Nothing actually keeps me awake at night. If it did, it would be this entire administration. A president who supposedly the most powerful person in the world and can’t speak without staring and squinting at a teleprompter, a vp (lowercase), in charge of the border and never went there, a secretary of homeland security who keeps lying about the security of the border, a party that doesn’t care about us or our Constitution. It’s time folks to take our country back and put some people in charge that cares about our country, us, make us strong again and respected by the world.

The root cause of the majority of our nation’s woes stem from evil. The sad thing is that more and more Americans are succumbing to its lure, sometimes innocently. The main culprit amplifying its spread is the left-wing, socialist media. The problem is that America has turned its back on God.

For me, I can sleep at night knowing that my faith lies in Christ. Yet, the destruction of our nation prompts me to vent through sharing truth with all. That is why I write for SubStack, and have authored three books since this current administration started in 2021. The following is an excerpt from my first book from 2021, which addresses this week’s poll:

_____________________________________________________________________

Over the years, socialism has ebbed and flowed into the economic, social, and political arenas of many nations, including the United States. The wide array of interpretations and definitions of socialism across the political spectrum, and the lack of a common understanding of what socialism is or how it looks in practice reflects its complicated evolution.  Nonetheless, socialist parties and ideas continue to influence policy in nations around the world.  And socialism’s persistence speaks to the enduring appeal of calling for a more egalitarian society.

Socialism, which is steeped in evil, is a penetrating disease.  It is quiet and deadly.  It offers much and delivers almost nothing except extensive government ownership and control of the economy. Just prior to the election in 2016, the move to turn up the gas, so to speak, on methods and propaganda to put socialism on stage has escalated. This planned takeover for America is infiltrating every aspect of our society; religion, education, politics, economics, family, morality etc.

We see a concerted effort in government, in education, in the media, and in virtually every other institution of society, to subvert the moral foundations upon which our nation was founded. The basic principles of reverence for God and respect for God’s moral laws, are under relentless attack by those who reject God, and any kind of moral absolute whatsoever.

It should be noted that Karl Marx, who is closely identified with the concept and ideology of socialism, was an atheist. At its core, Socialist philosophy is atheistic and anti-family. According to socialist ideology, basic social structures like the church and the family are oppressive and need to be abolished. America was founded on freedom and the right of every individual to pursue their own dreams.  Socialism, by contrast, results in everyone experiencing the same nightmare, and makes everyone into a slave of the state.

The American Left is the driving force behind socialism in America.  Let’s be clear: Socialism is anti-American. The Founding Fathers did not give us a socialist state; they gave us a Representative Republic.  America is not a Democracy, as you may have been taught in school. America is a Representative Republic.

God Bless America!

Our country has been undergoing a full scale invasion of illegal aliens starting on day one. This is because of the globalist elites plan to overthrow our constitution and our republic. We have a handful of American patriots in our government.! I feel nothing can stop it but sealing borders with military, mass deportation and 3 to 5 years of no immigration. Trump stood in the way of this elitist plan and boy they are hammering him for it.

These survey questions don’t keep me up at night, but it pisses me off that we’ve had the house for 3 years and have done pretty much squat!
And now you have Johnson caving in for an omnibus package worse than McCarthy for crying out loud! I think the house should’ve stuck to their guns and shut the government down if they (dems) don’t agree to fix the border!
I’m sick of these freaking RINO’s!!!

Nothing really keeps me from sleeping because my faith is in Jesus, but our nation has many problems. You could check almost any of the options and you wouldn’t be wrong. Our nation has rejected God and evil is now the norm. I chose the education problem because we are now in the 2nd generation of students who are being trained to hate the constitution and what the USA has always stood for.

I don’t lose any sleep over anything because I trust God to take care of all. I don’t look forward to suffering but if we don’t turn back to God as a country and a people we will have to suffer the consequences. Our country has turned away from and forgotten who is really in charge, God, our Creator and Savior. Even our President has forgotten this. Until we return to “One nation under God” things will not improve.
Please, Lord, help us…

I would add a third, that half the country are mindless robots who believe that socialism will bring utopia when fully implemented. I include here both welfare parasites as well as country club communists who imagine being part of a permanent upper class , able to keep their assets and class status in a future ‘heaven on earth’.

