The Supreme Court has the power to interpret the laws and uphold the constitution. Without the Constitution we are not a democracy. Even if sloppy keeps telling us, we on the right, are taking democracy away. No they are. We have a court with 6 right leaning judges and three left leaning judges. It should not be that way. They should all be scholars in the field of law and the CONSTITUTION.
The court has become political because the left wingers believe not in a court that is above them. They know what is best they know the truth. Only they are the racists, dictators, tearing down America and tearing down the most freedom loving nation in the world. Everyone wants to come here. Only now we who don’t follow them blindly, who think for themselves will never be tolerated. We have got to go. It does not matter if you are black or white brown or red. When the individuals signed the loan documents, they agreed to repay the loan. Will the government step in and pay their mortgages or their car payments? I don’t want the government taking anyone else’s money to pay what I promised to pay. My husband and myself with some help from his parents paid for his college degree. It took him a few years to graduate but he did it and we did not incur any debt. We have a President that can be manipulated into doing whatever behind the scenes people want done. He has only shown anger and blank looks as he is seen around the world. The Supreme Court got it right!

The Supreme Court, in theory, is supposed to be neutral and stick to the WORD OF THE CONSTITUTUION AND THE LAW. It appears to me it is no longer following that tenet and is going more towards what they feel is ‘politically correct’, depending on the issue at hand. Some of the decisions almost reek of how much money has been put into the back pockets of justices rather than the actual interpretation of the law. One point in particular is the issue of presidential elections, which are federal and should be overseen by the Supreme Court and not by whimsical state-run attorney generals who are placed according to their political party affiliation. I know that this has nothing to do with current law but the Supreme Court should be allowed to step in when a federal election question arises instead of having those questions dealt with by warring political parties.

The left in this country, which is composed largely of a mix of Marxists, socialists and assorted, low information members of society, is upset with some recent rulings of the Supreme Court because they fundamentally don’t like both our Constitution as written and the United States as founded. Thus when the Court, which is currently comprised of a majority of constitutional conservatives after decades of being dominated by left of center or hard left “Liberals”, rules in a manner that goes against what the left wants, there is an immediate call to either pack the Court, attack the legality of the decision or push for Congress to pass some law to nullify the Court’s ruling. It is what it is. The left in this country is behaving no different from any other country on earth prior to their taking over a country completely and then either packing the Court with leftist ideologues, who will simply rubber stamp the edicts of the dictator in charge, or simply do away with the Court altogether. Thus clearing a path for the dictator to rule unencumbered by the constraints of any existing constitution or laws.
Read your history people or simply look at how recent events have unfolded in countries like Turkey, Brazil, Columbia, Venezuela and elsewhere have played out prior to the hard left taking total control of everything. The same exact types events are happening here in the United States.

Congress was not instituted to pick and choose segments of our population. Giving preferences to one group at the expense of others is dirty politics. We are all Americans with equal opportunity endowed by our creator. The Supreme Courts only duty is to insure our laws do not infringe on our equal rights, provided by our constitution. Supreme Court judges have lifetime appointments. Absolutely not! They serve until they retire or are removed for bad behavior–and several have been removed.

I cannot respond to this poll because it does not give me the choice to condemn the Court from a righteous, Christian perspective. Let me list the actions of the Supreme Court over the last 60 years that have brought the wrath of God upon the nation, which began with the covid 19 pestilence: Removal of prayer and Bible reading from public schools, effectively cancelling Christianity and blaspheming Christ to the entire nation and especially our children; Beginning the heathen practice of abortion – murdering the unborn at any whim of an ungodly mother, ending the protection of human life and giving mothers and others the right to kill forbidden by God in the Bible and the commandment – “You shall not murder;” doing away with bans on obscenity and pornography; destroying sodomy laws, opening Pandora’s Box for all sexual deviancy that now floods our schools, our sports, our airwaves, our televisions and computers; giving us gay marriage – an abominable anti-family, anti-children act of wickedness and defiance to God.
In all these wicked rulings by the Court, the Almighty God was blasphemed and his Holy Bible and these wicked justices lifted themselves up as gods among the people and today are worshiped by many Americans and regarded as the epitome of law and Constitutional justice. Babies are not protected, as the whim of a state legislature can give or take life at their will, just as the communists and haters of God want it. The recent court that has supposed pro-life justices was shown to be pro-choice after all.
Now they throw Americans a few bone on more minor issues, but the issues that made them gods will not be touched. They are worthy of impeachment, arrest, trial, and execution for mass murders and crimes against this nation and her children! This is the truth before God. The best of them are wicked murderers. I fully support the recent decisions. (1) I attended college in the 1960’s. I could not have been able to do so without National Defense Student Loans. The amounted to about 40K in current dollars. My wife and I paid off every penny, within four years (while I was still in graduate school). I paid mine, I sure as “hello” don’t want to pay someone else’s. (2) I professed engineering for 35 years at a respected SEC university. I saw the impact of “affirmative action”. Many students admitted that way did not have the qualifications, and did not succeed. Others with the same backgrounds went first to community colleges to raise their skill levels, and were admitted without affirmative action. They succeeded. I always though it unfair that unqualified applicants (admitted through affirmative action) displaced higher qualified applicants. Finally, affirmative action helped create a bloated university administration, the cost of which was passed on to the students.

