Worrying is a natural part of life. Bible verses for Men who struggle with anxiety could be the solution. How do we know this? The Bible mentions in many verses how to effectively deal with worry when – not if – it comes.

Consider This

If worrying was an obstacle for mankind at the time the Bible was written, surely it will be that way forever. And as certain aspects of society move farther away from God, it is important to rely on his words to help weather the storm. It is so easy today to consume things that make worrying incredibly easy.  Mainstream media, news, and politics are some of the quickest paths to fear, worry, and anxiety. But even when you are not actively seeking these things out, the way of the world seems to fit politics, stress, division, and turmoil into the lives of all people through the technology we virtually depend on now, particularly social media.

Why It’s Important

Men and women encounter equal but different forms of worry throughout the course of life. Studies show men are growing increasingly worried about not only providing for their families but also being not involved enough in their family lives in the process. No matter how worry finds its’ way into your life, it is not strong enough to overtake you if you lean into what the Bible promises.

The Verses:

Philippians Chapter 4 verses 6 and 7:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

1 Peter Chapter 5 Verse 7:

“Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

Proverbs Chapter 12 Verse 25:

“Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down,”

Now What?

Easier said than done? Sure. But Bible verses for Men who struggle with anxiety could truly benefit from these verses. Life, and all its obstacles, is not supposed to be easy. If it were, what would the reward be when it ends? While all people deserve, and should seek to find happiness, one should also understand that trials are inevitable on the path to a fulfilling life. Actually, understanding this is key to being able to overcome the challenging times we will all face.

Don’t Hesitate

If you dread, or ignore the reality of future worries and anxieties existing, when they arrive they can become consuming and demoralizing. But, on the other hand, if instead of dwelling on the negative, you generally accept these things as a part of life, and attack them with faith, hope, and the expectation that God will help you through them, you will not only be at ease but also look forward to the feeling of accomplishment and joy waiting for you once you overcome it. Life is not perfect, nor should it be. God did not design it to be that way. That’s what heaven is for. However, these Bible verses for Men could help those who struggle with anxiety and could combat many stressors of everyday life.
