30 seconds – it helps to save this one for last + the first word had the letters in the correct order.
Love the word jumble but for some reason the very last jumble never shows the correct number of letters any more. It used to. Luckily, I can sometimes answer because of the clue. I have tried refreshing the screen. That doesn’t help. Once when I did the refresh, what few letters were there disappeared.
1:24, one of if not my best time with word jumbles. Admittedly, I skipped past ramen and tempura because I couldn’t initially make sense of the letters but easily unscrambled tgem on my second look.
Thirty three seconds today which is very fast for me. Maybe I know more about Japan than I thought. I read Shogun, that must be it!

Terrible. I only knew one word, knew the final, but with only one letter didn’t know how to spell it. I did a reveal for puzzle, which I have never done before. Must be the lateness in the hour.

1:51, but should have been faster if I’d just spelled them correctly, the first time. The third word had 6 letters to rearrange, but the word only had 5 letters. Also, kept trying to spell the second word with an ‘A’ at the end instead of an ‘O’. I served on 4 different ships, in the USNavy, 2 of which visited Japan, and one that was homeported there for the 2 years I was aboard.
