AMAC Exclusive – By Seamus Brennan

Republicans

Last week, Republican Governors Greg Abbott of Texas and Ron DeSantis of Florida finally forced elected Democrats and the mainstream media to face the consequences of the rapidly worsening crisis at the southern border by dropping off illegal migrants literally right on the doorstep of Vice President Kamala Harris (Biden’s “border czar”) and the homes of Democratic elites in Martha’s Vineyard. For months, the left has largely ignored the disastrous consequences of liberal border policies, while Republicans have had only mixed success at forcing Democrats to answer for their failures. Now, as momentum on illegal immigration turns in Republicans’ favor and voters are tuned into the issue, the GOP needs concrete solutions and specific policy measures to message to voters about how Republicans will halt the unprecedented influx of illegal aliens.

With the midterm campaign season in full swing, one would be hard-pressed to find a Republican stump speech, political advertisement, or online campaign platform without at least some reference to the crisis along the U.S.-Mexico border. Candidates’ campaign websites, for instance, are often littered with promises of “securing our borders,” “enforc[ing] our laws,” and finding “a real solution” to the border crisis. But what these promises often lack are details about how candidates aim to follow through once elected.

For most Americans, the unprecedented nature of the illegal immigration crisis in 2021 and 2022 is more than enough to warrant a serious policy response. In 2021 alone, U.S. Border Patrol encountered nearly two million illegal aliens—the most in recorded history (and that only includes those who were apprehended by border officials). Between April and August of last year, illegal border encounters rose by 945 percent, 674 percent, 471 percent, 413 percent, and 319 percent, respectively, compared to the same months in 2020.

Under Biden, arrests of illegal alien drug smugglers also increased by 453 percent, while arrests of illegal alien sex offenders rose 212 percent. Perhaps most alarmingly of all, with Biden in office, Border Patrol arrests of illegal alien murderers skyrocketed more than 1,900 percent. While that may sound like good news, it means that many more such offenders likely escaped undetected and that the victims of those who were caught still had to suffer the consequences of their crimes.

As of last month, the number of illegal immigrants apprehended along the border has already surpassed last year’s figure—and is on track to reach two million in a matter of weeks.

But the Biden border catastrophe does not end there: in the months since Biden took office, unprecedented amounts of lethal drugs—including fentanyl and methamphetamine—have been detected by Border Patrol. 11,000 pounds of fentanyl, for instance, were seized in fiscal year 2021, which is more than double the amount detected the previous year. Moreover, Biden’s policies have prompted the largest number of unaccompanied minors crossing the southern border in history, many of whom are under the control of human traffickers, child smugglers, and violent gangs.

These sobering statistics should mean that self-described conservative candidates make addressing the border crisis a top issue for their campaign and have specific policy prescriptions ready to implement on day one if they are elected. To be sure, some Republicans have offered a handful of concrete solutions to combat the surge of illegal immigrants—including completing construction of the border wall, reinstating Trump-era immigration policies like “Remain in Mexico,” more vigorously deporting illegal border crossers, and asylum reform. But even those candidates who do offer specific policies generally fail to do so with the sense of urgency and resolve the American people deserve.

Republican congressional candidates should, for instance, make clear if they are willing to shut down the U.S. government and hold the federal budget hostage until concrete border security measures are included. Come 2023, Republicans in Congress should also be prepared to block any component of the Biden legislative agenda from passing without first forcing the White House to address the border catastrophe. Unfortunately for many voters, the answers to these questions—and others like them—remain unknown.

In late August, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre made headlines for seeming to deny the existence of the border crisis, telling a reporter that, in her words, “It’s not like someone walks over [the border].” Vice President Kamala Harris has similarly claimed that “the border is secure,” despite never actually having been there herself. But although most Republicans are aware that a crisis does, in fact, exist, there are far too many Republicans whose tone differs little from that of Jean-Pierre’s head-in-the-clouds denialism—other than the occasional buzzword or brief acknowledgment that something must be done. It is solutions, not perpetual slogans or even transporting migrants to liberal enclaves, that will ultimately prove Republicans are serious about securing the border and restoring American sovereignty.

Public survey data shows that voters are eager for just such a message. A recent NPR poll found that the majority of Americans believe there is an “invasion” occurring along the southern border. As such, as long Republicans continue to avoid presenting substantive plans to the American people, there is no reason to believe their constituents will reward them at the polls this fall. Republicans should not be timid. Despite what the mainstream media might lead conservatives to believe, American voters are on their side.

