President Trump fulfilled a campaign promise by relocating the American embassy in Israel to the city of Jerusalem. Do you think this was a good move by the President?

Long overdue strategic move. Israel is and has always been our only trustworthy ally in a powder keg of a region. Moving the embassy makes a powerful statement to the enemies of Israel and of freedom in general. We will not abandon our friends. Shalom Israel.

Why would anyone care if this antagonizes other nations in the Middle East?

Yes, the embassy moving to Jerusalem solidifies our relationship with Israel, while signaling to the Palestinians and the allies of Hamas that we stand behind our friends and will not be intimidated by their terrorist tactics.

President Trump is courageously fulfilling his promises, while putting on notice those who would harm our friends that, like his stance on Iran and North Korea, bullies and those who suppress the freedoms of their citizens will not gain America’s good will.

Like many other AMAC polls, these poorly conceived questions left me frustrated that I did not have any reasonable choices. If we choose to continue to be a “country of laws,” we must, as a society, enforce our existing laws or change them. Our U.S. Congress passed the Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995 with overwhelming majorities in both houses (which the cowardly Bill Clinton chose to let become law without his signature, even though he publically mouthed his support for moving the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem). President Trump was simply following the law, as he has in so many other cases, executing his constitutional responsibility…that’s the real story here and should have been the basis for one of the choices in the poll. What’s so hard about this?

The capital of Israel has been Jerusalem, for thousands of years and was chosen as such, by God. President Trump simply did the correct thing, once again, by moving our embassy there, for all the listed reasons, as well as fulfilling another campaign promise. When will AMAC learn that it’s ridiculous to offer 2 or more partially right, but incomplete answers? Just offer yes or no, as many will comment on why they chose their answer, anyway.

All of the above , now let’s move on to the hard ones . Get the penalty off of working people for Healthcare !! Strengthen the border and enforcement you build a wall they are just going to climb over it like the free press likes to show or they will continue to build tunnels . Anyone out there that can protect the school children , start putting these “mentally” sick ‘people in the ground this will definitely cure their illness .

I believe that the president although not an experienced politician, has exposed who truly runs the world. The CIA is the world’s head, the second in command is the DOJ. The secretary of state is the media. The Ambassadors are the FBI. The security forces are the IRS. the only news and information that we have is the constitution of 1776.

Now, can we cut off the money we give to the Hamas terrorists? Five hundred million dollars last year could have helped a lot of American veterans!

Israelites are God’s chosen people, when we fail to support them, we fail God. Jerusalem is Israel great city according to the Holy Bible, the city which Jesus will return to and make it the capital of the world. Way to go Mr. President.

Israel’s claim to Jerusalem as its capitol is vested in thousands of years of fact and tradition. Muslims’ claims are based upon recent conquests and the cynical intentions and dreams of a militaristic fanatic whose primary goal was to discredit and displace the People of the Book. Kinda like other members of the animal kingdom who attempt to establish primacy by marking their territory with their fecal matter and urine.

President Trump is the first president with the “guts” to follow the law that was actually passed (overwhelmingly with support from both political parties) over 20 years ago. Another one of his promises kept as he continues to MAGA!!

I’m glad to see our embassy move to the city that the Israeli government calls home. The only thing that Hamas and the Palestinians do well is destroying everything they get their hands on.

It’s not just the right political move with our Mid eastern ally, it is also a premptive move for the days before the Lord Jesus comes back to earth. Jerusalem will be his command center for judging the earth.

Halleluia! I praise God for this joyful day. Finally America has kept a promise to Israel that is long overdo! And on Israel’s 70th Anniversary making this of historic proportion! I am ecstatic! Now the enemies of Israel are truly the enemies of America! Israel is the apple of God’s eye and God will bless those who are aligned with Israel and Jerusalem as Israel’s Capitol! President Trump’s courage is contagious!

Only a fool would lose sleep over the risk of “antagonizing” the enemy. And, yes– any “nation” not on board with Israel’s statehood would qualifiy as an “enemy.”

Alas! The Palestinians and ISIS might no longer love us! We might even lose the loyal support of the Taliban! SO WHAT WILL CHANGE??? ;>) They succeeded for years delaying this move by threats and intimidation. That doesn’t work any more.

This was LONG overdue. We should stop worrying about the “Palestinians”. I put that in parantheses because everybody always forgets that Israelis are Palestinians too. Those arabs that live in Israel have it much better than those who live in the “refugee” camps. That’s because all the money that comes in goes to the “leaders” and the soldiers and to buy arms and ammo on the black market. They were offered everything they were asking for during the Clinton Administration and they turned it down and moved the goal posts and demanded more. We should just cut off all the aid. Maybe if they get hungry enough, they will overthrow their “leaders” and make peace. Naw, never gonna happen.
