“Health insurance should work like auto insurance. If I go in, it’s covered based on me paying for the premium, not based on me going somewhere that just happened to be in-network.”

You don’t have to be an economist to know that in the short span of Biden’s Presidency, America has found itself in a monetary mess. Nor do you need to be a political pundit to understand that the cause of our distress is the administration’s decidedly leftist, progressive bent. We are in an inflationary spiral- the likes of which we haven’t seen in decades. The cost of living is increasing by leaps and bounds. Looming is a recession that is bound to make it harder for us to make ends meet.

In an interview with Rebecca Weber, CEO of the Association of Mature American Citizens, on her Better For America Podcast, business and market analyst Seth Denson explained his view on the economy and America’s healthcare crisis. He assured Rebecca that he is not against health insurance, but rather what it has become following the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

Seth stated, “I am against the way that health insurance is currently structured because it’s not insurance at all. When we think about insurance; We think, ‘it’s protecting me from a risk. I’m transferring that risk. ‘What our health insurance system has really become is a financier of that risk. They’re financing it. And really [it has become] what I like to call the largest legal Ponzi [Scheme] in the United States. It’s a system that allows Americans to continuously take all of their money, pour it into this system, and generate massive profits across the board.”

Seth further elaborates how the Affordable Care Act allowed health insurance companies to take over smaller insurance companies, consolidating access to health care and increasing prices. He claims that until we understand that the government need only monitor health care as a “referee,” American taxpayers will continue to bear the burden of health care costs of research and development.

Later, Seth denoted his views on the economy and took Mr. Biden and his minions to task for playing politics for way too long. Denson singled out Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen for her recent remarks of “‘we didn’t see it coming.’” Seth continued, “It’s your job to see it coming. I don’t think Janet Yellen is ignorant,” he said, “I think she’s a very intelligent person. So, either she’s past her prime and can no longer do [her job] because she’s lost her edge, or she’s lying.  And I tend to think it’s probably the latter. They did see it coming. They just knew politically they couldn’t say that.”

Denson went on to offer Ms. Yellen and President Biden a piece of economic advice: reduce deficit spending. That means everybody’s got to start tightening their belt. “That’s not fun, especially in a political season, which it seems we’re never out of. Politicians don’t get reelected by not spending money. And then you’ve got to have a better energy policy.”

The soaring cost of gasoline is a major factor fueling inflation; it plays a critical role in the cost of virtually every commodity we need, including the food we eat. And so, it’s not such a good idea to rely on OPEC and other foreign sources of oil, in the best of times. Denson made the point that what’s worse is the fact that if the administration lifted its politically motivated restrictions on tapping our own plentiful domestic petroleum resources, we’d not only be able to supply fuel for our own needs, but we could be a net exporter of oil.  “It could drive more economic value and, in my opinion, increase our economy, and secure our national security.  But unfortunately, until the Biden administration sits down with these [domestic] energy producers and tells them to go for it, it won’t happen.”

In conclusion, Denson had this to say about American society in general. “We’ve lost a sense of civics in our country. And quite frankly, they’re not taught in our schools the way they should be. It’s one way or the other way. Quite frankly, the other way, which tends to be my way, is rarely taught in schools these days anymore, so that’s really challenging. And then we’ve lost personal responsibility. I mean, just recently the president was out talking about eliminating college debt. Well, that means you’re telling people that never went to college they’re going to pay for people that did or people that spent a lot of years paying off their college debt that, well, you were just too late to the party. There’s no personal responsibility and there’s reliance on the federal government to solve all our problems.” It’s time to pull out the safety net and take back these key principles of civility and self-responsibility for the sake of our country and its economy.

The DEMON rats’plan is working to perfection. Soon, when all the chicken are dead, when all the pigs are dead, when the chemical meat from gates comes out, (( remember soylent green?)), the pantries will be empty, just as the shelves, and the trucks will be stopped, just as the cars, the DEMON RATS will then install Martial Law.
No more elections and TYRANNY will be in place.
Will the police shoot?
Will the military shoot?
They will be in the same pla a we will be!
1789 all over again!
Pitchforks and scythes replaced by 750 Million guns the left hates so much!
They are right to fear us the REAL AMERICAN PEOPLE, regular folks, not queers and deviants, psychologically perfectly sane, unlike all the homosexuals they have now I. Their party of LUCIFER followers!

Seth Denson isn’t wrong with his statements. Most people with a real understanding of economics and finance realize that most big government policies and programs designed to reshape society never workout as promised by the politicians pitching them. Nor are they economically sustainable over the long haul. At the end of the day, nothing is free or never has to be paid for in one form or another.

Obamacare was designed specifically to nationalize a significant part of the healthcare system in this country and that meant consolidation of independent health care providers into what amounts to be large medical organizations, that are highly regulated and largely controlled by the federal government. Wiping out tens of thousands of independent health care practices and leaving only the large hospital-based entities left. That is designed to produce a generally lower quality of care at a higher cost over time. Which is exactly what Obamacare has done, which of course was NOT what Obama or the Democrats promised. Nothing new there from that perspective. The ultimate goal of the left is of course single-payer, government run healthcare. Where the only option available to the masses is what the government decides to provide in terms of healthcare based on your remaining value to society.

As to our domestic energy market, the current war on fossil fuels is specifically designed to drive the cost of gasoline, natural gas and electricity up significantly to make the two so-called preferred green energy solutions, that being solar and wind, more price competative and ultimately the only two sources of energy available. We are just at the beginning of what will be a very painful and expensive process for the vast majority of the American public. Europe is about 7 or 8 years ahead of us in this process and their costs for everything are significantly higher than ours and still rising. They are also the issues of ramdom brown-outs and occasional black-outs to take into consideration, as neither solar nor wind are capable of being baseline power sources and the cost of that must also be factored in.

