Bohemia, NY — 1/1/25 —The AMAC Book Club is proud to announce that “America’s Revolutionary Mind: A Moral History of the American Revolution and the Declaration That Defined It” by C. Bradley Thompson has been selected as our January Book of the Month. This thought-provoking work offers readers a deep dive into the philosophical core of the American Revolution, presenting a compelling narrative about the moral principles that led to the founding of the United States.

In “America’s Revolutionary Mind,” Thompson explores the ethical framework that informed the actions and writings of the founding generation. His extensive analysis brings to life the fervent debates and intellectual rigor that culminated in the drafting of the Declaration of Independence, a document that continues to shape American national identity and values. Through meticulous research and engaging storytelling, Thompson argues that the founders were not just political revolutionaries but also philosophers of freedom who envisioned a new world based on individual rights and moral clarity.

As AMAC members read this book, they will gain a renewed appreciation for the founding principles that have guided America for nearly 250 years. This selection is especially timely as we continue to navigate complex societal debates about freedom, rights, and governance. “America’s Revolutionary Mind” not only educates but also inspires, reminding us of the enduring legacy of America’s ideological beginnings.

The title of this book by C. Bradley Thompson ” America’s Revolutionary Mind : A Moral History of the American Revolution and the Declaration That Defined It ” – should be thought of as something fundamental for people who value the history of the events that shaped this Nation in the 1700’s. Born in Philadelphia in 1950 . visited Independence Hall for the first time in 1961 with my Mom and Dad – have had an appreciation of the history of the foundation of this Nation ever since then. Looking forward to reading this book. It is of great importance to provide insight pertaining to matters that influenced the spirit of developments then.
