Trump Delivering Massive Victories for American People One Year After Historic Comeback

Last night’s election results have many in the pundit class triumphantly declaring a national repudiation of President Donald Trump and a resurgent Democrat Party. But as Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt reminded us on Wednesday, one year after his victory last November, the President has delivered on virtually all of his major promises – and the GOP would do well to lean into that successful record.

“One year ago today, President Trump won a historic election victory and secured a mandate to Make America Great Again,” Leavitt wrote in a post on X. “Never before have we had a President who has kept their promises to the American people like President Trump,” she added, before listing Trump’s many accomplishments.

Indeed, looking back it is remarkable how much the President has accomplished in just 10 short months in office. The Biden administration was hammered over the inflation issue for three years; Trump solved it in a matter of months. Gas prices came down in just a few weeks. The border was effectively secured in days.

The legislative achievement of the One Big Beautiful Bill is no less remarkable. Democrats fought tooth and nail to oppose its passage, and the corporate media repeated every dishonest liberal narrative about the law. At multiple points, it looked like Republicans might be at an impasse, but personal intervention by Trump willed it across the finish line.

It was yet another masterclass in “the art of the deal,” this time to deliver a slew of victories for the American people. During the 2024 campaign, the media sneered at proposals like “no tax on tips,” “no tax on overtime,” and reduced taxes on Social Security income. Now those proposals are the law of the land. In one bill, Trump did more for working Americans than the political establishment has in decades.

These achievements are even more awe-inspiring considering what Trump endured during the four years he was not in office. Not content to debate him on issues or policies, Democrats under Joe Biden fully weaponized every lever of government power against Trump, launching a nakedly political persecution of the former president to prevent his return to office.

Beginning in 2021, congressional Democrats tried to impeach Trump even though he was no longer in office – an effort that went down in flames just like the first impeachment hoax. The Biden FBI next launched an outrageous raid on Trump’s Florida home and released photos of the whole thing to embarrass him.

Then came the flood of increasingly absurd lawsuits from Democrats to harass, impoverish, and ultimately imprison Trump. Alvin Bragg invented a “novel legal theory” to prosecute Trump in Manhattan even as he allowed scores of violent offenders to walk free. A viciously partisan liberal jury convicted Trump on ridiculous charges so the media could label him a “convicted felon.”

But all of these efforts ultimately failed, because Trump simply refused to submit to the attacks. The more the left came after him, the more popular he became – culminating in a decisive popular vote victory one year ago today.

Trump’s doubters and critics went quiet after that result, proven wrong once again. But how quick they are to resurface now that Democrats won a few races in decidedly blue areas – as if New York liberals and angry fired bureaucrats in Virginia voting against Republicans somehow constitutes a rejection of the America First movement.

How quickly the TDS crowd also forgets that Trump not only saved the Republican Party from sinking further into the political morass of the early 2010s, but also remade it into a diverse party of everyday Americans that is poised to thrive in the decades ahead. How quickly they try to erase the fact that Trump won historic numbers of young people, blacks, and Hispanics – exactly the crowd that didn’t turn out for the GOP candidates who ran away from Trump this year.

Trump’s 2024 victory still stands, and the success of his term so far is undeniable. If Republicans were smart, they’d spend less time fighting amongst themselves and more time making the case to voters about how Trump’s policies have saved the country from the woke train wreck of the Biden years.

The last paragraph Shane Harris wrote is all-telling and exactly what conservatives need to hear, must fully grasp, must engender stronger ties and relations within the GOP politicians framework, and MUST put a stop to all infighting and failure to support the President and his administration. Additionally, it is time for our politicians to take a hard stand against the far left Progressives, their Marxist/socialistic policies, and the intentional fights against everything conservatives do, to include our president.

That’s exactly the problem: if Republicans were smart. They don’t seem to be or they would gather the wagons and work hard on the offensive to show voters ALL that has been accomplished. They have lousy PR and even worse cojones. It is hard to gather energy and enthusiasm when you don’t have real fighters leading you and with Trump off the tickets, it will be a very hard fight that we MUST win.

