works because they methodically dismantled its credibility.
The tragedy is that political violence never stays quarantined. Once unleashed, it scorches everything in its path, whether it be ICE agents, churches, factories, or even a presidential candidate. If Democrats truly care about “saving democracy,” they must start by recovering a basic civic grammar – one that distinguishes opponents from enemies, and elections from existential wars. Until then, the fuse they lit will keep burning, and America will keep praying the next explosion misses its target.

Some representatives who supposedly took an oath to serve have misled or blatantly lied to the American people. They are never held accountable and remain a disgrace to the office they hold. Inciting violence by political pundits/officials appears to have no consequence.
There is a good army facing off against leftist violence. I’m a Christian prayer warrior, and there are millions of us battling everyday against their anarchy, mayhem, murder, and assassination attempts. Understand the miracles of that bullet missing President Trump by millimeters and the shooter at the Texas ICE facility getting shot while no agents were injured. The Kingdom of heaven is battling against their dark earthly attempts to steal power, in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
We all grapple with why, then, innocent kids were swept away by a river in flood. There’s no simple answer, and I’m asking the Lord to wrap His arms around the grieving, but I do know this: the Lord Jesus conquered death when He rose from the grave, and those kids and camp counselors went straight into His arms in heaven. What happens on this fallen Earth isn’t the end for us.
So, we who are called to be prayer watchmen are in place, doing our jobs, using the weapons the Lord has given us–faith, Scripture promises, and the power of understanding that, by the blood He shed, we have His authority to command demonic forces behind these dark acts to flee. Stand firm, Americans.

Despite endless claims to the contrary, it has been very rare, historically, for the political Left in any nation to have majority popular or voter support. They always claim otherwise, but they are lying. Leftist policies and programs and goals rarely achieve majority support because they are almost always anti-freedom, and authoritarian, and economically bad for most citizens. So when they cannot attain power and control through legitimate processes (like elections), the political Left first threatens violence, and when that doesn’t work, they begin to engage in actual violence, gradually ramping it up from relatively small actions to full-scale rioting and terror. The Left thrives on chaos and violence as that allows them to seize power they could not attain legitimately. The history books are full of examples. What is happening in our streets now has nothing to do with the so-called ’causes’ the paid for rioters and the useful idiots assisting them claim they represent; rather, it’s all about causing chaos and fear and working toward a full-scale revolution. Don’t believe me if you don’t want to, but that is what’s going on.
Bottom line: You can no longer be a democrat and still be an American. Progressives [Used to be called Democrats] have no regard or respect for law and order in our society. Their answer to everything s violence, no matter whether it be in the streets or in our political chambers. Well, be thankful that in the past the Dems were for gun control, and worked to ban guns. That means far fewer firearms in their possession, less gun/fighting knowledge, far fewer veterans in their ranks. To our advantage, most of the people I know who think like me are armed. Most conservatives have guns, and if you don’t, it’s time to change that. Let a few riots take random fire into the crowd and see how much they want riot and burn. Learn deadly force laws in your state, so you know when you can use deadly force to protect yourself, and don’t go to jail. The people in 2020 who went outside their house with an AR15, their house was left alone, BS law enforcement went after them later, but they were cleared. In TX, they would have never been bothered by LE if they didn’t fire. But we have to be ready, and willing to fight back. The cops can’t always get there in time.
