Over a dozen business executives have backed CEO Bill Ackman’s call to not hire Harvard students who signed a letter blaming Israel for the Hamas attack. Select no more than two with which you most agree.

Colleges and universities (especially the “elite” ones) are nothing but incubators of wokeism, socialism, bigotry, antisemitism, and all other ideological bullsh*t. They are full of hypocrisy, especially when banning speakers that don’t share their insane beliefs, as well as having their DEI offices fueling hostility toward Jewish students.

STOP FEDERAL FUNDING (our tax dollars) for colleges/universities! In 2021 it was reported that 720 institutions have an average endowment of $1.1 billion, with Harvard’s being $53 billion. From 2016 – 2021, Harvard received $22.2 million from tax-payers. The truth is that federal funding is highly likely a means to force compliance from those receiving the financial aid.

So, if students want to pay outrageous tuitions, (in hopes that we the people will cover their student loans) and drink the Kool-Aid being served, it is up to CEOs to decide who they want in their workforce and take a risk that the consumer won’t “bud light” them as a result of hiring people who support terrorist atrocities.

Our education system is a joke. Years ago, schools stopped teaching cursive writing, and now these students cannot sign their name on any legal documents. Need to stop the indoctrination of students and go back to teaching the basics: reading, writing and arithmetic. Math, history and science being very important.

This isn’t one of those knee-jerk “Left” versus “Right” issues. There are likely many more Harvard students supporting Israel than are supporting Hamas.

In any case, the idiots who signed the petition blaming Israel for the attack clearly don’t understand that there is never any excuse for terrorism EVER. Maybe the business community will teach these students this valuable lesson.

Our university system has been a joke since the mid 60’s and has allowed this dialogue to spread and destroy our country. The majority of professors teaching in colleges push these ideas and it flourishes in the minds of our college youth. The democrats have capitalized on this for decades, and Mark Levins’ book, “Why Democrats Hate America”, covers it in depth. Democrats love to give impression they care about all people, when in fact, they hate anyone who doesn’t think their way or take their position. I hope Israel does what they have to do to secure their country and eliminate the cancer of Iran backed Hamas. Biden talks a big game but does nothing to stop them. God is watching this play out, as he gave us all free will, so how will the world use it ?

Prime example of how these institutions of higher learning (supposedly) are brainwashing our kids. Donors who haven’t been brain trained by their school take note, that’s where you get their attention and maybe some new administrators.

The problem with these supposed bastions of higher learning is that they may teach some facts (if they even get those right) but, just like our present corrupt political administration there is no wisdom, without wisdom it is all pointless.

I think, ja, I think, businesses should stop requiring a degree for hiring. Tesla is a prime example. If you can do the job, even though you don’t have a piece of paper, you are hired.
I have a nephew, who started a job as a programmer right out of highschool, now that is another can of worms, but he received a Christian education, not a Secular Humanist. He worked on his degree while working in the field.

I talked my son-in-law into applying at Tesla as a service technician, no degree. He has a couple of certificates, but not a degree, but a butt load of real world experience directly applicable to Tesla’s needs. They are seriously considering hiring him, and not at entry level either.

There are a couple of problems here. First, if the Federal Government wants to control what’s taught in our K-12 grades, why can’t they do the same for colleges and universities – neither situation should exist. It shoould be left to the communities to determine curriculum. The curriculum at some of these places won’t make it easy for students to either improve their thinking or thought processes or to get a job that will support them. The cost of tuition is too high no matter what is or is not being taught. Indoctrinators (I will not grace them with the name Professor because they are not) don’t teach basic civics or anything about honoring the country, and they certainly don’t teach common sense. AND if these demonstrating students are here on a visa or getting federal funding – kick them out of college and the country if they aren’t citizens. That’ll stop them quickly and help Americans pay for groceries with the savings on college payments.

I’m surprised at how many people are shocked to see that the Democrat Party is the party of antisemitism, racism and hate. Conservatives have been aware of this since forever. Remember…if Democrats are accusing you of something rest assured they are doing it themselves.

The entire system of education needs to be cleansed of the ideologues who seem to feel their mission is to eradicate the very ideas which gave them the freedom to spew their garbage and allows them to brainwash the students they are entrusted to teach. K-12 and beyond need to be scrapped. Let the campuses become homeless shelters. They are pretty much useless anyway.

