What would Lenin teach our children? He tells us.

“We must hate – Hatred is the basis of Communism. Children must be taught to hate their parents if they are not Communists.” – Vladimir Lenin.

It should not come as a surprise then when we see the progressive Left push for Critical Race Theory and the introduction of toxic organizations like Action Civics in our public education curriculum.

Critical Race Theory

“The art of any propagandist and agitator consists in his ability to find the best means of influencing any given audience, by presenting a definite truth, in such a way as to make it most convincing, most easy to digest, most graphic, and most strongly impressive.” – Vladimir Lenin.

One thing I noted clearly when attending the Florida State School board meeting is how well-organized BLM and Northland Coalition activists were. They knew the strongest positions held by conservatives, and they were prepared with answers and a lot of shock-value statements. Some of their top talking points include:

We promote anti-racism through the enforcement of policies that are ‘inclusive’ and ‘equitable’ for underserved citizens.

The policies proposed violate the civil rights laws in our nation’s constitution. Promotion of pro-human policies should be the goal of every state and of our federal government.

Because white Americans owned slaves at one point in history, all white Americans are permanent oppressors, and black Americans are permanently oppressed.

America ended slavery because it was unjust and did not live up to our Constitution. The cognitive dissonance could not be tolerated. Slaves were freed to self-govern in places like Haiti and Liberia. The result was that the population enslaved one another. Slavery is still a problem facing Africans today. This would indicate that slavery is an evil found in the hearts of individuals and not based on skin color.

Black Americans should receive reparations.

Ethnic origin or racial-based preferential affirmative action and hiring quotas in law and regulations, while intended to broaden minority economic opportunity, are in essence “reparations,” and have wrongly fully fostered many cases of reverse discrimination, which clearly seem to violate the purpose of civil rights laws in serving to disadvantage others based on ethnic or racial origin.

We are working to secure justice for black and brown Americans.

This is a re-enactment of the cultural revolution incited by Mao for the purposes of creating a communist nation of China, using the same jargon, save the replacement of classism with racism.

Action Civics

The introduction of organizations like Action Civics is the beginning of recruitment efforts to pit children against their parents for not supporting ‘equity’ and ‘inclusion’ – in other words, the neo-racist policies designed for the institution of communism in the U.S. Here is a quote taken directly from their website; “Our adultist culture systemically expects children to be seen and not heard, which fails to recognize the value and expertise of young people.”

The organization describes its mission this way; “Action Civics is a student-centered, project-based approach to civics education that develops the individual skills, knowledge, and dispositions necessary for 21st-century democratic practice.” (Emphasis added). A list of their members, including founders, can be found here. The website states the founding sponsor is the McCormick Foundation.

One commonality worth noting is how progressive mouthpieces and organizations consistently and incorrectly refer to the United States as a ‘democracy.’ It would be tempting to dismiss this as ignorance, but that would be self-diluting. A pure democracy, absent constitutional checks, and balances, inevitably enables instances of mob rule and societal disarray. This is precisely what we are seeing in ‘Cancel Culture. It has been said that a lie repeated often enough becomes perceived as the truth. This is the hope of the progressive Left.

Hillsdale College offers a course titled “Constitution 101: The Meaning and History of our Constitution“. It is rich in facts and includes a breakdown of a democracy vs. a republic and what information our founding fathers deliberated over before drafting our Constitution, with its Bill of Rights.

The next step of the Left: Criminalizing patriotism. It is not enough to demonize patriots but to criminalize them as well. This is to provide supporters of Communism the legal means to persecute political opponents, to instill fear for dissent, and to silence strong conservative voices.

How the Tide is Turning

“Destroy the family and you destroy society.” – Vladimir Lenin

The purpose of destroying society is to put into practice Lenin’s goal of worldwide revolution (global communism) through the destruction of the nuclear family and the institution of a ‘communal family.’ You may have heard it said, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Communism inspired this colloquialism.

Conversation in the public square about the devastating effects of fatherlessness on individuals and the nation is on the rise.

• In an insightful article titled Five Ways Lenin’s Propaganda Destroyed Marriage and the Family in Russia, writer Monica Showalter highlights the devastating effects of Lenin’s propaganda on Russian families, with a focus on how he influenced women to turn from home life by equating marriage with slavery, followed by promises of equality and prosperity that never came true. At the same time, Lenin did not fail to incentivize men to walk away from their families.
• Mark Alexander of the Patriot Post wrote an insightful article on the initiative of communists to destabilize our Republic by toppling what he refers to as the three pillars of Essential Liberty: Individual Liberty, Economic Liberty, and Constitutional Liberty.
• Dennis Prager of PragerU hosts a short video on the important role a father plays in the lives of their sons and daughters. He goes on to include the inevitable and potentially devastating consequences to both the children as individuals and our society when the father is not present.

CRT gets pushback from parents and the states

On June 22, 2021, the Loudoun Co, VA. public school board meeting was declared an unlawful assembly, and one man was arrested for trespassing. There is now an organized attempt to recall school board members in Loudoun County by angry parents. The grassroots advocacy organization fighting toward this goal has adopted the name Fight For Schools. They are focused on Virginia, but with some effort, other states can pick up the cause. Wanda Thibodeaux wrote an article titled How to Remove School Board Members for www.theclassroom.com.

In an article written by Parker Bono and published by AMAC on June 16, 2021, Parker lists seven states to date instituting legislation to ban CRT from public schools, including links to each bill.

Nationwide, the pushback has been profound. We can look for a rebranding of the term ‘Critical Race Theory. But organizations like the Equity Collaborative are still advancing this agenda in a progressive program. Their stated goal is to create educational equity, to further social justice, and to stand up to bias and oppression. Unfortunately, their goal creates more division and re-enforces negative stereotypes.

Where Mao used class identity to divide China, the progressives are using race identity.

Porn sites: The Left uses them to breakdown societal norms

Pornography is roughly a $97 billion industry, world-wide with the US contributing a significant portion of the funding. It is a weapon put in place and normalized for the express intent of the moral decay of a society. It is directly linked to violence against women and is proven to support human trafficking. H.B 72, proposed by Utah State Representative Susan Pulsipher and supported by State Senator Wayne Harper, would require filters and enforcement mechanisms to be put in place on all cellphones and tablets activated in Utah that would block pornographic content from being accessed by minors. It allows for civil penalties to be levied against manufacturers who fail to comply. The bill was signed by the Governor of Utah on March 23, 2021, and is one step in fortifying our Republic against the violence and moral decay born of illicit sexual conduct.

North Korean defector-turned-activist Yeonmi Park and Xi (pronounced SHE) Van Fleet of China are using their freedom of speech here in the US to courageously warn Americans about the dangers we face. Their accounts of the realities of life in a communist country are well worth the time invested to review.

This fight is not over. We can show up in numbers at school board meetings across the country. As taxpayers, we have that right, whether we have children or not. Get to know your local legislators. Encourage children to write to them, to both question and to praise. Encourage your legislators to propose more bills like H.B. 72.

If Action Civics can teach children about politics through engagement, so can conservatives. We can take our children and grandchildren to politically based events, like canvassing and campaigning for candidates who support conservative values.

If we commit to uphold God’s design, we can win. We will be blessed.
