In recent weeks, even as Democrats desperately try to stage a comeback in the polls ahead of the midterm elections, the mainstream media has launched a full-scale pressure campaign on President Joe Biden, urging him to not seek re-election in 2024. Through a series of op-eds, reports, and polls citing concerns ranging from Biden’s advanced age to his general governing incompetence, this once-reliable ally of all elected Democrats now appears to be trying to throw Biden overboard.
The first significant broadside came on July 9th from the New York Times. The piece’s benign headline, “At 79, Biden Is Testing the Boundaries of Age and the Presidency,” belies its stinging excoriation of the President. “His energy level, while impressive for a man of his age, is not what it was,” the piece states. “He often shuffles when he walks and aides worry he will trip on a wire. He stumbles over words during public events, and they hold their breath to see if he makes it to the end without a gaffe.”
Late last month, the Washington Post piled on with another op-ed from Steven L. Isenberg calling for Biden to immediately pledge not to seek a second term in 2024. In doing so, the piece argues “the midterm elections this November would become about key issues and the quality of individual House and Senate candidates rather than the merits of Biden’s presidency and whether voters feel he should run again.” As Isenberg lays out, the primary fear among many Democrats heading into the midterms is that Biden’s growing unpopularity will act as an anchor around the neck of vulnerable candidates.
Isenberg’s piece followed on the heels of another scathing article in the Post that asserted Biden’s advanced age would all but guarantee his defeat in 2024. According to research conducted by the authors of the piece, Biden’s struggles with young voters alone – who are more likely to support younger candidates – will likely make him an unviable candidate should he run for reelection.
All of this is, of course, no surprise to conservatives or anyone who has spent much time at all watching Biden at public events. But it is nonetheless a shocking change of tune from a media outlet that spent much of 2020 dismissing concerns about Biden’s mental and physical deterioration as Republican disinformation.
Mainstream outlets have also been careful to highlight polling showing that a majority of Americans – including a majority of Democrats – don’t want Biden to run again. One article from CNN in late July ran with the headline “People *really* don’t want Joe Biden to run again.” A few days later, CNN released a poll of their own showing that three in four self-described Democrats don’t want Biden to run again. Another article from USA Today this past Sunday highlighted interviews with “DNC members across a dozen states” that “revealed doubts about Biden’s future.”
In addition to making clear how unlikely a Biden victory in 2024 is and highlighting how unpopular Biden has become, mainstream publications have also reassured Democrats that there are a number of viable alternatives. A recent poll found that Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg polled slightly ahead of Biden among New Hampshire Democratic voters in New Hampshire. Former First Lady Michelle Obama is also gaining some attention as an “emergency” nominee.
But the media’s campaign to replace Biden with an ostensibly more popular candidate may be little more than wishful thinking. To begin with, figures like Buttigieg and Michelle Obama are far less popular with the public than they are with the media. Moreover, as Biden’s Vice President, Kamala Harris is the heir apparent, and the media will likely find it difficult to dismiss or discount her candidacy. Like Biden, she is another figure the media heavily propped up in 2020 but has since fallen out of favor, with a number of stories highlighting dysfunction amongst Harris’s staff at the White House. She ranks near the bottom of most national polls for 2024, and is even more unpopular than Biden with the public.
The mainstream media thus finds themselves in an unenviable position, but one entirely of their own creation. Having helped elevate a man to the Oval Office who was wholly incapable of performing the duties of the office, the political fortunes of other elected Democrats and the credibility of the media itself are now in serious jeopardy. Unfortunately for them, turning on Biden now won’t change either of those facts.

Harris won’t be the 2024 presidential candidate either, so she will announce shortly before the Democrat contest ramps up in mid 2023 that she won’t be seeking re-election as POTUS. That will clear the field for the Democrats to foist a fresh, new array of “progressive” (socialist) choices on the public. It doesn’t matter who is chosen, as they will all be supporting the exact same socialist platform as all the 2020 Democrat nominees, including your so-called “moderate” Joe Biden, did. In any event, it is highly questionable at this point, if there will be anything left to save of the old republic by the time the 2024 elections role around.

