A word about pecans:

Pecans are prized nuts used in recipes like the one above. This favorite nut tastes mild and delicious – and chefs love the versatility of this great ingredient! Pecans contains rich nutrients that are beneficial for health. Per Healthline, pecans contain healthy fat, fiber, polyphenols, vitamin B1 (thiamine), manganese, and zinc. Zinc plays a vital role in immune function, wound healing, DNAsynthesis, and growth and development and may promote heart health. Hence, pecans are great for snacking, for using in salad recipes, and for adding to desserts such as cakes and pies.

Consult your doctor before trying new foods. Note that allergic reactions to pecans are possible for people with tree nut allergies.
