WASHINGTON DC, Dec 29 — There was a time when climate scientist Judith Curry was the sweetheart of the global warming set.  As she put it in an interview with newsman John Stossel, “I was adopted by the environmental advocacy groups and the alarmists and I was treated like a rock star … flown all over the place to meet with politicians.”  That all changed when she investigated and realized that climate change alarmists were using “bad data” and that climate variability is natural.  Her admission showed that “Curry is an unusual researcher who looked at criticism of her work and actually concluded they had a point,” remarked Stossel,

The fact is that back in the day a considerable majority of climate scientists were warning that “environmental pressure groups” had it all wrong, says the National Center for Biotechnology Information.  The NCBI posted a report at the time that a letter signed at that time by over 50 leading members of the American Meteorological Society, the overwhelming majority of the 60 U.S. climate change scientists, warned about the policies promoted by environmental pressure groups.  The NCBI noted that “the policy initiatives derive from highly uncertain scientific theories.  They are based on the unsupported assumption that catastrophic global warming follows from the burning of fossil fuel and requires immediate action.  We do not agree.”

Nevertheless, in the following decades climate change hysteria has taken over.  But there are still authoritative reports that reveal the facts.  For example, says the Independent Institute, in his book, Hot Talk, Cold Science, astrophysicist Dr. S. Fred Singer, writes about the “alarmists clamor to impose draconian government restrictions on entire populations in order to combat climate change, revealing some startling, stubborn contradictory facts, including:

  • CO2 has not caused temperatures or sea levels to rise beyond historical rates.
  • Severe storms have not increased in frequency or intensity since 1970—neither have heat waves nor droughts.
  • Global change is not harming coral reefs.
  • Any increases in CO2 concentrations across huge time spans (there have been a few) haven’t preceded rising global temperatures; they’ve followed them by about six to eight hundred years—just the opposite of alarmist claims.
  • Alarmist climate scientists have hidden their raw temperature data and deleted emails—then undermined the peer-review system to squelch debate.

In sum, despite all the hot talk—and outright duplicity—there is no climate crisis resulting from human activities and no such threat on the horizon.”

Meanwhile, “climate crisis anxiety” is on the rise with more and more patients, most of them in their early years, showing up at their doctors seeking help.  According to experts at Yale University, for example, more and more patients are showing up at their doctors with illnesses known as “ as eco-anxiety, eco-grief, or climate doom.”

John Grimaldi served on the first non-partisan communications department in the New York State Assembly and is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Priva Technologies, Inc. He has served for more than thirty years as a Trustee of Daytop Village Foundation, which oversees a worldwide drug rehabilitation network.

Good article that basically hits on the true facts about historical climate that true science has advocated for years. Unfortunately, the powers want your money so they use idiotic science to conjure up falsehoods of reality that has ended up with things “Global Warming, solar and wind turbines for all electrical energy, electric cars, etc.” The ignorant continue to believe these lies.

Thanks to the Global Warming lie it will cost American Consumers TENS of THOUSANDS of DOLLARS MORE per year under Dictator Beijing biden’s Anti-American, Anti-Consumer Policies. Then add his FANTASY WORLD wind and solar power to provide electricity for everything. He doesn’t mention that Solar Flares would wipe out entire electric grids or rain/snow/electric storm outages just for starters. Dictator Beijing biden has KILLED our Energy Independence since his first day including all the way through 2024. Yet there is and has not been anything to replace it except more BS talking about it and raising taxes and higher utility bills for a FATHOM FAIRY TALE that only exists in his FANTASY WORLD head.
If Global Warming is such a threat which we have heard for many decades without any evidence of their predictions coming true or REAL scientific facts backing it up then just PLANT TREES since they thrive on CO2. Common sense and you don’t upend the economy or the entire country on FANTASY WORLD politics to just make a few richer while everyone else gets poorer just so democrats can get more power and control over YOU.
As the saying goes…Polish a turd, it’s still a turd. That’s what Global Warming is.

Someone has to publicly challenge this false information. Shine a light on their lies. Strongly refute their bogus data. Credentialed scientist need to publicly disprove them.

The entire Climate Change hysteria is about creating fear. It’s about controlling vast populations through fear. This is the greatest scam of all it will be used to control our diets our transportation and our entire way of life. The masses will be managed by the elites who of course won’t live under restrictions. They are progressing on schedule. Remember if CO2 is a harmful gas we all exhale it. Population control is imminent. Problem citizens first.

The book Hot Talk, Cold Science, by astrophysicist Dr. S. Fred Singer, is a good read. It critically examines the all assertions made by the climate change crowd.

If I could plant a tree for every person who believes we’re doomed 12 years hence…we’d have nothing to worry about. Well, that might be an exaggeration, but so are the doom-and-gloom prognostications made by scientists who fudged the data, teenagers, and politicians who can’t spell meteorological.

What affects our climate more than car exhaust are sunspots and other eruptions from the solar surface, the orbit of the earth over tens of thousands of years (it can vary between somewhat circular and elliptical), and volcanic activity. There is nothing we can do about those! The earth has entirely frozen over a few times since its creation (average temperature–way below 0F), and it has prospered with global temperatures averaging 5-8 degrees above current levels. One thing is certain: life on earth will change. Is it worth bankrupting countries and people to hold global temperature increases below 2 or 3 degrees F when those measures are not likely to work?

People are adaptable. Animals are adaptable. Even plants are adaptable as we know from advancing glaciers, when plants retreat south or up the mountains as climates warrant. As a professional gardener for 50 years, I hedge my bets and plant dense plantings on my property and on those that I’ve been hired to landscape. Without doubt, we can manage temperature extremes around our homes, decreasing air conditioning and heating bills. A few gigantic white oaks on my property (part of the reason I bought it) shade the house in the afternoon, so the AC rarely comes on or it runs for a short period of time in the summer even if it’s 90 degrees outside. There are hundreds of ways to be better residents on this planet, but if I go any further, people will start cursing at me. Whether or not you believe we can do anything about climate change or believe it exists at all, adding trees, shrubs, and groundcovers has other benefits.

For all the people bellyaching about climate change, I’ll bet fewer than 10% of them have done anything like I mentioned. Instead, they gather fortunes based on climate change hysteria… and they never have to worry about paying their bills.