So many here are being negative about Trump. He has already closed the borders and ended illegals coming in by the millions. He is a miracle worker.
Trump has cut taxes big time for all taxpayers, but especially for middle and lower earners.
Are these ingrates or phony trolls? I am guessing the latter. Go away. No one wants you here.
Every Trump voter I know adores Trump. And more than ever now. I have not heard one Trump voter express anything but admiration for him and his brilliant accomplishments.
Did you all watch how every European leader and Arab leader couldn’t stand close enough to Trump when it was his turn to take pictures with Trump? Trump has charmed world leaders all over. They adore him.
He has sealed peace deals between enemy countries so many times over.
He has only been president for one year and he has gotten more good done for the American people than any other President in his first year.
And so many Democrat judges keep wanting to stop him. Imagine how much more good he could get done if that were not true.
Let’s wait five minutes please before pretending to dislike him. I believe he is getting ready to accomplish ten times as much good for America.

IF I had the power, I would make it mandatory all the idiots in New York who votes for the communist and those in California LIVE in that state for the next 10 years without the option to move out so they can reap the end result of their solipsistic ideas.

That should be the Republican strategy in the midterm election. Not touting the bad communist agenda but Trumps accomplishments. Once tariffs are in place all over the world. The factories built and jobs returning to America. And the illegals deported maybe then the electorate will see the benefits of Trump’s presidency. Till then let’s give the Muslim communist no mind. If we don’t we will be forever a communist nation. The voters yesterday voted for a Mao or a Stalin and they DIDNT even realize it because they know nothing about these dictators. All they saw was the pie in the sky promise of living off the billionaires. Like the SNAP recipient was saying I don’t want to work you taxpayers owe me to pay for my living. The democrats have been effective to blame everything on the billionaires after all they control them. Bringing the masses under government control and enrich the billionaires and themselves. We have RINOS who do the same thing. MTG is an example of that.

So why would a loyal MAGA, or Republican, vote for the other party? We need to take heart, and encourage MAGA and Republicans to always vote to support the changes that are needed, and not think that their vote isn’t needed. I like what Trump has done, and if he gets to complete the work we will see improvement. Do you think that most businesses would be willing to make a lower profit once they have a higher one? How is that the President’s fault? Recovery from four years bad policies takes longer than some people think they want to endure. It could depend on your state. Prices haven’t gone down much in the Democrat state I live in, but when I visited some other states, prices there were on the way down in that location. What Trump does is better than Democrats never trying to do anything they promised.

I love our president!! Unfortunately, after yesterday‘s election fiasco, midterms in 2026 look bleak for Republicans. That means everything that President Trump is doing for America will be nullified by the liberals if they take over the House and Senate in January 2027.

I will never understand the mind-set of people who refuse to see the good things happening in the country BECAUSE of President Donald Trump. Are they simply uninformed, paid to protest only people, those who just don’t care or are totally indoctrinated by far-left liberal ‘free things’ doctrine and hate Trump so much they will allow America to self-destruct? We are in a very serious time when islam is infiltrating our nation from the bottom up (little stores and gas stations to the halls of congress and now leaders of major cities), and must wake up or our country will be lost – as the majority of Europe and England are already.

You listen to the lame stream fake news media and for the most part you won’t hear ANY thing that Trump has accomplished. Right now the media is doing their best to make the blue state victories into some kind of anti Trump event when in reality it’s no different than the previous “red wave” elections that for the most part turned out the same.

Just had a thought and curious about the answer.
When Mandami is sworn in and takes an oath to uphold the laws of the land and the state, who or how does that go? Hand on the Bible or Koran, what law is he going to uphold? This man does not follow the 10 commandments, so how is this going to work? There is some question about his legality in being a naturalized citizen and if he is did he take an oath to become immersed as a US citizen? Just wondering….

I don’t even know where to start with where the momentum is going in this country, but after this last election I think it is obvious. The last paragraph of this article is dead on… make the case to the voters about all of the successes of the first year, and where we would be if the election had gone the other way. But instead, they are all too focused on what someone else said or did. Focus on the success but at the same time come up with solutions to deal with what we are up against… corruption, lies, treason, on and on. How to deal with the media, public education, and dirty money. What are the solutions there? Republicans have the majorities in the House and Senate, as slim as they are, yet the dems still have the power to hold the entire country hostage by refusing to end the shutdown. And it is working for them. Why? Perception! Now that’s control, so how do we deal with that? And ending the filibuster is not the answer. Because even though the dems have voted I believe 14 times now to not open the government, the perception is that it is the fault of Trump and the republicans, thanks to the media. We saw the results of that in the latest election, so what are we doing about that? Because until the real underlying issues are dealt with, the problem can’t be fixed. I heard a long time ago, the only way to solve a problem is to eliminate the source. Who is doing that? We want to talk about the success of the current administration, but what no one is saying is that the perception is that there are no successes, again because of the MSM. So again, who is doing anything about that? Republicans are too soft and there is very little time to toughen up. Dems have the momentum, winning over one city at a time. Again, who is fixing that?

