3 cocktail drinks with Christmas decor behind it

A mocktail is a non-alcoholic cocktail. People enjoy them during the holiday season. Not only are they tasty and festive, but they can be enjoyed without the dangers of consuming alcohol. Here are three popular examples:

Cranberry-apple festive fizz Holiday mocktail

(Makes 48 oz.) Recipe can be easily cut in half or doubled or tripled.

  • 16 oz. cold cranberry juice
  • 16 oz. cold apple juice
  • 16 oz. cold lemon-lime soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh whole cranberries
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs

In a large pitcher, mix the two juices. Add the lemon-lime soda. Stir again. Pour into individual glasses filled with ice. Garnish with whole cranberries and rosemary sprigs. (Tip: if making ahead, wait to add the soda until ready to serve.)

Frosty’s fruity sangria holiday mocktail

(Makes 48 oz.) Recipe can be easily cut in half or doubled or tripled.

  • 24 oz. red or white grape juice
  • 12 oz. cranberry juice
  • 12 oz. sparkling water
  • 2 oranges, unpeeled, thinly sliced (deseeded)
  • 6 strawberries, hulled, & halved
  • 4 pineapple rings
  • 1 apple or pear, unpeeled, sliced (deseeded)

In a large pitcher, add the fruit segments (use only one orange and reserve the second to garnish individual glasses). Add the two juices. Gently stir with a wooden spoon. Let sit for up to one hour in the refrigerator. Then add the sparkling water when ready to serve. (Tip: This beverage is fruit-forward. Switch out any of the fruits in the recipe with your favorites. For a new batch, reserve the fruit and proportionately add more juice and sparkling water to replenish the supply.)

Orange-mint holiday mocktail

(Makes one individual 8 oz. portion. Repeat recipe as needed.)

  • 6 oz. cold cream soda
  • 2 oz. fresh squeezed orange juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange wedges (garnish)
  • Mint leaves (garnish)

In a tall glass tumbler, add the ice cubes and cream soda. Top the glass with the orange juice. Garnish with orange wedges and mint leaves.
