So today not a total loss, learned something new. ? LauraC 7 years ago Ever try to cast into the wind? Wouldn’t you risk a hook in the face? I’d think you’d get a longer cast with the wind at your back. Maybe I misread that one. Mike Bappe 7 years ago I did fair and I thought I was an outdoor person. Fish into the wind because wind blows bugs etc into the water. Waves action also washes food back in all luring bait fish which in turn lure larger fish. Kate 7 years ago Well, as usual for these outdoor quizzes, I got half right. Never said I was the adventurous type. Ugh. Dee smith 7 years ago Really not sure of #3 and animals breeding grounds. Left us befudled Lee Glidewell 7 years ago 10 of 15. 1st question about loss of body heat is quite vague. All things considered, the correct answer is “the head”, not “depends on what’s left uncovered”. Most people are going to be clothed if outdoors. However, if y’all look at an infrared picture of a naked body (showing heat loss), y’all will see more heat loss from the neck up, c’mon. Sheesh, who words these questions, a politician/democrat? Tad 7 years ago Some of these are just flat out wrong. For example, if you’re in an area that is heavily infested with insects, such as mosquitoes, you sleep downwind of a campfire because they will stay away from the smoke. You just don’t want to be so close that you inhale the smoke. NEVER cast into the wind unless you’d like your scalp ripped off. You lose the most heat from your head. Who wrote this?? Trena Eiden 7 years ago I’m a hospice nurse and I’ve seen people go two weeks with no food and no water before succumbing. In all situations it depends on the effort being exerted. angel2 7 years ago Sorry, i am colorblind, and can not figure out the questions/answers because of the background colors vs print colors Elizabeth Davis 7 years ago Your question “which body part loses the most amount of body heat? I answered THE HEAD. You said incorrect, which is incorrect. You left circumstances undefined, so In reality there is NO CORRECT ANSWER!!! Dan Borchers 7 years ago Wtf? On which side of water reserves do animals generally breed? Maybe on the dry side? Unless of course you’re a water moccasin. Richard Green 7 years ago Your answer is wrong. It’s common knowledge that the head loses the most heat. iadoregon 7 years ago It has been a long-standing thought that you lose the most heat through your head. It has been at least 10 years since that was disproven. This is similar to erroneously thinking that you will catch a cold because your hair is wet. Simply not true. Viruses cause colds, not wet hair.
