The title of the book – ” America’s Revolutionary Mind : A Moral History of the American Revolution and the Declaration That Defined It.” – should be thought of as fundamental for anyone who believes in the principles that hold this Nation together. Understanding the reasons why events developed as they did in the 1700’s provides a knowledge of the formation of the foundation of this Country and gives meaning to the historical development necessary to building the structure of the various systems that established the United States of America. Looking forward to reading this book. Born and raised in Philadelphia ,74 years ago visited Independence Hall with my parents for the first time in 1961 , the spirit of what happened in 1776 , the significance of the ideas that contributed to independence – has always been something appreciated . It is of value to citizens to have knowledge that provides insight and clear understanding of those events .
