The electorate should be more concerned with the content of political ads and stories dark money buys than with where money to pay for them came from! The 1st Amendment does not restrict how much money can be donated or spent or by who.
Federal Campaign laws are at the heart of how the left has gained control of mainstream media. Every rule and case the FEC promulgate and prosecutes are in conflict with the first Amendment. Read Bradley Smith’s comments from his time as chairman of the FEC.
The FEC is a part of the deep state cancer that needs to be excised from the body politic.
