10/10 Wow! Surprised myself. And Spring isn’t my favorite season, Fall is. Spring is a nice season here in Vegas, though. 110 degrees and higher is on the way, too, this summer. Planning a vacation to the Pacific Northwest to cool off then, July and August.

The link says it is corrupt and I had to find another way to take the quiz (9 of 10). It wasn’t easy finding a way in. Same with last week. Any advice on how to fix it given no one else seems to have this issue. What changed?

Continuing sophomoric composition skills/knowledge are evident on AMAC’s quiz again today. 1) “Daffodil’s” does not have an apostrophe because it’s a plural designation, not a possessive.2) The correct term for the planetary arrangement which occurs late in March is the Vernal Equinox, not “Spring Equinox”.

Flora or Venus??? How are they both the goddess of spring???
Still, 8/10… I can live with that. 🙂

10/10, probably my first perfect score but it was easy. I knew most but those I didn’t know seemed more common sense.

My first 100%! Ok, by looking at other scores, we can agree this was a pretty easy quiz. Oh well, let me enjoy this one. Ha!

9/10, got wrong about the sun rising over the equator. But the rest were easy. Being a gardener helped.

Like many others, a rare perfect score. Those that were not in my knowledge base were easy for figure out like the Roman goddess of Spring being Flora (think flowers), or were very logical such as birds singing.more in the spring to attract mates.

8/10 Guess I was confused because I woke up to a 12 inches of snow this morning and it’s still coming down. Springtime in Montana!

Okay, so the Roman goddess of Spring is either Venus or Flora. Which is it? Who makes up these quizzes?

To call Spring Onions by the name Scallions is not only confusing; it is wrong. Speing onions are bulb onions picked when they are young. They have a small bulb at the bottom where the roots are attached. Scallions are different in that they have no bulb. They are also called green onions.

The plural of Daffodil is Daffodils not Daffodil’s. When did they stop teaching spelling in grade school?

When I studied Roman Mythology, as the daughter of Zeus, Venus was the Goddess of many things, such as beauty and love, but I do not recall Spring as one of her attributes.

I used to enjoy this type of quiz as an exercise in trivia. Now I enjoy them as an exercise in ferreting out misinformation.
