August 6, 2024 – Bohemia, New York – The Association of Mature American Citizens is proud to serve as a partner for the first annual March for Kids, happening at 10:00 am on August 31, 2024, at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The March for Kids is a collaboration of more than 100 grassroots organizations to defend the fundamental right of parents to direct the upbringing of their own children and protect the autonomy of families.

In recent years, parental rights have come under assault in this country as politicians and politically motivated actors in the education system seek to indoctrinate rather than educate American students. Schools are exposing children to Critical Race Theory, radical gender theory, invasive data collection, and explicit materials while parents are either kept in the dark or actively silenced by those in power.

The March for Kids is a vital part of the movement to push back against these dangerous trends and give parents a powerful voice on the national stage.

“Nothing is more important than protecting the safety and dignity of our children,” said AMAC CEO Rebecca Weber. “To millions of moms and grandmothers across the country, this issue is personal to us, and on behalf of AMAC’s two million members, we are honored to be a part of the first-ever March for Kids. This is a historic moment for Americans to unite for the future of our children.”

Keynote speakers include Tulsi Gabbard, Dr. Alveda King, and Glenn Beck.

Marchers will call upon policymakers at all levels of government to enact legislation that protects parental rights and ensures that families are not subject to intrusive mandates or interventions that undermine their authority.

We invite AMAC members to join us at the March for Kids to protect parental rights. Those interested in attending or contributing to the event can read more about it HERE.