Of course this war on fossil fuels will result in higher costs to the consumer for nearly everything, as we have already started to see. Virtually all goods transported in our economy rely on either gasoline, diesel or natural gas generated electricity to go from point A to Point B. Additionally natural gas is a critical component of most fertilizers today, so that means much higher costs for all agricultural based food sources. Which in turn is used to help feed our chicken, pork and cattle food sources. The other ripple effects to our country of killing our domestic oil and natural gas industries in order to promote the only two green energy sources favored by certain alarmists in our society, that are neither cheaper nor as reliable and versatile as fossil fuels, will be felt for decades. I’ve seen the actual economic results of these policies on numerous trips to Europe over the last 40 years and frankly most lower and middle class Americans are in for a huge lifestyle change.

As Reagan said “Government is not the answer to our problem, Government is the problem”.
No fiscal responsibility for the overspending by the government, just kicking the can down the road

At the end of the China Joe Biden tenure as POTUS, this dear Nation that has waded through many dire situations, will be very hard put to fix the damage done by the China Joe Biden Presidency. It has become direly important in the very near future to make modifications that will make it impossible to foul up the governance of this Nation. Briefly (1) Term limits Amendment for Congresspersons and Exec branch heads (e. g. IRS, FBI, CIA, etc,); (2) Balanced Budget Amendment with some meaningful penalties for legislators and executive heads for failure to do so successfully; (3) Fix the voting system which is now an embarrassment to the Constitutional Democracy of this Nation. Failure to take actions as listed above means this Nation’s governance will continue its slithering towards Communism in a disguised form.

This NIGHTMARE will only END when WE THE PEOPLE stand up and TAKE OUR COUNTRY back from the FASCIST liberals and DICTATOR Beijing biden.
Till then, WE ALL KEEP GOING DOWN and DOWN and DOWN ONBOARD THE TITANIC.
UNDER PRESIDENT TRUMP WE WERE #1 and ENERGY INDEPENDENT.
I AM AN AMERICAN and PROUD OF IT. MY FAMILY HISTORY GOES BACK FOR ALMOST 400 YEARS SO I DON’T BUY OR BELIEVE ANY OF THAT FASCIST liberal racist talk. I AM A MAN AND PROUD OF IT. MY WIFE WHEN SHE WAS ALIVE TOLD HER FAMILY and FRIENDS THAT SHE WAS GREATFUL TO BE MARRIED TO A MAN WHO IS and ACTS LIKE A MAN WHO PROVIDED, PROTECTED HER and HER CHILDREN and OUR HOME.
I WILL CONTINUE LIKE I HAVE MY WHOLE LIFE TO FIGHT AGAINST ENEMIES (ESPECIALLY DOMESTIC) WHO THREATEN THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA AND DICTATOR Beijing biden and FASCIST liberals ARE AT TOP OF LIST WITH China, Iran, Russia, WHO, United Nations, and ANY OTHER COUNTRY or ENITY THAT THREATENS THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA and OUR FREEDOMS and U.S. CONSTITUTION.
YOU, AMERICA SHOULD DO THE SAME. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY, NOT COMMUNIST, FASCIST liberals country.
REMEMBER ALL THE MEN and WOMEN WHO HAVE LAID THEIR LIVES ON THE LINE FOR OUR FREEDOMS.
IT’S ALWAYS TIME TO HONOR THEM and TO MAKE SURE OUR FATHERS, BROTHERS, UNCLES, NEPHEWS, COUSINS, FRIENDS, WIVES, MOTHERS, AUNTS, NIECES, COUSINS, SISTERS, and FRIENDS DIDN’T DIE FOR NOTHING.
WITHOUT THOSE BRAVE SOULS THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA WOULD NOT EXIST.
THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA IS OUR HOME and WORTH NOT ONLY SAVING BUT PROTECTING.
REMEMBER, WE WENT FROM #1 IN WORLD WITH PRESIDENT TRUMP and ON 1-20-21, DICTATOR Beijing biden PUT THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA LAST IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES SITTING IN OVAL OFFICE KILLING OUR FREEDOMS and ENERGY INDEPENDENCE and TODAY CONTINUES TO DRAIN ALL OF NATIONAL STRATEGIC RESERVE SUPPLIES WHILE PUTTING US IN A DEPRESSION and APPEASING OUR ENEMIES. WE ALREADY PASSED THE RECESSION STAGE.
SPEAKING OF STAGE…IT’S TIME DICTATOR Beijing biden LEFT THE STAGE TAKING HIS COMMUNIST Party WITH HIM.
GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES of AMERICA.

Exactly why we need single payer healthcare.

Hmmm. I would put the National Budget as managed and produced by Congress as being a strong and dominating contender for being most like a Ponzi Scheme. A strong and at least partial rein on the budget produced by Congress would come about if a good Balanced Budget Amendment (with teeth in it when it is not followed).

For Healthcare we need to set the table for market forces to take hold. We currently restrict supply and baby boomer driven demand is increasing. Obama care did nothing to reduce cost. It only changed who is paying for it. Try to become a doctor now days and you wait years to get accepted into a school. Only so many openings. Other Healthcare service providers must survive a “certificate of need” evaluation before opening. Proof that increasing supply would work can be seen when looking at dental and vision. Costs of both have stayed even or less with inflation.
