J.D. Vance is the epitome of rising from the ashes of adversity and thriving against all odds. Vance shared who he is long before stepping into the political arena through his book/movie “Hillbilly Elegy.”

Very good choice. I saw a disgusting biden ad where a father abused his daughter and at the age of 12 she became pregnant. Now the ad claims that Trump & Vance will stop people like her from murdering their baby. She had been abused since the age of 9 and 3 years later became pregnant? If this is true I hope the father spends the rest of his life in jail, and if there is a mother, she doe also. But the ad makes it sound like it’s Trump & Vance’s fault. Like I said, disgusting!

Very good choice and so much better than Pence in every way. I find it very interesting that Democrats and the panel of so called Commentators at the Convention kept on saying that they hoped the attempt on Trump’s life would have toned down some of his fiery rhetoric. Yet while he was giving his acceptance speech, the Democrats were putting out some of the most disgusting ads I have ever seen. And then Lester Holt and the people in the booth were criticizing Trump for pointing out that he had been the main target of hate by the Democrats for the past 10 years. No other President in the history of the United States has ever had to endure the wrath of the Democrats like Trump did with repeated Impeachments, attacks from all sides including his term in the White House and in the years since. The Democrats have demonstrated a wild, consuming hatred for one man that has become an obsession before, during and after his time in office. At this point I would suggest a group session for anger management for the whole bunch in the House and the Senate.

Of the three finalists, Vance was the best choice to improve the odds of President Trump being reelected.
While I usually prefer governors as VP runningmates, other than Arkansas Governor Sanders, this year’s choices of governors were surprisingly thin.
Will Vance make a good presidential candidate in 2028 ? Who knows, but he is about to have a four year audition for the job if President Trump will give him something significant to manage (like perhaps our southern border/immigration mess).

When he ended his Presidential Campaign he wholeheartedly went to work for Trump. Trump hauled him out several times with glowing smiles on his face. He is acutely bright and extremely well spoken. Trumps pick was researched and Im sure discussed with his inner circle, with the final decision was his. His background to me is exactly what’s needed for Trump and politicians in general. I’m raising my three grandchildren by choice and they learn what we did from our parent. He has a great moral base supplied by his grandmother and see how she managed to raise him with help from the system (as it was designed to assist Americans)
He’s a Marine which having dealt with service vets in real life (not all) makes him a step up a in reliability and again the mind set to stay the course and focus on the mission at hand. Not to mention loyalty.
Using the GI Bill he obtained a Yale Law Degree and met his wife. She has given him a moral compass, that I believe is had guided American families to where they were. We still see in families whose parents instilled this in their upbringing which is waining with each generation. His focus on his wife and children is evident. As stated by Mist Carter his support/intro of Bills that allow America to return to Government by the people and for the people.
I’m already at the point of losing your attention so he is the best choice of many good choices Trump has had.Not like other Presidents who chose for political reasons or donor support.

Good pick, I was hoping hr or Vivek or Byron Donalds. Vance will help with some undecideds and can help in the rust belt. Vivek is still a little polarizing mostly because he doesn’t pull punches, which is one of the things I really admire about him. Byron is erudite and highly intelligent. I knew nothing about Vance until he was selected, and had some reservatios until I learned Vance’s life growing up mimics my own perfectly except the parental addiction was alcohol and I enlisted in the army vs. Marines. In my case, also, my maternal grandmother was a significant factor and some say say the success of my 57 years of marriage was that I “married my grandmother” as people used to say about marriages. Like Vance, nothing was given to me, I worked from 10 years of age with a paper route until I retired with 47 years exerience as an engineer with an advanced degree. I repaid not ony my own college loan, but my two childrens’ also and never even thought about loan forgiveness. All without a father at home from four years of age, so I have ZERO PATIENCE with people who claim a fatherless home was the reason they failed in life. Its nothing but a cop-out as those who want to do well and are not lazy & undisciplined have every opportunity in this country. All to reinforce why Vance was my “perfect choice” for the obvious reaons, plus he brings youth, intelligence, a beautiful, professional & cultured wife, young children and the opportunity to be the best Presidential candidate in 4 years the Republicans have put forward in a long time.

I would have rather had A Grandfather & Granddaughter ticket with Kai Trump as VP, she has a very strong presence, I think a force to reckon with in years to come! But alas you have the 35 year old minimum age when taking office rule, too bad she has more wisdom at 17 than biden at 81!

