Evidence continues to pile up implicating President Joe Biden and the First Family in political corruption. So why do so few Americans know about it?
Over the last several weeks alone, whistleblowers have testified that the Biden family received millions of dollars in bribes from foreign countries, the FBI knowingly covered up Biden’s bribery scheme with a Ukrainian energy company, and Attorney General Merrick Garland has likely interfered with the DOJ’s investigations into the Biden family, among other groundbreaking revelations.
These allegations all suggest that Joe Biden used the pulpit of the vice presidency to accept bribes from foreign countries—enriching himself and his family at the expense of an uncompromising commitment to the common good and loyalty to the Constitution.
But according to a recent series of polls conducted by the Media Research Center (MRC), less than half of voters are even aware of the House Oversight Committee’s bombshell report released in May, which revealed that the Biden family received more than $10 million from foreign companies (mostly during Biden’s time as vice president) as part of what the report called a “scheme to peddle influence from 2015 to 2017.”
According to bank records unveiled in the report, Hunter Biden’s family received more than $1 million from a corrupt Romanian businessman when Biden served in the Obama administration. An additional $2 million from the same source went to a company controlled by Hunter Biden’s business partner.
Yet, according to the MRC poll, only 47 percent of voters have even heard about the report. Similarly, less than half of voters are aware of the FBI’s withholding of bombshell bribery evidence against Biden.
Those figures were even lower among respondents who said they got their news primarily from CNN or MSNBC. Just 41 percent of that group said they had heard about House Republicans’ report on the Biden family’s corruption.
That ignorance extends to other issues of top concern as well. Just 38 percent of CNN and MSNBC viewers said they were aware that there have been an average of 2.3 million border crossings per year under Biden (as opposed to 77 percent of Fox News/Newsmax viewers who said the same). Similar splits emerged when respondents were asked if they were aware of key facts about the economy, like that households have lost $7,100 of purchasing power under Biden (38 percent and 61 percent, respectively).
“This poll is just more evidence of the leftist media’s corrupt election interference,” said L. Brent Bozell III, MRC president. “It’s no surprise that voters who rely on these leftist cable networks for their news are vastly less aware of Joe Biden’s multiple scandals and policy disasters. CNN and MSNBC know exactly what they’re doing, which is to bury the truth of Biden’s failures in order to save Joe Biden from himself.”
Of course, evidence of the Biden family’s corruption (and Biden’s policy failures) has only continued to pile up since the MRC poll was released at the end of June—but given that the media refuses to cover any story that even vaguely points to any wrongdoing by the Bidens, many voters remain entirely unaware of the earth-shattering revelations.
Had President Donald Trump or any other Republican official been accused of the same crimes now looming over Joe Biden, they surely would have faced immediate impeachment or indictment. As Tristan Justice observed in an essay in The Federalist, it is now clear that Trump’s impeachment in 2019 “was more about protecting Biden than indicting Trump”—and that there is now “more evidence to impeach Biden over Ukraine than there ever was for Trump.”
The left-wing media’s refusal to report any news that incriminates Biden—no matter how explosive it is—creates the troubling impression that Democrats inhabit their own distorted political reality, devoid of any facts, news, or information that contradicts their manufactured narratives.
To liberal media operatives, Biden’s endemic corruption simply does not matter. In their minds, conservatives are evil—and any news story that could potentially obstruct their ultimate goal of defeating Republicans and enacting a far-left agenda must be avoided at any cost. The ends justify the means.
Progressives’ wholesale rejection of reality, of course, is not limited to Biden’s corruption. The modern American left—which routinely rejects the truth in favor of a utopian commitment to uprooting human nature, abolishing capitalism, “reimagining” law enforcement, and saving the planet by compelling people to eat insects—frequently peddles outrageous falsehoods.
But as Biden’s woeful polling performance on issues like the economy has shown, the media and Democrat establishment can never fully convince the public to deny the obvious. When it comes to Biden’s corruption, the days of simply being able to pretend the scandal doesn’t exist may be numbered.

I still don’t understand why the Republicans are dragging their feet. If any of this would have involved a Republican politician they would have been strung up by now and hung from the nearest tree. I guess high crimes and misdemeanors don’t apply to the Democratic party, only to the rest of us deplorables.
We’ll see just how equal we are under the law sometime today when the judge in the Hunter plea deal determines exactly what his fate will be. Will it continue to be the sweetheart deal, or real jail time? Any of us would already be serving time if the same circumstances applied.

The free press is an essential pillar of a democratic republic. When the majority of the press, including the three legacy TV networks and the largest newspapers, for all practical purposes act as the communications wing of the DNC, that essential pillar has crumbled. Add to that the collusion between the Federal Government and the social media outlets to restrict free speech, and we are where we are. It doesn’t help that elements of the opposition political party don’t act like the opposition and we are headed to a one party nation. It starts to look like the final days of the Weimar Republic.
It escapes me as to the why the so called news outlets have not been held accountable for their outright lies and failure to report the corruption in our government instead of being a part of it, and I always was taught that if you lied for someone to keep them from being punished you became liable as well, meaning that the media should not have the protection of the constitution if they deliberately fail to report the truth, and instead report lies. I have the right to free speech, but if I lie deliberately I become liable if my free speech causes harm to anyone or to the welfare of this nation, I could be prosecuted for the deliberate falsehood. The media has freedom and that freedom is being used for harm to all Americans. The main reason is that we do not have “fact checkers” in our employ to verify their words. We cannot take their freedom away of course, but they should be able to be held liable to report the truth to the best of their ability. Truth, not lies to help any person, political party, or any group of people. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, otherwise they get called out and reprimanded fully for all to see. The MEDIA, regardless of the source, IS NOT ABOVE THE LAW ! I have the right to say whatever I desire to say, but that free speech of mine is not without consequences, if I lie under oath in court, I can go to jail, ect, ect. Free speech has it’s limits as all people, realise, seems like most of our media just relish their role as liars. It is sad, I would like to turn on tv to a news broadcast and feel assured that what I am going to hear is truth to the best of their ability to report what is actual facts. God help us if they don’t.

Even though the SC has ruled that the administration is not to interfere with media in covering up information, my bet they are still doing it. Appears the key might be to find a way to make this information available.

JRB understood that HRC was likely to be BHO’s successor, at least as the Democratic Party nominee. Consequently, he saw VPOTUS as a terminal position even as he was jealous of the wealth amassed by other politicians around him (notably the Clintons). Given Ukraine in his portfolio of responsibilities and knowing full well how corrupt the country was (and is), he saw his opportunity and took his shot, never expecting it all to catch up with him.
