Since the “African American Museum” was listed, please tell me where I can go see the “European American Museum?”
Evidently there are no museums worth visiting in the Midwest (or the now-liberal West Coast). Perhaps the “10 museums worth visiting” could have included a few from the “fly-over” states. I’m delighted that the National Medal of Honor Museum, Arlington, Texas made the cut, I went to high school with a guy who actually went to Canada to avoid the draft, then returned, enlisted and won the MofH. Met another winner when we were both stationed at Fort Hood (screw the name change), Texas. Recently, when responding to a woman who asked what her demanding, living-at-home 22 year old needed and I suggested he enlist in the military, I was disappointed and dismayed at the negative responses (probably by mostly feather merchants) about the military that were posted..including one who said, “But aren’t most ex-military people homeless? That’s all you see in the media”.
