Claiming my SS this year age 66

Good response. My situation was more clear. I retired at 62, and claimed my SS at that time. I calculated when I would equal my FRA, and I would be 78 years and 5 months old when they were equal. My family history doesn’t bode well for longevity, so I opted to start at 62. I never regretted that decision.
