George 2 years ago The Colorado River does not run through Las Vegas. It’s several miles away from Vegas. Joe from Las Vegas Nevada 2 years ago 10/10 First perfect score ever. But…I live here. BTW, Aces and Eights, the Dead Man’s Hand, has nothing to do with Vegas. Look Up Deadwood, Colorado. Jim Shedd 2 years ago Guess being a Las Vegas resident for just shy of 30 years helps. I scored 9/10 on this one though I guessed at the Dead Man’s hand (I’ve never played poker nor any other live table games, only video poker). I also disagree with the question regarding the River running through Las Vegas unless it’s underground. The Colorado runs east of Las Vegas into Lake Mead which sets on the Arizona/Nevada border. There are no above ground rivers in Las Vegas. Sherry Ware 2 years ago 6/10 I live here but I don’t gamble or even go to the strip. By the way the Colorado River does NOT run through Las Vegas but near by Boulder City over the famous Hoover Dam. Geography matters. JKHero 2 years ago Once again, the link in AMAC’s second mailing today connected to the exact same quiz. It had the same questions. It had the same answers. It was exactly the same quiz. Why did AMAC bother to send a second link to it? Kathryn 2 years ago 7/10. I’ve been to Vegas many years ago (1979). Remembered some things and some not so much. Ruth Pierce 2 years ago 7/10; some were guesses. I lived in Carson City, NV for several months (in the 60’s). I was amazed that there were slot machines in the grocery stores. When I first got there I think I sprained my right arm playing the slot machines. We moved to California shortly later. I came back to Michigan (my home town) in the 70’s and have been here since. Margie 2 years ago 8/10 Walt 2 years ago 9/10. The Colorado River does NOT flow through Las Vegas. Melinda 2 years ago Can’t believe I got 9/10! I really know nothing about Vegas, just from reading. Marie 2 years ago 9 out of 10 correct! I guessed well today. Sunie 2 years ago First one I’ve made 10 out of 10. Interesting – I’ve never been to Las Vegas, know very little about it, don’t gamble, don’t go to casinos. Result of good guessing and watching westerns and crime shows. Bob 2 years ago 4 out of 10 and the ones I got right have little to do with Las Vegas. Shows you what I think of sin city. Sam 2 years ago 9 out of 10.