If the GOP is serious about its intention to take back control of both chambers of Congress this November, it should start offering a bold, concrete, and achievable vision to its voters—and soon.

one permanent solution the GOP can implement is to make letting illegals in BACKFIRE on the Democrats, by getting into the illegals’ hands GOP campaign literature showing why even THEY should vote Republican. The nanosecond illegal immigration stops benefitting the Democrats politically, they’ll do a 180° and turn against it on a dime!

I don’t think we can count on the Republicans already in office. Maybe the newly elected ones will provide a solution like Bring ICE back, let them do their job finding and deporting the invaders, even the ones awaiting trial. Finish the wall and just deport them all, including the cartel. Let them all face justice in their own countries which would be swifter than in ours for sure.

There are millions that don’t believe the Border is being invaded. Like a Sister saying “I don’t watch FOX news”, so what do you watch to see what is really going on???
The Democrats answer is “Comprehensive Immigration reform”, which is AMNESTY for all of them here, then those that get an Amnesty lobby Congress to let them bring in the ENTIRE rest of their families. My small town in the North has thousands of illegals, 22.9% actually, and 33% or more of our School is Hispanic. See a picture here??? Your Forefathers that built this country are being replaced by Millions of illegal aliens and their American born Children.

They are all still lying about the numbers. The numbers are at just under five million and they are saying 4.2 which is WAY off. There are 88 terrorists within our country now, who have just walked in, and they are very aware of this as well. They haven’t kept track of where they went and this government DOES NOT CARE. The lying media doesn’t cover this and I want to know why not?

Still not sure the Rs really want to inherit the mess the dems have made. We’ll see. In ohio we have an interesting senate race. A far left loon, tim ryan, is trying to masquerade as a trump supporting moderate in order to fool dem dupes statewide that they needn’t fear him. The polls seem to say the dupes are buying it. Incredible. If you’re in ohio and feeling dejected, disinterested or apathetic please get over it in time to register and vote for vance.

Our Southern Border is a total catastrophe of titanic dysfunction and neglect. Biden and his cohorts are lying to the American people, that they are supposed to serve, with such brazen shamelessness, that one can’t fail to recognize that Biden’s administration is purposely working against the policies that support law and order. The Republicans need to broadcast the facts surrounding the tragic consequences of having an open border, over and over again, until even many of the ignorant progressives can no longer allow themselves to peacefully live in a Peter Pan fantasy land.

These characters are not migrants, but a surrogate army for the Fascist democrats. They take our resources and are nothing but parasites that Dirty Joe Biden and his pirate government are bringing into the country. The jackasses believe that there are no boarders! This is the doctrine of the socialists, who are mentally and morally depraved. Both these alien invaders and the counterfeit government need to be removed.

This great method of fighting back came from Three Govenor’s, the RNC set ideally by and has been late to the party on every issue, it appears that they don’t have anyone who is smart enough to come up with ways to fight back on any issue, whether is limiting, the Christian faith, Free Speech, the 2nd Amendment, Protecting the 4th, 5th, Amendments, and Explaining the 10th Amendment.
Don’t get me wrong, I am anti-Abortion, but Republicans need to limit discussion of the issue, talk about the Economy, Jobs, the Border, which is an American Sovereignty issue.
If we lose this Election folks, we won’t see another free and open Election and America will be lost.
Give credit to the Republican Governors, they are the true protectors of America, and give the RNC little to no credit!
God Bless America!

The RNC and those who profess to endorse it are a waste of time and money, not to mention air and water. This country, meaning all good and true conservatives, and the people we elect to Congress to represent us need to start kicking some a** and taking names. I’m from Texas and am embarrassed that my two senators are some of the biggest do nothing wind bags in Washington. We should be building the wall to make it impenetrable, catch and arrest anyone and everyone who crosses illegally and send them back, imprison for life all who escape deportation or return after deportation, and make it a capitol offense for an illegal alien to commit any crime against person or property. For those of you that are confused, that means a death penalty carried out immediately. Any and all illegals currently in our country need to be arrested and deported, regardless of family or work connections including all DACA morons. No exceptions. And if you try to resist arrest or evade capture, you will be shot on site.
But these things all take balls and the great percentage of our elected officials are like Dirtbag McConnell and are incapable of actually DOING anything. They just whine and make excuses and cover their a**es while the good CITIZENS of this country pay the price.
During the French Revolution, the citizenry set up guillotines in the courtyard to “handle” those elitist leaders who ignored the people. Perhaps the appearance of one of those machines on the Mall might remind our elected leaders who is supposed to be really running the show. An occasional demonstration might not be a bad thing either.

