I have to admit that I gave up on this one. I for some reason, am no good at these scramble puzzles. My mind just doesn’t seem to work that way. Does anybody else have trouble?
These are my hardest puzzles to solve. I solved the first two words. I needed to reveal the first letter of the next two words before I solved both words. I never heard of Cheddar George but I learned something new. Good puzzle.
I can’t seem to manage these either, must be biden syndrome.
Sometimes, the words just pop out, as in the case of the first two in this puzzle. The remaining three were a mystery.
On Britania! Britania rules the waves!
My mother’s side of the clan came to the USA in 1923 so these jumbles weren’t too difficult. Grandma Jane used to wax eloquent about Cheddar Gorge.
I used too many hints to count! Got the first two, but after that a disaster. Never heard of Cheddar Gorge.
Cheddar? I thought that was Stilton Gorge!
Only sollved with 7 letter reveals. Oddly enough the last one was the easiest and I’d never heard of it. Go figure….
3:22 Took a while to figure out Edinburgh.
I gave up also!
At least I tried.
1:32 with one letter reveal only
I lived over there for 4 years. Never heard of Cheddar Gorge. We were a little busy with the “peace women”