Good pick, I was hoping hr or Vivek or Byron Donalds. Vance will help with some undecideds and can help in the rust belt. Vivek is still a little polarizing mostly because he doesn’t pull punches, which is one of the things I really admire about him. Byron is erudite and highly intelligent. I think there may be cabinet positions for both of them. I would love to see Vivek take over the DOJ and clean it and all it’s corrupt departments up.

* let states settle education. Example: put all funds for education going to the national into to salaries
* no longer build schools to some ones ego. Build them for the age lump in the hose as they push thru the schools. Meaning grade school thru high school
* let states settle abortion
* ask all dept. heads to cut budget by 10% without cutting services or improvement. Just fire all dead weight.
* after 6 years staff MUST move to another agency and interview for that job. This will get rid of all dead wood for the other dept. Will not have to hire them
*Hire only prior business man as heads. They know what it means to perform.

I don’t completely trust him. Kudos on his rise from adversity, but look closely at who sponsored him from college on….Peter Thiel, a globalist and purveyor of all things “surveillance”. We may have 4 good years with Trump keeping him in line but that’s it. Watch for a return to todays mess in 2028 and beyond. The only reservation I have about JD Vance is that he was once a Never Trumper, will he become another VP Pence or will he remain loyal, that is the question!

i have doubts about Vance because of his investments in gene editing company and the fact that he was pushing the covid shot which is not a vaccine and has caused many people to die and have long term problems. It is an experimental shot and many people trusted our corrupt CDC and FDA and are now suffering from it.
Considering his past, his education, his financial benefactors and very recent conservative conversion, I have deep reservations but am hoping for the best.

I knew nothing about Vance until he was selected, and had some reservatios until I learned Vance’s life growing up mimics my own perfectly except the parental addiction was alcohol and I enlisted in the army vs. Marines. In my case, also, my maternal grandmother was a significant factor and some say say the success of my 57 years of marriage was that I “married my grandmother” as people used to say about marriages. Like Vance, nothing was given to me, I worked from 10 years of age with a paper route until I retired with 47 years exerience as an engineer with an advanced degree. I repaid not ony my own college loan, but my two childrens’ also and never even thought about loan forgiveness. All without a father at home from four years of age, so I have ZERO PATIENCE with people who claim a fatherless home was the reason they failed in life. Its nothing but a cop-out as those who want to do well and are not lazy & undisciplined have every opportunity in this country. All to reinforce why Vance was my “perfect choice” for the obvious reaons, plus he brings youth, intelligence, a beautiful, professional & cultured wife, young children and the opportunity to be the best Presidential candidate in 4 years the Republicans have put forward in a long time.

I think that people sometimes just go along with the masses without really taking the time to thoroughly research beyond Wikipedia and do some critical thinking. I challenge you to find our how Vance made his money….are there any deep state associations? Did you know that his wife does not hold the same values that he does? Do you think that a couple is influenced by the spouse? I don’t always understand why President Trump makes these choices. Pence was not a good guy either. Perhaps he is still in the process of exposing the bad guys! Your thoughts?

I am currently ambivalent due to his prior remarks regarding President Trump. He has also not justified or explained or apologized for voicing them. I hope he is not the type of person that stands with whatever is popular at the moment. It takes a person strong in their convictions for leadership. A person can change but I would like to understand why and how that occurs.

Those on the ‘right’ side of politics seem to have a large problem with The Next Best Thing. Of course most have some knowledge of JD Vance’s background, it’s been pushed in our faces enough, but ones due diligence requires you to look closer at a candidate for office than is put before your eyes.

I support Pres. Trump, and this is his choice for many reasons, all I’m trying to communicate though is that he bares close watching. We don’t need manipulative and backstabbing repeats like we received with Reagan (Bush Sr.) Trump (Pence) and now what this looks to be.

I think Mr Vance is a good choice. He checks all the right boxes. I just don’t think he brings anything more to the ticket from a voter perspective. He doesn’t bring in a new voter block. I would rather Mr Trump had picked Tulsi Gabbard. She ticks many of the same boxes as JD but she also was a democrat so it shows to independents that Trump is OK. She’s also a woman so for those people from whom identity politics is important its another outreach.
Having said that, JD is a good choice and Trump – Vance will get my vote

I never vote for baby-killing democrats, and i’m pissed that Trump and Vance are soft on killing babies, and all you that say “Oh, but you’re not voting for a pastor” or anything like that, stick it.