The Republicans had better show some courage and resolve. Talk doesn’t cut it if they don’t have the guts to show what they are doing and stop the blah blah blah. They should all follow the example of Gov. Abbott of Texas, Gov. DeSantis of Florida and Gov Ducey of Arizona and any others who stand up to TYRANY! If they are all talk and no action, vote them out. Stand against evil!

A few of the politicians are finally squawking NOW because it is near election time. This has been going on for a while now and we have no idea who and what has entered our country illegally. Stop blaming Byedone and blame who is responsible for allowing it, our politicians in our areas. They should of stood up in the very beginning and finished the wall and none of this would be going on now. So when you go and vote, make sure you vote the same complacent, non-caring, robbing us blind, idiots back into office. When we vote these criminals into office, they are supposed to be protecting our interests and working for the betterment of the folks whose district they represent. Wake up sheeple, not a one of them are worthy of our vote and our trust.

This was a brilliant idea from Abbott and DeSantis. It forced the mainstream media to cover the story since they weren’t covering it at all before. Now the rest of America can see what’s really going on and expose Biden and Harris for who they really are, corrupt liars!
Vote Republican in November!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Governors of Florida and Texas have made decisive moves to bring the open border to the attention of more voters. This is action. Action is important. The campaigns should begin to propose action representatives and senators plan to take if elected. I see campaign ads criticizing opponents for what they have spent or personal history. Even past elections should not be the subject. We have major problems. Focus on what we should do about them.

A very very large percentage of the American public have Never been to the southern border. Likewise, a very very large percentage of the American politicians have Never been to the southern border.
About 35-40 years ago I lived in Mexico for a few years. I entered Mexico by both means of flying and by driving over the border…at multiple sites in California and Arizona. There was a problem 3 or 4 decades ago and I know the problem in much much worse now. When I was living in Mexico I had to obtain validations and permits from government security agencies and consulates of Both Countries. It was a lot of work. But Mexico is not my nation and they deserved my compliance. I also paid significantly to learn the language, and continually spoke to obtain fluency, which is something that I would expect from anyone relocating to a different country (not necessarily to pay, but to ar least attempt to learn).
Back to my point of this post: Because so very few have even Seen or Experienced southern border crossing, that majority should not be voicing Any Opinion regarding said illegal migration. “Seeing is believing” would not normally be the necessary case in all political matters. But in this case, because so so many are so so clueless, it may be necessary to actually, fully, completely experience crossing the southern border.

Martha’s Vineyard set a beautiful example for the nation. They used the military to deport every last illegal migrant from their island in less than 48 hours. The entire nation should emulate Martha’s Vineyard.

The numbers are staggering. I was unaware of the 1900% increase in murderers crossing the border under the biden administration…“coming to a town near you!”

I briefly switched to the local NPR station a couple of days ago just to hear what they’re saying. One of the commentators, speaking on immigration, referred to those crashing the border as “legal immigrants”! No one said a word!! And, being NPR, there was no opposing opinion. Their public funding should be withdrawn.

Every president has been blamed for a border crisis. Immigration policy cannot be based on new executive orders every4-8 years. this is congress’ border crisis. No meaningful immigration action has been undertaken in congress since Reagan’s days and he made the whole thing worse by destabilizing central and south america with his drug enterprise featuring noriega and oliver north. No outrage over europeans wanting in I see.

The solution to refugees is to build refugee camps where they can be held until it is safe for them to return to their country of origin. That is what international law requires. The US did that after a revolution and civil violence led to people fleeing Haiti in boats. There is no requirement of the host nation to accept refugees as immigrants because most countries would not take them in at all in that case. The Biden administration has effectively invited the population of the world to move here and they will, since our standard of living is among the highest in the world. We can’t handle ten times our current population.

First, there are issues that GOP must address with plausible measures that they are going to take to reach tangible results. Secondly, GOP should have concrete plans itemizing obtainable goals that will have a positive impact on all Americans by addressing inflation or eventually recession, open borders resulting in fentanyl and other crimes, pseudo racism that liberal are using to divide us, and holding Big Techs and MSM accountable for bridging our First and Second Amendments. Third, making sure federal entities hold true to our Constitution and stop working to advance one party propaganda against the other party, especially having the Dems to corrupt our institutions by being bias.
