roeOffers members chance to watch the early release – before it’s available to the general public

April 8, 2021 – The Association of Mature American Citizens (AMAC) announces an exclusive premiere for its members of the film ROE V. WADE.

Every so often, a special film comes along on a topic that many of our members care about. At AMAC, we value our members and believe that liberal Hollywood often fails to accurately represent conservative values fairly and honestly. This film, starring many great Hollywood actors, breaks that mold.

The movie follows the true story of Dr. Bernard Nathanson, an abortion provider who becomes an anti-abortion supporter. The film provides a fresh perspective on the tough subject of abortion and follows the 1973 Supreme Court decision that guaranteed a women’s right to abortion. The pro-life film touches upon personal experiences regarding the controversial subject matter and demonstrates how events and awareness can impact and change one’s stance. We strongly encourage you to watch.

Take a journey to discover what is at the heart of the national battle and experience the never-seen-before side of the story. Increase your knowledge of history of the most controversial court case in history! And increase your own awareness on the sanctity of life.

The movie, written and directed by Cathy Allyn and Nick Loeb features great actors including:

  • Jon Voight (Justice Warren Burger)
  • Nick Loeb (Dr. Bernard Nathanson)
  • Stacey Dash (Dr. Mildred Jefferson)
  • Jamie Kennedy (Larry Lader)
  • Joey Lawrence (Robert Byrn)
  • Corbin Bernsen (Justice Harry Blackmun)
  • Greer Grammar (Sarah Weddington)
  • John Schneider (Justice Byron White)
  • Robert Davi (Justice William Brennan)
  • Steve Guttenberg (Justice Powell)
  • William Forsythe (Justice Potter Stewart)
  • And many more amazing cast members

This is an exclusive premiere for AMAC members to see this film at a special discounted price before it is available to the public. See the film now for reduced price of $12.99 (plus $1.25 transaction fee)*

As a prominent senior organization, AMAC is centered on American values, freedom of the individual, exercise of religion, equality of opportunity, sanctity of life, rule of law, support of American Veterans, and more. I have to share my experience here. I was flabbergasted when I heard about this movie and had to watch it. I literally cried almost the whole way through. I was naive and totally unaware of the politics of the time but was actually relieved that I could have an abortion when I found out I was pregnant at the age of 21, just around the time the law went into effect. I had a fear-based relationship with my father and was living with him at the time. He was a military man and was paying for my schooling. I was fearful of the consequences of losing my housing, job and my schooling that that was the driving force for making my choice to abort. And, believe me I never in my life thought that the fetus was alive and that I was actually killing a human being!! I remember seeing Planned Parenthood booths at the county fair but totally ignored them as I didn’t understand nor was I interested in finding out more about them. At the clinic I was counseled shortly before the abortion to ensure I wanted to go through with it but it was like I was in a trance and was being held hostage to my fear. My fear was so extreme I could not consider any other alternative. The movie brought back buried memories of that fear, being alone and having no one I could trust that rise to haunt me once again. I flew on a small plane to the abortion clinic out of town and was put in a large room with other women on stretchers. We were given a sedative in an IV. Then when it had taken affect I was wheeled into a separate room where the nurses and doctor were waiting. I lost it on the table and was shaking uncontrollably. That’s when the doctor yelled at me to stop or get off the table. It took everything I had to stop my body from shaking and I froze in place until they were done. Afterwards I was put in another room with several other women who were also post-op but I couldn’t stay there. I had to get out of there fast. I remember the taxi driver asking me if I was ok and I gave him a short “yeah” remark I think, I’m not sure. But I remember his face and the sad look as he peered at me through the rear view mirror. I just looked out the window in a daze. Then I flew home. No one, not my family, friends, co-workers or church members knew anything. I hid it well but I was dying inside. I cannot express the effect it has had on my psyche, my basic happiness and my character. I wish to God that I had not done it, and I wish I had had the courage to tell my dad I was pregnant. I may not have lived to have more children later in life but my fear was so overwhelming I really thought I had no choice. I wanted to share my experience with other women who may have been considering it and I could see myself doing it but it never came to be. Being afraid of someone was not the right reason to have an abortion but I lacked the courage and self confidence to face my fear as I literally feared for my life. If anyone reading this knows or suspects someone of considering having an abortion, approach them with kindness and compassion and let them know you care about them and will stand by them. They do not need to fear the external only the internal ruin if they do decide to abort. We do not have the right to kill our babies. We are murderers. Please educate them, and educate them well.