Nine pompous lawyers in black robes, any five of which, can determine what is and what is not “legal”…..in other words, they are acting outside their constitutional authority, and have been ever since the “progressive” mentality took hold in this former republic and destroyed the rule of law. The sensible thing to do is for each sovereign state to ignore their decisions and act in accordance with the interests of the citizens of each state. SCOTUS “decisions” are NOT the “law of the land”! They only impact the parties involved in the suit in question. Their is no requirement to obey the “precedents” set by these mostly inane decisions.

Recently, the Supreme Court has been doing a great job of ruling in favor of the U. S. Constitution and that is what they are supposed to do. However, with Biden in the White House and Congress allowing idiots like Katanji Brown on the Court, I worry about the future of the USA. ANY ONE who cannot define what is a woman or a man does not have the mental capacity to be making decisions on the Supreme Court. Brown’ s response to the question: “can you define what a woman is” should have disqualified her from any court; not just SCOTUS!

I paid my loans as did millions of others and I don’t want to pay someone else’s loans. They & their parents signed up for the loans and said they’d repay. Now do it. As noted in some of the selections to the poll, the court is currently conservative. While some on the court (i.e., Roberts, Kavanaugh) have made some poor decisions, what they decide is the law of the land. Packing the court with justices such as Jackson will dumb-down the court. The fact is, Jackson, Sotomayor, and Kagan are not qualified to be on the court. The only reasons they were selected is because of race and gender. By the way, can someone define what a women is?

Your wording on thr first option is incorrect. It has never been the job of the Supreme Court to “interpret” the Constitution. Their responsibility is to “apply” applicable law. If there is a question of interpretation, it is the responsibility of the legislative branch to clarify the law. The problem with the Supreme Court is same problem with the rest of the entire government anymore. They along with the House, Senate and the White House have become politicized and I believe allot of cases are driven by public opinion instead of the constitution. Just about all votes in the House and Senate are along party lines and for the most part the same is true for the Supreme Court. Justice is supposed to be blind but no matter what the level justices are said to be conservative or liberal based on who appointed them. And now after the last few decisions hand down we have justices on the court openly criticizing their fellow justices about the decisions. Stand by folks, our constitutional republic is falling as we speak and the sad thing is, at least half of the people in this country have no clue or couldn’t care less.

So far, the Conservative Justices have not been “bought off” with Soros (or other Dem donors) money. The current Supreme Court has two parts: Six justices who are trying in good faith to interpret the Constitution and the laws that Congress has passed, plus three justices who think their job is to promote political causes while ignoring the Constitution and the laws. Every once in a while, a case comes up that is politically neutral or where the correct legal interpretation happens to align with their political viewpoints. Then we get a 9-0 decision. Otherwise, it’s always going to be 6-3 or 5-4, with 3 of those opposing votes having nothing to do with the law. Those three justices aren’t acting as umpires — they’re acting as players on the Democrat team.
But the Democrats in the Senate and the bulk of the media think that all of the justices are politically motivated. They don’t read the Court’s decisions and consider whether that decision is legally correct. All they see is that the conservative justices voted as conservatives would vote. And as long as the laws and the Constitution remain fixed (i.e., conservative by definition), that slander will continue. The only remedy is better civics education for our children, so that a future generation returns to thinking of the Supreme Court as the umpire.

It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Morality and virtue are the foundation of our republic … The Supreme Court therefore must be filled with people of high moral character and virtue in order to function as intended… same with the Executive and Legislative branches, who nominate and appoint the judges of the court. Therefore those who are elected to the Executive and Legislative offices are the responsibility of the electorate… we must remember in this case that while we point one finger of blame and contempt at those holding office there are 1,2,3 fingers pointing back at ourselves… that electorate. While many of us may not have voted for those fools and useful idiots holding office today, we have allowed the degradation of society in other ways like what children are taught in schools, entitlement mentality and so much more to pollute the minds and craft the behavior of immortality and loss of virtue in society. The representative elected therefore and simply reflect the majority of the electorate.

There’s some truth in all of the poll selections and while I chose the first one, we must remember that the “supreme” court is only supreme in this mortal U.S. those who sit on the bench as well as those who fight to seat new members are human and have their own prejudices. It’s been so since the beginning otherwise rulings would stand “the test of time” and never get overturned nor would bad decisions ever come from the court. Not only can bad decisions come from the court, but bad choices of those who sit on the court have been made as well.
In the end, only God is the Supreme Judge.

