On her last mother’s day, I gave mom several hundred flowers. I had been conducting a massive series of botany experiments that resulted in many hundreds of flowers. It was a joy to watch a terminally ill cancerous woman fly out of bed to go see the morning glories each morning, and there were many thousands of them.