The monster to watch out for is Gavin Newsom. With his slicked-back hair (reminiscent of Gordon Gekko in “Wall Street”) and propensity for a greed-disguised-as-diligence persona, it’s a scary but very real likelihood he will toss his hat in what’s perceived by many now as the three-ring circus we justifiably, after 2020, call a presidential election.
We have the perfect storm of deceit and treachery. Most of the main stream media news networks are nothing more than disgusting propaganda machines, and the average citizen who supports and approves of Biden is apathetic and ignorant. The apathy and propaganda have created the perfect political environment for liberals and Marxists to stubbornly refuse to modify their inexcusable incompetence. Now that some in the media are starting to turn on Biden, the political and economic dysfunction is so profound that there is no turning back. The average progressive voter either remains painfully ignorant of the truth or he/she becomes very angry at being mislead by a bunch of partisan hacks.
The problem with Biden is that he is a liar. The thing about liars like Biden is now he can’t remember when, where, and who he has lied to. It makes his lies look like foolish attempts to lie, so now he has become a fool and an idiot.
If they would even mention Michelle Obama, it shows just how desperate they really are. This woman is not a politician and has shown her disdain for America. If she were to be elected it would mark Barrack Obama’s 4th term. His current 3rd. term isn’t going so well and he wouldn’t be able to run things from his basement with Michelle in place. The entire idea is absurd and she is absurd.
The Dems know Bidens done, they can only prop him up for so long… They are all scared shiftless come November 2022. No matter how much mud they throw on Trump and his supporters it will Not help Bribem and his band of clowns… Even the main sleeze media got that Point.

Just my opinion, but the best thing that could happen – for us, and the United States, is if Biden insisted on running. That would make the 2024 Presidential race a slam-dunk for just about any Republican candidate.

It is very interesting that the Lying Left who lies about 100% of the time can actually face the truth when it hits them in the face. Any idiot with a brain knows Biden is senile and incompetent. The best part of it all is that it appears that the Democrats are struggling to try to find a viable replacement candidate! My bigger concern is that when the Republicans take back the House and maybe the Senate, and then the White House is that we can rely on them to actually do all they can and should do to prosecute the Democrats who committed crimes while in office. Republicans previously in power had a reputation of talking a lot and doing little. The Establishment Republicans cannot be much relied on as they appear to fear taking action against the other party for fear of retaliation. That is why term limits are so important, career politicians tend to be more tolerant of wrong doings by the other side. When we Conservatives have the power again it is so imperative that we constantly demand that the House and Senate perform as we elected them to. I am very optimistic about the coming elections, slightly pessimistic (based on past experience) of performance.
I am a senior and have voted in many presidential races. I try to be balanced and heavy on information. I have never wished so desperately that a candidate not of my choosing suddenly disappeared. I am a devoted Christian. I pray every day and I try to keep my prayers free of any sins other than my own. Not with Biden. Not with Kamala. Not with Buttigieg (gag me with a spoon). I am old and soon will be getting ready for my “homecoming.” Thus I have added another prayer to my daily prayers. “Please, Dear Lord, help our struggling country. We are dying. All the good that America has done and is capable of doing will wick out if Biden remains in office. I leave this in your hands, Dear Lord, as I do everything.” That is the way of it. Please, please help us and all those that Biden has harmed.”
Sorry, getting Biden to say he isn’t running doesn’t exclude him from the campaign. He is still the leader of the democrat party (like it or not) and his stupidity paints the whole dnc with the same stupid paint.

“Run, Joe, run!” Biden’s nomination in 2024 is just what this country needs. If he wins the presidency, we will know for sure that the elections system is faulty.
How much do you want to bet that the dems and the media will claim that the machines worked perfectly? No problems, no fraud. And that this is what America wanted, after all, and what it got. If this happens, what we’ll get is another 4 years of abject misery. Most likely, though, the MSM will groom certain candidates, even though they might be only marginally better (less horrible) than biden. All the media eventually will gang together and do tons of free campaigning for the candidate of their choice.

It appears that by concentrating on Biden’s advancing age they are also attempting to discount Trumps ability to govern since he will be 78 by the time 2024 comes. Even many Un-Democrats ( a generic name for those who are not Republican cheerleaders but are Conservatives) consider the risks of electing Trump to a second term which would expire when he is 82. The RNC will have to look at this and try to convince Trump to take a different role that that of President, possibly as a senior advisor/ mentor to allow a future leader like Ron DeSantis of Florida to glean the necessary on the job training from him of how to navigate this high office and avoiding the pitfalls and landmines that can destroy a leader of the free world.
Watch out Joe, your usefulness is just about over. Your next booster might be the real one. Nancy is also losing her power. Time to thin the swamp and make room for the Progressive Socialists that can figure out how to shred the Constitution quicker.

If the Dems are so concerned about the midterms, they certainly didn’t help their cause with a KGB style raid on Trump! Claiming some kind of urgency over “classified documents” 18 months after he left office just makes it all the more obvious what’s going on! Not even weasel Adam Schiff show can explain that one away! So as long as they are shooting themselves in the foot, they decide to go ahead and shoot the other foot with a deceptively labeled Bill, (Inflation Reduction Act), that will accelerate the economy towards a full blown depression! I guess they’ve decided it’s too late for damage control, so just go ahead and sink that ship and start working on ways to blame Republicans for the mess they made before 2024 gets here! Biden is not POTUS material! This whole failure re: biden’s “leadership” is beyond any reasonable comprehension. But, being as the man’s been installed as POTUS means we’re stuck with him until 2024 or until he’s impeached… which concerns me.