However, the three female liberal minded justices desperately need to be burned at the stake. Congress was not instituted to pick and choose segments of our population. Giving preferences to one group at the expense of others is dirty politics. I fully support the recent decisions. (1) I attended college in the 1960’s. I could not have been able to do so without National Defense Student Loans. The amounted to about 40K in current dollars. My wife and I paid off every penny, within four years (while I was still in graduate school). I paid mine, I sure as “hello” don’t want to pay someone else’s. (2) I professed engineering for 35 years at a respected SEC university. I saw the impact of “affirmative action”. Many students admitted that way did not have the qualifications, and did not succeed. Others with the same backgrounds went first to community colleges to raise their skill levels, and were admitted without affirmative action. They succeeded. I always though it unfair that unqualified applicants (admitted through affirmative action) displaced higher qualified applicants. Finally, affirmative action helped create a bloated university administration, the cost of which was passed on to the students.
President Biden’s obvious mental decline shows itself at every public appearance. Our allies and our advisories can see he is a dottering, feeble minded old man. Meanwhile at home his big focus is to swindle the US Treasury by forgiving student loans by any method imaginable. Those loans were signed with a commitment to repay them. My view of SCOTUS? Nine pompous lawyers in black robes, any five of which, can determine what is and what is not “legal”…..in other words, they are acting outside their constitutional authority, and have been ever since the “progressive” mentality took hold in this former republic and destroyed the rule of law. While some on the court (i.e., Roberts, Kavanaugh) have made some poor decisions, what they decide is the law of the land. Packing the court with justices such as Jackson will dumb-down the court. The fact is, Jackson, Sotomayor, and Kagan are not qualified to be on the court. The only reasons they were selected is because of race and gender. By the way, can someone define what a women is?
Your wording on thr first option is incorrect. It has never been the job of the Supreme Court to “interpret” the Constitution. Their responsibility is to “apply” applicable law. If there is a question of interpretation, it is the responsibility of the legislative branch to clarify the law. The Supreme Court “interpreting” the law has caused many negative issues that we must deal with to this day.

The problem with the Supreme Court is same problem with the rest of the entire government anymore. They along with the House, Senate and the White House have become politicized and I believe allot of cases are driven by public opinion instead of the constitution. Just about all votes in the House and Senate are along party lines and for the most part the same is true for the Supreme Court. Justice is supposed to be blind but no matter what the level justices are said to be conservative or liberal based on who appointed them. And now after the last few decisions hand down we have justices on the court openly criticizing their fellow justices about the decisions. Stand by folks, our constitutional republic is falling as we speak and the sad thing is, at least half of the people in this country have no clue or couldn’t care less.
The Supreme Court is the only branch left that has not been corrupted by by the Communist Left. Therefore, the Leftists are working hard to denigrate and disparage the Conservative Justicez. So far, the Conservative Justices have not been “bought off” with Soros (or other Dem donors) money. Our Supreme Court is the last standing bastion of our Constitutional Republic, and if anyone has a doubt that the Executive and Congressional branches are corrupt, you haven’t been paying attention. Our Supreme Court and Justices must be protected at any cost. If we lose that branch, it’s “game over” for our Constitutional Republic.
The current Supreme Court has two parts: Six justices who are trying in good faith to interpret the Constitution and the laws that Congress has passed, plus three justices who think their job is to promote political causes while ignoring the Constitution and the laws. Every once in a while, a case comes up that is politically neutral or where the correct legal interpretation happens to align with their political viewpoints. Then we get a 9-0 decision. Otherwise, it’s always going to be 6-3 or 5-4, with 3 of those opposing votes having nothing to do with the law. Those three justices aren’t acting as umpires — they’re acting as players on the Democrat team.
But the Democrats in the Senate and the bulk of the media think that all of the justices are politically motivated. They don’t read the Court’s decisions and consider whether that decision is legally correct. All they see is that the conservative justices voted as conservatives would vote. And as long as the laws and the Constitution remain fixed (i.e., conservative by definition), that slander will continue. The only remedy is better civics education for our children, so that a future generation returns to thinking of the Supreme Court as the umpire.
One day we will wake up and this was only a dream that the United States has been taken over by the squeaky wheel. We need to have justices that read the constitution and give their collective opinion. Not what their opinion is according to the Wheel.

It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Morality and virtue are the foundation of our republic … The Supreme Court therefore must be filled with people of high moral character and virtue in order to function as intended… same with the Executive and Legislative branches, who nominate and appoint the judges of the court. Therefore those who are elected to the Executive and Legislative offices are the responsibility of the electorate… we must remember in this case that while we point one finger of blame and contempt at those holding office there are 1,2,3 fingers pointing back at ourselves… that electorate. While many of us may not have voted for those fools and useful idiots holding office today, we have allowed the degradation of society in other ways like what children are taught in schools, entitlement mentality and so much more to pollute the minds and craft the behavior of immortality and loss of virtue in society. The representative elected therefore and simply reflect the majority of the electorate.
There’s some truth in all of the poll selections and while I chose the first one, we must remember that the “supreme” court is only supreme in this mortal U.S. those who sit on the bench as well as those who fight to seat new members are human and have their own prejudices. It’s been so since the beginning otherwise rulings would stand “the test of time” and never get overturned nor would bad decisions ever come from the court. Not only can bad decisions come from the court, but bad choices of those who sit on the court have been made as well.

Attacks on the Supreme Court conservative members by those on the left is disgusting.
