Do you support the proclamation President Trump recently signed that will send National Guard troops to the United States’ border with Mexico?

Barack Obama had a OPEN BORDER POLICY we have over 30 MILLION ILLEGALS hiding like cockroaches in America NOW. Obama allowed 40 to 50 IRANIANS into America every year UNVETTED there are now finding terrorist camps that train the children to KILL Americans. Over 300,000 Asians from China to come here to our schools and take our technology back to China. Now the Democrats are protesting to ABOLISH ICE, this law enforcement is the only way to find ILLEGALS and DEPORT them. So many over paid advocates and attorneys pushing a money grab are defending ILLEGALS, Obama with his illegal executive order bring 800,000 ILEGALS here for FREE shelter, food, education and medical that costs $50,000. a yr for EACH family. All this off the backs of working Americans, even in the down economy of OBAMA SHAME on him, worst President in American history giving our country away. Finally our President Trump has made our Veterans and Seniors a priority! DEPORT ALL THE ILLEGALS AND BUILD THE WALL. American Patriots are TIRED of FREELOADERS.

No borders, no sovereignty. National Guard needs to be armed with loaded weapons due to possible intervention with drug gangs. If you are going to send the National Guard you can’t send them with empty weapons. You might as well send them with ball bats. We need to get serious about this border security.

yes I most certainly do, what is coming across the border illegally could and probably does impose as big a threat as any enemy that the U.S. is in conflict with.

Mexico is in reality a hostile nation. Their actions in the past; 1. Telling people how to cross the boarder. 2. Telling people how to avoid ICE. 3. Supporting the smuggling of drugs and people into the United States. There is much more but do not have the time. The Army and Marines should be going not the National Guard.
The hostile actions of the Mexican Government is enough to justify this action for our Constitution.

US military controlled Mexican Border for 150 years (+) only military has credibility against hostile foreigners; eg., grant authorized Ranald McKenzie, Wilson authorized Pershing to conduct cross border operations.

We must stop All Illegal Aliens from crossing our BORDERS no matter what country they are from. Also we must stop the Influx of Illegal Drugs which are KILLING our Citizens. We must also investigate the Relationship between Progressive Democrats, RINOS and Drug Cartels that are Funneling money to Campaigns for office.

It would do a great deal of good to stop treating this as a law enforcement issue. This is an invasion. Order the military to stop the invasion. IF you don’t, it will never end. I think it is called “a clear and present danger”.

Not sure why the National Guard was selected. I would like to see the President send one full Infantry Division (that’s about 20,000 troops) to be fully supported by the whatever corps supports the southwest these days (used to be 4th Corps).

To my knowledge, we are one of the few countries with relatively open borders. This has allowed a flow of illegal immigrants including many criminals, as well as ungodly amounys of drugs and other contraband to enter this country.

We send our troops all over the world to protect other country’s borders. Why should we expect anything less for our own country? We’ve been allowing this invasion way too long already!!!

I hate polls…YES, the President’s actions are often hasty, not well conceived or thought-through, but it is one of the President’s described duties to ensure national security, which of course must mean protecting and securing our national borders. So in this instance, I agree with his decision. Hopefully, as mentioned earlier, the NG will have an active role in patrolling and stopping incursions. We have plenty of technology to aid them, and the NG will be somewhat less influenced by border politics i.e., catch & release policies, than Immigration the Border Patrol leadership is

Projecting this debate as one about illegal immigration only is a huge disservice to the American people as well as our national security. The biggest issue of all regarding border security is stopping the heinous crimes of drug and human trafficking across our border. The secondary issue is preventing really bad people such as possible jihadists from infiltrating. The third is illegal immigration and curbing the billions of dollars spent annually supporting people in the country illegally. But the first issue mentioned above should be all that’s needed to support sealing our border by the most effective means possible regardless of who pays for it although all three are valid arguments. I do think the military must have the authorization to do what is required and not be handcuffed. We should never engage in nothing but a show of force but must engage in serious law enforcement.

It’s about time we, as a nation, come to grips with the reality that there are people without and within that hate us and desire nothing less than to destroy us by what ever means. I don’t like having to be looking over my shoulder and being on such an elevated alert level constantly. I know our founding fathers were very suspicious of a standing army because they could be looking into the country just as easily as out from the country. Giving up freedom for safety and security will not be successful. We will loose everything. I’m concerned that we have lost the war already. Now, the court says, our Constitution grants rights and protections to people that were not born here, don’t live here and aren’t here yet but headed for the border. So, if we use the NG to stop them from coming in we will be violating their Constitutional rights, privileges and protections (girls that want to come to the USA for an abortion you get to pay for). We are living in the coo coo nest.

A nation without borders very quickly ceases to be a nation. The President has a responsibility, above all others, to protect our borders from all enemies both foreign and domestic. The State of Israel uses it’s military to protect it’s borders. Given Congressional Democrat’s shameful obstructionism, the President should………and is using military action.

While I support the action, it is important that this NOT be a repeat of what happened when the NG was deployed to the border under both Bush and Obama. In both those cases, the NG was essentially limited to watching monitors and administrative work in offices. I don’t think that is what the American people want this time around. I believe most people expect the NG will provide more of an active deterent to the flow of illegals streaming across our borders than filing papers and watching video monitors back at the border command centers. Something more than just escorting those detained to awaiting buses for a quick trip to a detention center. Then a quick appearance before a judge and being released with a court date in 12 to 18 months, that they rarely show up for. That just gives the Democrats exactly what they want, more illegals to vote Democrat in the next election in exchange for the promise of lots of freebies we American taxpayers actually pay for.

The most credible deterent to slowing or stopping the flow of illegals across our borders, when using the NG, is when these illegals see lots of armed soldiers standing in their way. It also sends one he** of a message to other illegals planning to invade our country for a lifetime of being supported by the American taxpayer. Just a thought. Enjoy the weekend.
