AGIA has grown steadily from a family-run insurance agency, started in the late 1950s, to what we are today: a technologically advanced, multi-faceted, full-service broker, marketer, and administrator managing insurance and non-insurance benefit programs for over 100 affinity groups representing over 30,000,000 members. We strive to lead the industry in the development and delivery of insurance and non-insurance benefits and services that enhance the relationships between affinity organizations and their customers. AGIA’s guiding principles of offering best in class products and customer service keep us disciplined and focused, and results in success for our clients. We will continue to create products and services that add value to and strengthen the relationships between our clients and their members.

It is for these reasons that AGIA and AMAC have partnered to provide high-quality services that members can rely on. One of those services is the Emergency Assistance Plus® (EA+®) Program.

Emergency Assistance Plus (EA+) is an annual membership that provides cardholders with protection anytime they travel. Whether they’re thousands of miles away or merely a short road trip from home, EA+ members take with them the peace of mind knowing that should a medical emergency arise, there’s a team of highly skilled professionals at the ready to arrange and provide critical, even life-saving, services that ensure members are receiving proper medical care and that they get home safely to their loved ones.

When you’re a card-carrying member of Emergency Assistance Plus, you can rest easy knowing that what you’re really toting is a suite of customized medical, security, and travel assistance services that go beyond most travel insurance and health plans (including Medicare!)

Whether you’re halfway around the world on a jet-setting trip of a lifetime or only a half day’s drive from home, you’re protected by EA+. That’s why almost 2 million travelers have relied on EA+ since 1996. Simply put, we provide year-round world travel protection.

The benefits of EA+ membership extend beyond the cardholder. In the event that you suffer a medical emergency while traveling, Emergency Assistance Plus ensures your loved ones are also properly cared for, we treat members and their loved ones like family.

We offer two plans customized to meet your needs: The Essential Plan and the Premier Plan. The Essential Plan includes Emergency Medical Evacuation, Transportation Home, RV/Vehicle Return, Return of Remains, Assistance for Companions such as transportation home for a traveling companion, ticket to join hospitalized member, for minor children or grandchildren and pet housing or return home assistance. The Premier Plan includes assistance with hotel stay after hospitalization, bereavement reunion and hotel room for traveling companions in addition to the services offered in the Essential Plan. When you choose the EA+ Premier plan, these assistance services are available to you when you are at home, as well as when traveling away from home. When you purchase a family membership, both you and your spouse (as well as any dependent children) have access to all EA+ member services when you are traveling together, or even if you are traveling apart.

The executive and leadership group that steers the EA+ ship is focused on delivering industry-leading service that permeates every level of membership and every aspect of the member experience. It’s important that we understand our members’ needs, which is why we work hand-in-hand with the Global Response Center and Emergency Response teams. Most importantly, at the end of the day, we pride ourselves on recognizing that our members are people—in particular, people in need of time-sensitive assistance. It’s that human-driven approach that distinguishes Emergency Assistance Plus from so many other emergency travel assistance programs on the market.

Whether it’s a dream vacation to a foreign country or a fun trip to visit friends and family, AMAC understands that freedom to travel is more important than ever. That’s why we negotiated an exclusive partnership with Emergency Assistance Plus® (EA+®). Our annual membership plans are as follows:

  • EA+ Essential plan: $209 for Member-Only, or $269 for Member & Spouse/Family
  • EA+ Premier plan: $279 for Member-Only, or $339 for Member & Spouse

EA+ helps you live life to the fullest by delivering an exceptional package of services – which can be critical in case a medical emergency happens when you’re away from home. In addition to the discount negotiated for AMAC members, enrolling in EA+ also gives you an additional year of AMAC membership at no additional cost! Enroll now to gain access to EA+ services!
