President Trump, Governor Mills, and Tree Rot

Mr. President, thank you again. You have restored truth in America, including the obvious truth of two sexes, men and women – biologically, legally, and biblically. You succinctly put our Maine governor in her place, a foppish Democrat so sure of herself she sees no need for God or biology.

The rot in some trees is hard to see until they fall. Her recent rudeness at the White House, before you and other governors, reaffirms to many of us that she is as blind to her place, rank, and how she represents us as she is to 50 years of Title IX law.

The bigger point is that, while big people apologize when truth hits them broadside, small people do not.  She never has, and likely never will. You have helped many to see her character, or rather lack of it.

This may seem a small thing in the big world, just one small shaft of light hitting a dark corner, illuminating it, helping others to see what lay hidden there, but I think what you did is bigger.

Mainers now see, some who did not before, that the leftwing Democrat Party in Maine – and other blue states – is morally, mentally, and fundamentally bankrupt. They are out of touch with average people, stiff-arming reality, and – to quote another president – “destined for the ash heap of history.”

In Maine, 90 percent of us understand that boys do not belong in girls’ sports, locker rooms, and bathrooms, impairing their scholarships and invading their privacy, dignity, or safety. Not to see that is just arrogance.

So, as we look forward to 2026 and well beyond, thinking on the great Norman Rockwell traditions of Maine, lobstering, farming, logging, working in the woods, with our hands, hearts, and for family, state, and nation, you have highlighted this governor’s utter failure – and her party’s utter failure – to lead.

On behalf of Mainers who know truth from fiction, who love their sons and daughters, as I do mine, who see the future as about stepping up, speaking up, and not allowing those who push untruth to prevail, thank you again. You have been, whether you know it or not, a source of strength and inspiration.

While Maine’s Democrat governor will not apologize – to anyone – for her impertinence, arrogance, and embarrassing self-importance, most Mainers are not that way. More now see her … as she is.

In closing, we Mainers are, by and large, a likable lot. We thank you for plain talk, standing in our corner, for our daughters, and for the hard-working, grateful men and women of Maine. The rot in some trees is hard to see until they fall.

Robert Charles is a former Assistant Secretary of State under Colin Powell, former Reagan and Bush 41 White House staffer, attorney, and naval intelligence officer (USNR). He wrote “Narcotics and Terrorism” (2003), “Eagles and Evergreens” (2018), and is National Spokesman for AMAC. Robert Charles has also just released an uplifting new book, “Cherish America: Stories of Courage, Character, and Kindness” (Tower Publishing, 2024).

RBC, I pray that the people in your state wake up to see how bad the Democratic ruling class has made your state and vote them out of office.

RBC, may those of us who understand what your state has been going through, remain steadfast in your support to rid the “ROT” out of your state government. We are on the frontlines with you and the rest of the state of Maine for revitalization.

Wakeup Mainers—Janet Mills is a Marxist Democrat loser. She is also uglier than a lobster.

This just solidified the truth of the Democratic party. It has turned into a evil, sinister party. They get there money from the likes of George Soros, and other elites that they accuse the Republicans of. In Wisconsin, there was a leftist judge voted in for the Supreme Court. She got money from Soros, Minn Gov. Waltz and Illinois Gov. Pritzker. All dark money. We have more elections coming, and hope the GOP gains more influence.

RBC, I really hope for your sake and the rest of the citizens in Maine that the Democrats voters there are a lot smarter than they are here in Illinois. Men competing against women in sports is the least of our problems: high taxes, high unemployment, high crime, mass outward migration, businesses closing, etc., etc., and still the brain-dead Democrat voters keep the corrupt politicians in power.

I am not from Maine, but from Illinois and I must echo the words of “Lesson 1”. Can’t believe people can actually vote for these anti American candidates.
Just for fun – a definition of woke you might like. Woke is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and promoted by a mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a piece of poop by the clean end.

As a conservative in the republic of California, I feel for the people of Maine. Our looney tunes tunes Governor Has (with the help of other left wing radicals) all but destroyed our beautiful state. From the lack of water to fight the fires (which occur every year) to some of the highest taxes in the country. I have been here all my life, and am seriously considering an exodus to a friendlier state.

Robert Charles and Tucker Carlson have shown the world that character is individual. There are fine people in Maine.

The same way she became the Governor she can unbecome one, unless people want to speed up the process and demand her resignation.

The entire Northeast is now under Communist control. I am not sure there is any chance of saving it.
