Support Efforts & Letters

Call to Action – 12-18-2023 – Tell NYC Mayor Adams to Stop Evicting Seniors & Veterans to House Illegal Migrants – By now you’ve heard the stories of New York Mayor Eric Adams facilitating the eviction of American seniors and Veterans from a Staten Island assisted living facility to make room for illegal immigrants. New York AMAC Members were asked to stand up for these elderly New Yorkers and take a moment to send a message to Mayor Adams to tell him that his actions are unacceptable and offensive. Tell him he needs to come up with a better solution to solve New York’s invasion by illegal immigrants.

Support Letter – S.3297 – AMAC Supports Medical Nutrition Therapy Act

Quote of the Week

“This tree represents so much of what makes America great… It also signifies, of course, the beginning of this season of Christmas and the birth of the Lord and savior Jesus Christ. His birth is the reason for the season.”

~ Representative Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House of Representatives

November 28, 2023 – During the annual Christmas tree lighting

What is AMACs official position on H.R.82 -the current bill to eliminate the Windfall Elimination Provision and GPO (Govt. Pension Offset)? Do you support it and if so, why do we not see your official position. This effects 2.5 million people and teachers, fire, police and other public sector individuals who worked hard in second jobs and can not draw a spousal benefit. Even Musk and Bill Gates’ wife can draw 1/2 as a spousal benefit.
