Does it get any plainer? Big Tech – social media giants, mainstream media, algorithm controllers on Microsoft, ChatGPT, and big search engines – favor Harris, their bias blatant. Truth is elsewhere.
If you ask Amazon’s “Alexa” for views on Trump and Harris, the preference for Harris jumps at you like a jack-in-the-box: Alexa passes on Trump for “politics,” and then fawns over Harris. That is the start.
Ask ChatGPT about Harris’ CNN interview. You get wildly favorable views, no mention of the falsehoods, stark reversals, striking contradictions, and the muddled “what did she say?” reality. Presented as factual, the entire answer is a White House clean-up operation, actually better.
Go to issue after issue and responses are shaped to present Harris in a positive, informed, and cogent light, Trump in an uninformed, hostile, mocking, or disparaging light.
Stepping back, Harris and Walz have conducted one interview – CNN – after Democrats sideswiped their primaries and voters, dumped Biden and installed them. Meantime, Trump and Vance have done more than 40 interviews and will talk openly about anything and everything, no holds barred.
Why does any of this matter? Because a president has just real two jobs –making life-and-death decisions for the country and communicating.
How do Harris and Walz do on the first obligation? They have a combined record that Big Tech, dominated by apologists, should be disavowing, one that is patently flawed, even anti-American.
Harris’ misrepresentations, bold statements of untruth, claiming Biden is fit, backing politically motivated abuses of Justice against an opponent, opening the border, fanning street riots, ending bail, advancing illegal alien voting, damaging the US economy with choking mandates, overspending, debt, interest, hitting energy so hard Americans reel from the bills, are a disgrace.
No less is Walz a disgrace. Lying when pulled over for DUI at 96 mph, disingenuously claiming to be “deaf,” the best he could think of drunk; then falsifying his light military record, pretending to be a higher rank, ducking deployment that got unit members killed, shamelessly pushing illegal alien voting in Minnesota with drivers licenses for illegals, are stunning.
But the second job requirement in a republic is one that should give moderates pause. Here is a ticket that lied about Biden’s mental health, aided by Democrat governors like Mills of Maine and Newsom of California, complicit in Biden’s undemocratic, kick-to-the-side removal, no interviews.
Does it get any more unqualified or undemocratic than that? How can these two argue they will be transparent, representative, accountable, and competent leaders, when – to borrow from Bill Clinton at their illustrious Hollywood convention – they fail the basic job interview?
Put differently, how can Americans contemplate installing two people who, on the record, have the lowest competence, truthfulness on key issues, respect for the law, and willingness to communicate with voters … that we have ever seen in an election for president?
If the top issues are good decision-making on big issues – efficacy of our legal system, respect for individual liberties, border sanctity, election integrity, public safety, national security – and communications with the public, where are we?
The only footnote worth dropping: These two are not alone. These unthinkable behaviors for a presidential ticket and leading party are defended by Big Tech. The lie is promoted by those who sideline ethics for power, who would make this country weak, and all who refuse to speak. Does it get any plainer?