Yes, the problem is huge, but we have to start somewhere to hold the people and institutions propagating and promoting these un-American and vile sentiments to account. I very much applaud these CEO’s for standing up for what is right. I hope that more will follow suit.
All Americans in every walk, of every religion, no matter their race, color or creed, should stand up as well because being American trumps all this other identity junk. Unfortunately it appears many have lost their integrity. Even so, those of us who still have it are actually more and could actually take this nation back if we chose to stand up and stand together. . . and quit being complacent.

Our education system needs to be purged of left wing administrators, professors, teachers…everyone who has contact with our children. Our schools have become liberal indoctrination facilities. They will be the death of our Republic if allowed to continue corrupting young minds. No government funds until they balance their staff with traditional constitutional supporting individuals.

You know, if we, the people (excluding our so called representatives in Congress) are in charge of our country why do we have to co-tow to these “elites?” Why do we have to wait four years to remove a President, why can’t we remove a speaker of the House, if these people need to go. It is clear by the recent “regime” that things are not being done with our best interests in mind so, what do we do, just sit back and watch the “fake news” about how great things are going? Why can the House air their grievances with proposed candidates for Speaker behind “closed doors?” Shouldn’t all of this be transparent? And shouldn’t all of it be televised. Why can the so-called democrat’s keep getting away with loading bills with all sorts of pork, etc. so that we, the people will get the scraps of their proposed “deal” like in the Inflation Reduction Act (which is actually a misnomer by 180 degrees).

How many of you remember that the “Ivy League” universities were founded by strong Christians? & look at the cities mentioned “prominently” in The Bible, like Thessalonica, Rome, Corinth, Ephesus, Galatia, Laodicea, Philadelphia, etc. We need to re-take “grounds” that once were God’s: take them back from darkness-devils! #1 prayer; especially for those of us who don’t travel much. We could also support ministries who work to “bring in the sheaves” from everywhere.

Colleges/universities have been pushing the left point of view for years and those students are teaching younger children and turning them into extreme liberals. The real problem is that we as a nation have starting 50 +- years ago collectively thumbed our nose at God. The left is attacking real values like the sanctity of life etc. and the right by not voting, by acting as if it would not affect them so why worry and other nonchalant thinking. We better turn back to GOD and start caring and acting like we care or our grandchildren and beyond will be living in a socialist state.

Big donors are starting to realize that their money has been used to poison the minds of children so they’re pulling back on donations. We also need to remove the foreign exchange students from our schools that are from countries that actively hate America. Another good idea would be to make it illegal for foreign countries to buy academic ‘chairs’ at our colleges & universities (such as the Confucius Chairs and the Saudi Arabian chairs). Maybe, too, we need to start taxing the massive endowments that lots of these ‘elite’ universities have. That money could be used to pay off the absurd tuition debt that they’re expecting ‘we the people’ to pay.

Everyone who is elected to public off should STOP using hyphenated-American!! You are either FOR the USA or against U.S. If you are hyphenated – you have divided loyalties – go to the county that best fits you and take your family and friends with you so that the rest of U.S. can discuss matters, not rant and call each other racists, bigots, and other vile names and live in PEACE in the UNITED States of AMERICA!

When I was in school, me and my friends were very apolitical. It was a turbulent time with many heavy-Left groups(some very violent) floating around. One day, as we were sitting around a guy approached us and struck-up a conversation. He started out with pretty general stuff, like the latest music, etc., but then shortly turned to politics. To make a long story short– he was a member of the Weather Underground, and was trying to recruit us to join. We collectively told him to F-off.
So you see, radicalism in academic circles is nothing new. What is new is the large number of brainless students who embrace all the “woke” BS and the propaganda from sources not exactly friendly to the U.S..

The students are just the symptom of the disease, the actual cancer is within the administration, because they are allowing the evil leftist professors at these schools to teach vile hatred of everything that America stands for. Unless the cancer that the ideologues are is cut out, it will spread until nothing can be done, it may already be too late for a whole generation of youth! Young undeveloped minds are easily molded because they are unworldly, and naive and believe and trust the professors are all knowing, even over the parents that raised them! We have allowed the colleges and universities to teach our children, but instead of teaching them skills they can use in the working world, they are brainwashing, and indoctrinating our nations treasure, (Our Children) using the monsters of evil who are calling themselves professor’s.

