It’s ‘in Hamas’ Interest’ to Create ‘Situation of Misery and Starvation’ in Gaza, Columbia University Professor Says

Columbia University professor says Hamas is responsible for the ongoing famine in Gaza.

“It is in Hamas’ interest, as they have defined it, to actually create a situation of misery and starvation, rather than worrying about its population and making sure that its population stays safe,” according to Awi Federgruen, a professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a global supply chain expert.

The United Nations says there is a “full-blown famine” in northern Gaza, which has led to additional pressure on Israel to allow more aid into the region, but Federgruen says the problem lies more in the aid not reaching the people it is intended to help.

“A quick analysis shows that the amount of food that is coming in from Israel is absolutely plentiful to feed every single individual that lives in Gaza,” the professor says.

In recent weeks, Federgruen says, food truck deliveries were slowed because “Hamas has chosen to send its rockets specifically to the crossings.”

Federgruen joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to unpack what is known about the food shortage in Gaza, and Hamas’ role in blocking civilian aid. He also discusses the continued fallout from weeks of anti-Israel protests at Columbia University.

Hamas could care less with the Gaza population. Any aid that goes in will be taken over by Hamas as to add to the misery of the population. Any outsider that has sent aid will have no control where that aid will be administered to. Until the conflict comes to an end, the population of Gaza will continue to suffer.

Yet, the US is building floating docks and sending millions of meals in every week. Hamas probably has the best fed soldiers in the world.

How about passing your thoughts along to Amal Clooney…she’s in cahoots with the ICC right now, stating that Israel is starving civilians in Gaza. Maybe she needs a different perspective…I’m sure she investigated the situation from afar…

I ask has there ever been a more bizarre siamese twin than leftists embracing islamist causes? Its nearly inexplicable until one recalls that the lefts chief animating feature is hate. The two hateful groups are drawn to each other. But its no equal marriage. The minute the islamists consolidate power their partners in hate had better learn to fly.

The USA is friends with Israel and we need to keep this in mind when discussing ANYTHING with protesters, other nations, and our very own politicians. I fully admit I don’t have another lifetime to be fully educated about middle east tensions. However, we have NEVER heard a thing about Palestinians taking up arms against the very group that is causing this problem, HAMAS and the ones they selected. As we in the good-old USA discovered centuries ago freedom is NOT free!

Hamas has one thought destroying Israel and many others are standing by doing nothing, people are dying and they need help to stop the destruction of their country yet manny are thinking it’s Israel’s fault.. Israel didn’t start the war Hamas did yet many are blaming Israel. I see the United States is offering condolences to the Arabs what about our allies who are dying do we care.? The people are dying yet many more will die if we allow the powers of Satan to continue . It’s time America starts praying and asking the Lord for help. The enemy Satan is the enemy of the world ,however, we can’t stop him from destroying the world, however, he can stop us if we ask the Lord for help. The Word tells us to believe in the Lord and the evil one will flee from us. The enemy is the leader of the world and many will be killed by Satanic men who are the ones who have the power to destroy .the people of the Lord will be saved and they will be able to fight against the evil spirits that are fighting against the Christians, who are the people of the Lord. Its the time for the people of the Lord to come and take care of the people who are suffering. The world is not ready to accept the Lord, but the people who believe that the Lord is in control he will be able to help the world to be part of serving the Lord.

What else is new? If prosperity and security were the name of the game it could have been had decades ago “Palestinians ” would have to want to maintain a functioning society Not in the vocabulary We also know where the food and other items intended for the population end up In whose hands Has anyone ever wonder why and how Arafat was allowed to become what he became? Has anyone ever question why all the money ended up in his hands in his personal international bank accounts? How many billions are there? The situation is nothing new and did not happen over night As for blocking the help for civilians that is nothing new as well Been going on for decades supplying the black market
