For over two decades, American Water Resources (AWR), has been providing homeowners with the peace of mind they deserve when it comes to protecting their budgets from unexpected repair costs. Our affordable home warranty plans offer coverage against issues with water lines, sewer lines, and in-home plumbing lines and fixtures.

Why do I need a home warranty program?

Many Americans commonly and mistakenly believe that their homeowners’ insurance policy covers issues with their in-home plumbing or service lines. Unfortunately, most standard homeowners’ insurance policies don’t cover common problems, such as clogged/blocked sewer lines, burst water lines, broken water pipes, leaking water shut off valves, and more.

Water Line Protection Program

Your standard homeowners’ insurance policy likely doesn’t offer any coverage for leaks or other issues with the water service line that runs through your property to your home. If you have a burst pipe or leaking line, you may be left to handle the bill on your own — and you’ll also be responsible for finding a professional (and available) service provider in your area to take care of the diagnostic and repair work.

That is, unless you’re enrolled in our Water Line Protection Program, which covers a variety of water line issues, such as burst pipes, damage from tree roots, leaking pipes, damage from corrosion, and more. Any covered repairs will be taken care of by local, insured independent plumbing contractors from our trusted service provider network. See Terms and Conditions for details.

Sewer Line Protection Program

Clogged or blocked sewer lines are also likely not covered by your standard homeowners’ insurance policy. A blocked/clogged sewer service line can make itself known in a variety of ways. You may notice that your toilets don’t flush, your sinks or tubs don’t drain, and you may also notice a foul odor emanating up through your plumbing fixtures. When this happens to you and you aren’t covered by a service line warranty program, you’re the one who will be responsible for covering the repair costs. It’ll also fall on you to get any necessary permits for the repair work, and also on you will be taking care of any inspections post-repair, and backfilling holes and reseeding your yard.

But when you’re signed up for our Sewer Line Protection Program, AWR provide repairs for things like clogs from normal wear and tear, blockages from tree roots and more — all for an affordable monthly fee. Please view our Terms and Conditions for details on what’s covered.

In-Home Plumbing Protection Program

Our In-Home Plumbing Protection Program covers repairs to your home’s interior water and sewer pipes. This includes coverage for things like overflowing toilets, burst water pipes under counters, and broken water lines attached to your bathroom, kitchen, or laundry room fixtures.

When you’re enrolled in our In-Home Plumbing Protection Program, we’ll provide repairs for things like broken water pipes behind walls and ceilings, blocked or slow moving shower drains, clogged laundry drain lines, leaking water supply lines, burst water pipe joints, and more. Please view our Terms and Conditions for details on what’s covered.

How does it work?

When you’re enrolled in a service line protection plan from AWR – your #1 choice home warranty service provider – all you have to do is reach out to us when a covered problem occurs, and we’ll handle the rest. We have a network of proven and trusted providers who will be able to get the issue diagnosed and taken care of as quickly as possible – with a one-year warranty on all repair work performed!

How is AMAC affiliated with American Water Resources, and how is AMAC benefitting from recommending this company? The reason I ask is because there are so many negative complaints on-line about this company.