What I’m mainly happy about is how he stopped illegal aliens living off of our government, stopped their coming into our country and deporting the criminals that have shown no respect for our country.

What I don’t think was a good decision is to build a 300 million dollar ballroom. People see that as not caring whether families have food when I know that he does. But, citizens will say actions speak louder than words. In this instance, I don’t support that idea. Why he chose now to do this doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Either way, I’m going to keep praying for our country and it’s leadership as God’s Word directs me to do.

RINO’S don’t have the intestinal fortitude to actually fight/argue against DUMBA$$OCRAT$ or their compadres, so they feel like arguing with another GOPer makes them all ‘masculine and stuff’. “Wow. What a strong-willed character he/she is. I’ma vote for him/her!”

Reality is, this GOP’er lacks the where-with-all to go toe to toe with anyone, but knows it is safe to get up in the face of a cohort. You know…’nother RINO.

So much more good would be done if Liberal activist federal judges would be stopped unconstitutionally delaying President Trumps policies. The Supreme Court already said that they cannot do it but they continue and continue to get away with it. Activist judges who rule by ideology instead of the law or constitution should be disbarred and never be allowed to practice again.

Those who think the recent elections in those blue states and cities were a repudiation of Trumps’ leadership are being mislead and those who say such things are most likely TDS victims or commie leftists.Spewing more lies and hate are what they are good at. I’ve seen many comments against Trump which could not have come from any sane or honest person. Once the leftist have finished ruining the states and cities that elected them then there will be a great revolt against the leftist ideology.

I agree that Trump has done great on immigration, getting rid of DEI, and helping get tax cuts for productive Americans. But gas prices are still too high, inflation is creeping back up, and prices are still TOO and climbing. Most of the investment in this country is going to AI which is NOT reliable and causing massive power usage forcing energy prices up in a lot of rural areas where these AI data centers are being built. Companies are STILL laying off lots of workers which will be replaced by AI with nowhere for them to go. I think tariffs are now hurting the productive class in this country and our national debt is now over 38 trillion!!! There needs to be more done to get America great again and I think Trump is headed in the wrong direction this time around. And NO to ending the filibuster in the Senate cuz if they do, Democrats will use that to take over this country and America will become whatever Mamdani wants for NYC!

Illegals are still everywhere around me. I still can’t go to Walmart without being surrounded. Gas is still high, groceries are still high. Inflation is higher than the SS raise leaving me farther behind, and crime is so bad it takes 30 minutes before they finish the new crime report for the day on the news. War is still raging in Russia and Ukraine, Israel had to resume fighting in Gaza, and Trump has started a new conflict with Venezuela and threatening Nigeria. Meantime, he’s invited Qatar to come to a US base and learn to fly fighter jets so they can attack us right here in payment for his “flying palace’ he just had to have. Money has been wasted on the Lincoln bathroom makeover (it is hideous) and the White House “had to have” ballroom is now costing $300 million that he claims won’t cost us (HA!).

Sorry, I’m not feeling any progress at all. If this is supposed to make life better, he has failed. Job layoffs announced every day and a lot of them because businesses are closing due to higher costs caused by tariffs he’s put in place. Those folks are feeling “progress” either.

So far, I would have to give Trump a C at best. D is more realistic.

For goodness sake, Trump won in large part because he was running against perhaps the most stupid individual to have ever managed to get through childhood. Worse than that was the often quoted “landslide” his victory was. That landslide was by less than 2% of the voters!! AGAINST KAMELA?? My dog could have matched such success.
As for the marvels of his new term…….my IRA will argue with that and though reality was primarily hidden by accounting tricks, the “real” recession hadn’t started until the self believed God called Trump regained office showcasing his skills at getting every country on the planet outside the ever subservient Great Britain to despise us marveling only at our ability to act proud of assisting a genocide committing “ally” to slaughter women and children by the tens of thousands.
Yep…..great goin there Donnie……oh and about those Epstein Files?
