Oregon City is where the Oregon trail ended. Johnson 5 years ago Lewis and Clark did not go to Oregon City–they went as far a Seaside and built a salt cairn to have salt on the return trip. Their winter camp was near Astoria and Warrenton. Jim Shedd 5 years ago Got 7 of 12, some just lucky guesses since I really know nothing about Oregon except it’s located in tge Great Northwest. Rick J. 5 years ago 6/12 only because of a few lucky guesses. The only thing I really know about Oregon is that it is on the “left” coast. Sable 5 years ago I also got 6/12 because I didn’t trust my first answer enough. Also, I thought Crater Lake was Mt Hood…was that Mt St Helens? Kate 5 years ago I got 7/12, which I thought was pretty good since I know nothing about Oregon at all. Every answer was a guess. Julia 5 years ago 2/12 my worst ever. Paul Lubell 5 years ago 11 of 12. Only Mo’s and mushrooms were guesses. It helped that I had lived near Oregon 1978-1980 and had visited Crater Lake. Patty L 5 years ago 7/12….I’m shocked I did that well. They were a mixture of guesses and logic. I’m wondering what the next state AMAC is going to use for their puzzles. I’d like to know so I can study ahead of time!? ROBERT 5 years ago Missed 4 of the first 5, but aced it from there with just a few guesses. Gail 5 years ago 6/12 Knew only a few, rest were guesses. I don’t really understand why you can’t pump gas in Oregon. No cars? Or, must a station attendant do it for you? Anyone know? Gwen 5 years ago 12 of 12 for a native Oregonian. Whoopie. But don’t know anyone who has ever hunted for mushrooms, so that was a guess. Oregon Trail ended in Oregon City, but Lewis and Clark Trail ended near Astoria. And the attendant pumps the gas because we don’t want to get out of the car in the rain!! Makes sense to me. J C 5 years ago Got them all, but it’s because I lived in the PNW for a while. And I still refer to them as “oreganos” anyway. Just like the rest of the I5 corridor, none of them can drive properly. And the 1 time I stopped to get gas, I did pump my own and the attendant yelled at me; I yelled back, because I’m not lazy. Lilly 5 years ago 8 out of 12 Richard Lilly 5 years ago 7 out of 12 and I’m not even an Organ donor!!! Leann 5 years ago Think first time I ever got 12/12! Moved to Oregon years ago but still almost missed the state colors. In the more rural counties of Oregon you can now pump your own gas, watch for signs. Leann 5 years ago Think this is the first time ever got 12/12! Moved to Oregon years ago. In the more rural counties of Oregon you can now pump your won gas (not that I want to), watch for signs. wpDiscuz240Would love your thoughts, please comment.x()x| ReplyInsert Login Login Join Renew Member Benefits Newsline Member Benefits Advocacy Our Actions About Advocacy Issues Get Involved Weekly Update Annual Report Find Your Representative AMAC App Better for America Podcast Book Club AMAC Blog FAQ About Us Overview Our Team Our Stance on Key Issues Magazine Medicare Games Voice Your Opinion in AMAC Polls AMAC in the Media AMAC Action AMAC Foundation Social Security Guarantee Prime Directives Brief Prime Directives Details The AMAC Store Sweepstakes AMAC Active Contact Advertise with AMAC Terms & Conditions Privacy Policy
