Calls-to-Action

Tell New Jersey State Senators NO to Graphic Books in School Libraries

The New Jersey Senate Education Committee will soon be voting on S.2421, the Freedom to Read Act, sponsored by Senators Zwicker and Ruiz. This bill puts parental rights on the sidelines and allows inappropriate graphic books in our children’s school libraries.

Stop Ranked Choice Voting in Colorado

A wealthy Denver, Colorado billionaire just released petitions for a ballot initiative, #310, which would allegedly “modernize” Colorado’s election processes. It would create an all-new, all-candidates, all-party primary election, allowing all voters to vote for any candidate for each office, regardless of the voters’ or candidates’ political party affiliation. Voters will also be subjected to a complex and confusing voting process called Ranked Choice Voting in the General election. Three grass-roots citizen ballot initiatives, called “The Good Initiatives,” have been crafted to counter these threats to Colorado’s elections. Help is needed for Coloradans to not only sign petitions to ensure these initiatives appear on the ballot in November in Colorado but to also to circulate the petitions because signatures are required from voters in every Colorado Senate District. If you live in Colorado, click here to learn more and to sign the petitions!

Tell the NC Senate Rules Committee to Support Election Integrity

Two critical election integrity bills, SB 630 and HB 770, are currently awaiting action in the state Senate Rules Committee. SB 630 will prevent non-citizens from voting in North Carolina’s elections, while HB 770 will enable audits of future NC elections as necessary. These bills are essential for protecting our democratic process and the upcoming 2024 elections. If you live in North Carolina, we need your help now to urge the committee members to bring them forward for a vote.

Stop Non-Citizens from Voting in America’s Elections!

The Biden Administration has allowed millions of people to enter the United States illegally and given them a pathway to vote in our elections. This orchestrated effort by the Biden Administration to corrupt our elections and install Democrats as a uniparty must be stopped. Please contact your Congressman or woman today and compel them to stop non-citizens from voting in America’s elections.

Meetings

June 18 Chapter Meeting

AZ-08 Delegate Nikki Colletti hosted the chapter meeting for AMAC members from AZ-01, AZ-08, and AZ-09. Attendees viewed the film “Letter to the American Church,” which draws parallels between early 1930’s Nazi Germany and other totalitarian regimes, with what is happening in America today. The film is a wake-up call to recognize the evil we face today in America.

June 18 Chapter Meeting

KS-04 Delegate Barb Schwerman hosted and Wichita City Councilman Michael Hoseisel (District 3) spoke on public safety issues, council meeting outcomes, and other updates for the city of Wichita.

June 20 Chapter Meeting

AK-AL Delegate Robert Coulter hosted the chapter meeting. Speakers Richard Stoffel and Karen Ciocchi discussed vote counting procedures in Anchorage and Matsu, and what issues citizens should know and pursue.

Quote of the Week

“It seems to have been reserved to the people of this country, by their conduct and example, to decide the important question, whether societies of men are really capable or not of establishing good government from reflection and choice, or whether they are forever destined to depend for their political constitutions on accident and force.”

 —Alexander Hamilton, 1787

In the meantime the Social Security Act of 2024 chipped away at Social Security benefits without a fight from AMAC, AARP or any of the other organizations that defend Social Security benefits important to Senior citizens. For those of us who planned our retirement this act was a major blow that came out of nowhere to reduce benefits that had been to help the surviving widow after the death of their spouse for decades. Since this was allowed to occur without any resistance what’s next? Why did those dedicated to protecting us do nothing to stop this from happening?
