WASHINGTON DC, Aug 23 — FOX News Contributor Tammy Bruce is an Independent Conservative.  According to her Fox News bio, she was a lifelong Democrat activist until 2008.  She “now works to make sure her experience as a liberal community organizer is used to expose and help defeat the leftist agenda.”   Her newest book, Fear Itself: Exposing the Left’s Mind-Killing Agenda, offers “insights into how fear is manipulated to control populations and what steps individuals can take to push back.”

Tammy also writes a weekly column focused on politics and culture for the Association of Mature American Citizens.  She recently joined Rebecca Weber, AMAC’s CEO, on Weber’s Better For America podcast and warned that the left is promoting what she called the “pronoun dynamic.”

“It’s a political act,” she said, “and Americans have got to reject it.  It’s cynical and it’s malicious.  What they’re doing to us is like boiling a frog and you very slowly turn up the heat and the frog doesn’t know that it’s being cooked.  And the heat gets turned up more and more and more.  And by the time you realize it, it’s too late.  It’s what the left is doing to Western culture, what the left is doing to people of faith, to American culture.  Your values are not political.  Your values are about life and about culture.  What they want is to make it political.  It happens over a long period of time and the heat gets turned up more and more and by the time you realize it, it’s too late.  And that’s what the left is doing to Western culture.  That’s what the left is doing to people of faith.  It’s what the left is doing to American culture by slowly but surely turning up the heat.”

Tammy’s newest book looks at the political use of fear to control society.  For example, she cited the COVID years.  “As we look back, we see how cynical and awful it was that we were put through the outbreak when Dr. Fauci, earlier this year, admitted that when asked about the stay six feet apart rule, he said, ‘Oh, I don’t know where that came from, it just sort of appeared.’  Yet we were told it was science.  The same with masks, which Fauci admitted really work on the margins in the population, maybe 10 percent of the time.  So these things that were presented to us by experts and those who knew best were really just kind of made up.  And then there were the isolation rules that you had to go visit a family member through a window if they were in a hospital or family members dying alone, you couldn’t even bury them.  We can’t forget the nature of the obscenity of what we were put through.  It’s almost as though it was their best chance to really implement the experiment of seeing how much of society you could control by frightening them like tyrants did thousands of years ago to control populations.”

She went on to point out that “global warming is another example of a kind of anonymous boogeyman that keeps changing and makes you afraid even to exist and now our breathing is the problem.  And it allows what fear does, to alert us to a situation where we use our logical mind and our reason to make decisions.   What the left does is make it chronic, to promote fear, which leads to mass anxiety, which allows government to control us even more because we tend to retreat.  We say, Oh, well, they know best.  I’ll let them take care of that.  And we suddenly become pliable.  And so I go into the psychological effects of chronic fear, the benefits of transitory fear, and what the results are and what we’ve seen with media, with education, with crime, with global warming, and the environment we all care about.  That’s another living thing that we are the stewards of, but it’s been weaponized against us.  And, as a result, there are no solutions.  Because the goal is not to solve these problems.  The goal is to use them to make us pliable so they can control us. And the left and the system itself will double down through the election and even beyond because they saw it work during COVID.  And I want my book to suggest what we can do to overcome it.  I have advice in the book in that regard because it’s really a house of cards and they don’t want you to notice, but this book is the beginning of taking control back.”

Fear Is the best way to control a society who believes everything they’re being told. If by some chance they realize they’ve been duped, it’s already too late.
