Blessed Easter! ‘Nonymus 5 years ago An egg roll? Really! It’s called an Easter egg hunt, with kids searching for eggs hidden on the White House lawn. I remember Hillary being quoted as saying to her attendants to hurry up and get it over with so we can get these kids out of here! Carol 5 years ago First time I got all of the answers correct! And I should since I have been teaching Sunday school to little ones for over 20 years!!! The question about East and West celebrating Easter on different Sundays is usually correct unless those Easters line up on the same Sunday, which does happen every few years. Also, I’d love for the answer to the question about another name for Easter to be Pascha since that’s what the Eastern Orthodox Christian church calls the feast day! Rick 5 years ago Happy Easter to all !!!! Jan13 5 years ago Another fun quiz Happy Easter/ Passover to all. ? Helen Corey 5 years ago Passover on Friday followed by Easter on Saturday/Sunday. Happy weekend!!! Kenny 5 years ago modern Lent isn’t actually forty days long. Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday is actually 46 days. Ash Wednesday to Holy Thursday is forty-four (more on that below). The reason that people think about it as a forty-day event is that those Christians who observe Lent don’t count Sundays. Because Sundays are celebrations of the death and resurrection of Jesus they are automatically considered days of joy and cannot be considered days of fasting. Which does mean that, technically, those who are “giving up” things for Lent can break their fasts on Sundays, although the Church does not promote the idea of “cheat days.” Susan Salzer 5 years ago Praying God Blesses each of us this Easter ??
