The viral clip of then-San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris in 2010 bizarrely and wrongly explaining how ‘cloud’ computing and data storage works is both an embarrassment for the vice-president, but more importantly a “lights-and-siren” warning about just how dangerous Harris’ cluelessness really is. The now-presumptive Democratic candidate detailed to an audience at Google, with utter confidence, how ‘cloud’ technology computing our data is stored in a literal cloud “above us.” She wasn’t kidding.
At first, I thought Harris’ remarks were so buffoonish it couldn’t be real, even for Ms. Word Salad. I told myself it had to be a deep fake or taken out of context. But after some brief research, it became painfully clear it was indeed real and can be found about 33 minutes into this video with her full remarks.
In 2010, Harris had been invited to speak at Google when she was running for California Attorney General. At that point in time, she had been the San Francisco district attorney for six years. Harris was asked a question about unreasonable search and seizures and the Fourth Amendment, at which point she confidently launched into describing why cloud computing presents a unique problem for law enforcement. And why was that? Because the data was no longer being kept on planet Earth.
Delivered in a peculiar little girl tone, with a self-satisfied inflection, she told the crowd, “No longer are you keeping those private files in some file cabinet. It’s on your laptop, and it’s then therefore up here in this cloud, that exists above us [at which points she waves her hands above her head to emphasize the point]. It’s no longer in a physical place.”
No one felt compelled to tell Harris that “the cloud” is a marketing term for a global network of physical servers working in unison. On Earth.
Even more concerning is the fact that this was a response by the woman who had been the San Francisco DA already for six years, making prosecutorial and law enforcement decisions informed by an imbecilic belief about a major technological aspect of the world’s infrastructure and its relationship to the constitution and the law. What else did DA Harris get wrong with this magical thinking?
Harris not only did not know what she didn’t know, but seemed perfectly confident about the crazy notion that computing and data were somehow stored “above us” in the sky. A normal person would have questioned that proposition, but not Kamala.
This is more than worthy of mocking, it is a screaming confession by an unserious, incurious, and confused person that they should not be placed in the most powerful position on the planet. Her level of passive ignorance, exposed multiple times over the years, is mind boggling. Ask yourself this: If she is this gullible and apathetic, which terrorist totalitarian enemy will be the first to take advantage of her, and ergo, us?
As we know, this isn’t the first gibberish to flow from Harris. No wonder whoever it is that’s running the country found her to be a perfect fit for VP—she is as intellectually inept as Biden but for different reasons.
Consider her remarks on diplomacy just a few days ago when the hostages arrived home after being released by Russia: “This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy.”
And don’t forget she was appointed Biden’s AI czar in 2023. That same year, left to putting sentences together on her own, she struggled to described artificial intelligence. At a roundtable discussing the issue with civil rights leaders, she delivered an eruption of words that would have embarrassed Mt. Vesuvius: “I think the first part of this issue that should be articulated is AI is kind of a fancy thing, first of all, it’s two letters, it means artificial intelligence but ultimately what it is is it’s about machine learning.”
We were all forewarned about Harris’ strange communicative deficit when in 2021 Harris appeared in a produced video meant to encourage children’s interest in space. Even in that scripted environment, Harris’ reactions were widely criticized as “loopy” and “bizarre.” But the strangest revelation was that the children she was interacting with were all child actors, confirming early on that she was unable or unwilling to engage naturally with regular kids in a spontaneous way.
We’ve already seen how Harris is not capable of being the VP and is unfit for any office requiring more than modest comprehension and interest in solutions, and basic curiosity. Her shockingly insipid description of the most basic of issues – the cloud, diplomacy, and AI – delivered in a manner one would expect from a 10 year-old, reveals a middle-aged woman who embodies the “fake-it-til-you-make-it” philosophy.
The Democrat bureaucracy could have chosen anyone to fill the Biden slot once they forced him out of the race. But they chose to shove Harris into the position, confirming that they are deliberately and methodically undoing the constitutional order of this country to control, not just the American people, but their supposed leadership as well. They liked what they had with a mindless Biden, and they’re thanking their lucky stars that they have a mindless Harris.
This could also explain her horrible reputation with how she treats her staff. She knows she’s in over her head, and dealing with people everyday whom she no doubt fears will discover she has no idea what she’s doing presents a whole series of problems. How do you handle that environment? Bully people into silence and retreat to protect yourself.
The charade to install Kamala Harris into the presidency is proof that the Democrats and their media handmaidens learned nothing from the Biden scam and the dangers of facilitating such a massive fraud upon the American people. But they’re having too good of a time with all the power in the world. They’re not affected by war, unaffordable gas, rent, and high food prices. Our country and the planet are lurching toward massive war and economic recession. But don’t notice any of that! Look over there at the shiny, new, and not like Biden at all – Kamalot!

Politicians may be uninformed, but they never seem to let that interfere with expressing their ignorance. A multi-term Congressional Representative from New York, sent an email to her constituents extolling the value of STEM educational programs, which she defined as science, technology, education and math. When a constituent replied to her that E stands for engineering, the constituent received no thanks (nor even a response) to the correction. I’m surprised Democrats didn’t hold off on Biden’s decision not to seek a second term until the convention. That would have given Republicans less time to dig up data on this intellectually deficient candidate. Unfortunately, many voters have more desire to participate in the elevation of the first woman to the highest office in the United States than to elect someone competent.

How much more important should it be that the president of our country be the best, not their gender or color? What does Kamala know about anything going on with Russia, Ukraine, Israel, Iran, armed forces etc.? Or anything else for that matter?

All accounts I’ve seen say that she was equally naive as a “prosecutor”. She ascended to the top by “giggling girlishly”, and being unintimidating.
The fact that this approach worked for her, to the extent of becoming Biden’s VP, means that Biden chose her for her gender and apparent lack of ability to upstage him… She also fell completely in line with that expectation by doing exactly nothing while in her role as Border Czar, while covering up for Biden’s mental incapacity as President.