Being a Gulf War Veteran and still clearly remembering 9-11 one of my largest concerns is not just the illegal immigrants crossing our Southern border as much as “who” these People are. We have millions of unvetted people pouring across our borders. It’s not as much “if” there will be another major Terrorist attack in our Country as it is “when”! I feel the threat is imminent. Watching what’s going on and the timeline I’d be willing to bet we have an event before the Presidential election. Other adversarial countries in this world do not want to see strong leadership in Washington. Sadly I wouldn’t be at all surprised if some of the leaders in this Country know and have planned for an event to happen. This election will not see the mass “manipulation” of votes as seen in the last. Too many people are wise to “the game” this time. It would not at all surprise me if a major event occured and for martial law to be declared so that the powers that be remain in power. Just my opinion…

I think that you should have only had two options in this poll. 1.All the things listed or 2 sleep soundly. Each one is concerning enough that if you have half a brain you should be worried! Currently we have a government that is looting the treasury with the Ukraine money laundering and they refuse to close the border or even try to do anything. ALL of them are complicit in the destruction of our country!

Our country is upside-down. We have a so called president who spews unification, but alienates over half the country with his MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY brain dead rhetoric. He and his administration have no clue what they are doing, and continue to push against any common sense factors to clean this mess up. It is a bad comedy act, with no solution, other than blaming it on anyone who disagrees with them. History will not be kind to this jerk-off, and this to will pass for better or worse. I have no problem sleeping at night, other than what Dave mentioned about adult plumbing problems. I am 78, have outlived my entire family, and have no regrets other than the mess this administration has created, and feel sorry for all my children and grandchildren who will have to endure this mess if we don’t wake up and re claim our country.

Obviously, there are numerous issues of concern to me. The debt is going to destroy this country at some point. It may be sooner rather than later. The push by some to go easy on law breakers and hard on law abiders is almost Fascist. Those in and out of government that are 100% believers in climate control is akin to a cult or religion. I have worked hard all of my 70+ years to care for the environment, but they are off the rails. It is all about getting and keeping power over the regular person. DEI and all of the other alphabet programs are as well. Our bureaucracy is too large. It could easily be cut in half (over time). Many politicians are trying to destroy our Judaeo-Christian underpinnings. Even an atheists should desire the fairness and strength that gives to our country. And we have seen since the pandemic the rot that exists in many of our colleges. Absolutely no federal money should go to colleges anymore. And no student loan forgiveness..

So much of what we are worried about stems from the awful leadership of the frightfully incompetent political leaders–idealogues on the democrat side and spinelessness from republicans. Perhaps the founding fathersmissed the woeful ignorance of the electorate. We’ve done this to ourselves.

I don’t know who comes up with these polls, but they all seem to miss the mark. I sleep pretty well usually, but the corruption, fraud, and evil in this world is getting to a point of being overwhelming. It’s not just one or two things. It affects everything in our world today. And it all boils down to people. This world needs God, but the majority of the people do not see it and reject Him. That is troubling to me. Our nation, and this world will pay a heavy price for their idolatry and sinfulness. And whether you believe it or not, you and your family will be deeply affected by it.

President fails to enforce law and then only selectively. How can he flout law to aid illegal invasion by lawbreaking aliens? Why do we have no recourse other than an election every four years from this premeditated lawbreaking? Lax law enforcement in the highest office encourages law breaking everywhere. Stop him & all failing to uphold our rule of law!

The whole government is corrupt and godless. The Biden family has sold us out. Our tax money is spent trying to destroy each other and punish opponents a buy votes by paying people with debt relief when it is in total debt. The media only interviews those on its side of the lies. Immigrants have more rights than citizens. We worked hard and saved for retirement and now the government is stealing it for their own pockets. My husband lost his job because of vaccine mandates but the vaccine would have killed him with blood clots. The health profession is not to be trusted now as it just promotes Big Pharma and has no solutions. BUT I may have to live in this kingdom for now run by the evil Prince Satan however, Jesus has already said “I have overcome the world”. We have a hope beyond all that is happening here and it is not in the World powers . Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord !!

Moral decline from Biblical values. All other problems stem from a rejection of Gods word. Mans way of making proper decisions apart from the Bible is ……….well just look around you in the USA alone compared to the not too recent past. The poll list of problems that AMAC listed are a good example of where we are today.

I think the options were too narrow. For example, I’m worried about the presidential election, but my concern has nothing to do with division.
I’m concerned about political persecution and power-tripping evil people (politicians, beaurucrats, lying media, etc).
What keeps me up at night is knowing that our government is full of evil and we’re so far from our founders’ institution and slipping fast into communism.
We need to be praying daily against these evil powers.

If I could choose a third dire concern of mine it would be the failure of the American education system to teach our children how to think objectively, to research on their own, to develop a desire to learn. They are influenced by social media controlled by foreign influencers intent on destroying America. They are influenced by consumerism. They neglect their own personal health, physical, and academic development. They have low expectations for themselves and the American education system has lowered expectations for them. Competition and challenge are considered dirty words. DEI has replaced initiative, personal responsibility for one’s actions, pride in America. I chose immigration (our lack of a defensible national border) and our $32 trillion national debt as my concerns #1 and #2 – because until these issues are addressed there will be no America worth saving for America’s children.

