We all know the stories from the Bible about the Resurrection. But a question we need to ask ourselves is “Does the knowledge of the events get you to heaven?“ We need to look at our hearts to see if we have repented and turned our lives over to the Lord for salvation. That’s where the real change needs to be made. I hope everyone is blessed this Resurrection Sunday with knowing where we’re going after death. Raymond Summers 6 months ago 60+ years of church I better have gotten 10/10. Happy Easter, everyone. Peggy 6 months ago 10/10 I agree with Raymond…many years in the Church. Mary 6 months ago Question 1 is incorrect. The crucifixion of Jesus is also fortold in Isaiah 53 and Psalm 22 just to name two instances in the Old Testament. Psalm 22 describes crucifixion hundreds of years before crucifixion was a means of capital punishment under the Roman Empire. Patty L 6 months ago 9/10…. Didn’t know the one about reading crime novels. What does that have to do with the resurrection of Jesus Christ? julian 6 months ago I’m an 80 year old Catholic and never heard of eating hot cross buns on Good Friday; but it was the only logical answer to that question so I got it right. 10/10 Rita 6 months ago Crime novels for “Easter”? How peculiar. Trisha S 6 months ago I vaguely remember Hot Cross buns as a very young child. Growing up I really don’t remember them. It must have been an old tradition that simply got lost in time. Trisha S 6 months ago Many people here never heard of hot cross buns. I vaguely remember the term from extremely early childhood. I don’t think they make them any more. Growing up and until now I don’t remember them being available or ever referred to. I’m thinking it was maybe an old fashioned tradition no longer observed. Kreu 6 months ago 10/10, but I go to church and have faith, thank God. But on the sad side, I shopped at Lowes the other day and wished a “happy Easter” to the cashier, a girl around 30. She said “what’s that?” When I briefly explained, she asked me if we didn’t just have that a few months ago. She was referring to Christmas. She was completely unaware of Easter at all, and misunderstood Christmas entirely, had no knowledge it was “religious.” Brian 6 months ago You have you history incorrect. Herod was the King of Judea while Pontus Pilate was the Roman Governor of Jerusalem. You should correct that. Vito 6 months ago 8/10 – I misread 2 questions, so got 2 wrong. We don’t eat Hot Cross Buns, so probably would have gotten it wrong anyway. Happy Resurrection Day, folks. Ja ph 6 months ago Easter is not about colored eggs and crime novels Really This should be more biblical. And nothing about St Patricks day. UGG Christian org ? Linda 6 months ago 1st time ever for 10/10! Kathy G 6 months ago For the first time ever, I got all 10 correct. Usually I get 7 out of ten (average). So…. 8 of 10, to my embarrassment. Sam 6 months ago 9/10. Not too bad for an ol’ Southern Baptist. John Bass 6 months ago 6/10 and two were guesses. What can I say, I’m a sinner.
