Tim Leahy 4 years ago 8/11 – Don’t know my poets….or specific dates Patty L 4 years ago 7/11…..?? Mary 4 years ago Did not know that nations are languages. Anne 4 years ago I’m sorry but in Question 10: “what language…” the options are countries NOT languages. The correct answer should be French, not France as France is not a language but a country. The people in France speak the language of French. carol 4 years ago 9/11 – not bad! I thought autumn derived from Roman or Greek, didn’t know it was French! Not good with poets either! Got 7 out of 11. Guess I will need to see many more to get this right. Roger 4 years ago 11/11 – But had to “guess” which poet after I had narrowed it down to two of them… Jim Shedd 4 years ago Answered 8 of 11 correctly. Guess I know more about Autumn than I realized. Cheryl 4 years ago Regarding #10, I missed that one so looked it up. From several different places I found that the origin is the Latin word autumnus. It did eventually arrive at the Old French word autompne. I got 9 of 11 correct. Paula Frazier 4 years ago I got 8 out of 11…my best yet on the quizzes 🙂 I ♥ Autumn Sherry Ware 4 years ago Fall is my favorite season of the year as my birthday is the first full day of this “cooling off” season.