Actually nothing keeps me up at night.
At 84 I am very blessed to be as happy and healthy as I am.
With that said I do worry daily about my grandchildren and their future, it certainly looks bad to say the least. What kind of country will they be living in, that’s the question.
Hopefully our next election if it is not corrupted by the left will start turning this big ship around. This has been a long process to get us to this point and it will take more than one election to get us back on track. Again with God’s help and the great people of this country it might be possible. God bless us

Immigration, I believe, is the set up for taking down America. It may be by economic means, terrorism, or violent overthrow by illegals from counties that hate us. The other issues mentioned don’t matter if I am correct about immigration.

I reluctantly voted for number one but not for the reason given. To any leftist, the ends really do justify the means. They will cheat to get the result they want and have done it before. No nation dependent on democratic elections will survive if the public cannot accept election results as honest. 2020 was the least honest election in my 80 years and this year may be worse. Every thing listed on this poll (except the last) was major and deserved a vote, but today, right now, election integrity tops my list. Not because of more divisiveness but because honest elections are crucial.

I’m surprised you did not list our federal government as a problem. Congress has become totally useless, both parties appear more concerned with launching frivolous investigations than passing needed legislation.  Greed appears to be the driving factor of our politicians. How does a member of congress making $174K annual become a millionaire in only a few years?
This week we again learned how our government has weaponized our system: asking banks to provide details on individuals, without cause or a warrant, that fit a select criteria like shopping at bass Pro Shops or having religious affiliation.
It was said that you cannot trust the government, now we actually have to fear the government and possible reprisal because of where we shop.

The real issues are the myriad number of problems, that when combined, are contributing to the economic, educational, health, drug, and moral problems we as a nation are experiencing. Our elected leaders are failing us, the nation is divided and in turmoil, the costs of living are exponentially rising, and the globalists are establishing their facist/marxist future to enslave all of us. Over 100,000 Americans are dying each year from the illegal drugs imported (think about that when looking at wars we’ve fought in comparison). Diseases are being introduced at alarming rates through the illegal alien invasion along with a non-sustainable support to house, feed, clothe, educate, and provide healthcare for them. Moreover, our own citizens who have need are being excluded, cast out, and not provided for all to provide for illegals who have violated our sovereignty and are criminals – (all looking for a better life and not fleeing oppression?). Our elected leaders are looking for us, as tax payers, to pay for all this. Our laws are not being enforced. Protestors who burn federal buildings are let loose while protestors who stand for constitutional law are held without trial for years. Felony criminals are being set free after committing crimes in the name of humanity to continue committing crimes. Parents who attend and speak at school board meetings are investigated by the FBI and even now Christians and just using the term MAGA or Trump will get you placed on a watch list! The rich like Hunter Biden are not prosecuted while the non-rich criminals receive higher incarcerations and fines. Our elected officials make promises they don’t keep, violate thier oathes, and are more concerned with their own income at the expense of the citizens they claim to support. Our military can nolonger sustain action in two conflicts as required by law and doctrine but can only barely sustain action for one conflict. That same military now doesn’t have the parts to maintain our aging equipment and it’s leaders are more concerned with the racist “DEI” implementation to brainwash our enlistees. Our national enemies nolonger fear us but are moving to surround and attack us as they snear at our nation’s current political and military postures. Additionally, our enemies are now outpacing us in weapons and conflict technologies. We are to reliant on foreign imports and are now at their mercy. How much longer until we become a third world nation and economy subject to whims they will bury us with?

One very troubling thing that’s never mentioned correctly is that poll after poll on the performance of this administration shows approval numbers in the 33-44% range. Now, while the bloggers and news programs crow that those are historically bad numbers, esp. for an incumbent seeking reelection, they fail to recognize that 1/3 or more believe the Progressive-Socialists are doing a fine job as they proceed to destroy the nation. That makes my jaw drop, and is at the core of why we are in the trouble we’re in.

Wakefulness due to our president, elected officials and public service not being held accountable for not performing their duties and upholding our existing laws. God has been kicked to the curb. The constant bombardment of the LGBT ideology into every aspect of our lives, plus the “right” to kill our children in the womb, are issues that cause me the greatest sadness. I am surprised that the growing power grab over governments of the world by the UN, WHO, WEF, Climate change influencers, and other powerful wealthy individuals such as Bill Gates and George Soros were not on your list. They are behind almost everything and their design is a one world government. The stage is being rapidly set for the fulfillment of the book of Revelation. If you don’t know the author – I don’t know how anyone would be able to sleep at all. Psalm 4:8 “In peace I lay down to sleep, for you alone Lord make me dwell in safety.” Get ready.