I don’t look at this as blacklisting. I think it’s good for potential employers to know if potential employees have spoken out in favor of terrorism. Those employers can decide whether job candidates align with company values. If not and values alignment is important to them, they should award their jobs to people whose values align.

This type of ideology has been ingrained in them. Many universities “hold open” spots for foreign students who receive preferential treatment over American Citizens which is truly sickening! I would say our government needs to stop funding this insanity, but we all know the once revered halls of Congress and the White House are both filled to the brim with the Marxists!!

I my opinion, any college or university that allows these demonstrations, the ones supporting Jamas butchery, should be blacklisted and their graduates and professors barred from any employment anywhere! However, this has been going on for sometime and will take a long time to eradicate from our academic landscape and national character. the Prayer of St. Francis asks us to become vessels of peace, that peace starts with understanding and thought. Sadly, those are qualities that are lacking in our so-called universities and colleges. These institutions(?) of higher learning(?) need to be cleansed of these radical Marxist ideas and returned to teaching proper subjects, like rhetoric and grammar and the reals sciences and true history. Cleanse them of their radical leanings and maybe, just maybe, we can get back to a peaceful society & planet. God willing!

I wish I could choose both 1 & 2! In this great country of ours, we have freedom to express our views. However there are consequences of our speech. All those who express hateful and antisemitic sentiments should be held accountable. This includes students, faculty (all levels of education,) celebrities, institutions, and politicians! Where is the outcry to file charges of HATE SPEECH? Or arrests made for INCITING VIOLENCE? ( I’d start with a couple of loudmouthed, hateful congresswomen).
By the way:Where are all those who stormed the Capitol and attempted to breach the White House grounds? Have they been refused bail or thrown into solitary confinement? I bet not. And funny, I haven’t even heard the word”insurrection” mentioned once….

I have been saying it for years that most college’s are a waste. There are a few good ones like Prager U, and Hillsdale, and some other Christian college’s. The thing I do not understand is why parents push their kid’s to go to college when they should be working out in the field of choice getting experience and a work ethic. Take one look around at our society and see what leftist college’s have done to our country.

When I went to college (1990 through 2011 one class at a time) I attended 3 different regional campuses. Most of the professors kept their politics to themselves and stuck to the actual subject of the class. There was one professor who was obviously very liberal, but even she was careful not to insert her beliefs into the curriculum. Unfortunately she apparently had never worked in the private sector as she and I saw the workplace very differently. I who had worked several very different jobs at different companies felt that she was very out of touch, in fact her favorite saying was “here in academia ”
My point here is that as of 2011 not all colleges are bad and I believe I learned a lot. I entered the workforce in the early 70’s and worked my way up with just a high school education. I am a believer that you do not need a college degree, it is not for everyone, bring back vo-ed and technical schools.
I personally try very hard to judge everyone as an individual, aside from their religion, color, or heritage.

All choices apply here. It is deeper than these students. It is a movement worldwide to eliminate the Jewish people. And the people on the right. Remember Italy when they voted in a right winger. The whole world was against that. Fascism they said was coming back. While the ultra left fascists are themselves
I think all those students should be taken to Gaza and fight. If they are determined to be on the side of Hamas. At least they should experience the cruelty of Hamas first hand. Screaming slogans is easy, picking up a gun for that cause not so easy.
The worst part of all this is ole Joe doesn’t even mention it. He says don’t but that’s not specific. He should have said we are stopping all student loan payments retro active. For these kids have never had any hardship and most of them couldn’t find Israel on the map. There are consequences for being racists only not for the people and or students on the left. They are like ole Joe working both sides.

Repercussions. It’s a word that many hate. If your personality is such that you have to actively search for ways to be anti-something and then attempt to force others to accept your opinions, (or for something that simply defies logic), there is a chance that there will be repercussions from many critically thinking people that don’t want false or edgy non-issues constantly jammed in their faces. Some professors, seeking popularity, appear to be wasting tuition dollars by focusing on unreasonable anti-establishment agendas when they should be teaching students to think, learn from history, from others’ mistakes, and be ready with FACTS to question all of the answers for themselves.
I’m relieved that there are some clear thinking CEOs out there. Being blocked from employment by these companies may not influence the spoiled and entitled, but at least part of corporate America is not enabling them.
