Dr. Victor Davis Hanson joined AMAC CEO Rebecca Weber on the Better For America podcast to discuss how the left got exactly what they wanted. Hanson, who is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute who has authored hundreds of works in his career and has been awarded his contributions to culture and society, says that his new book, “The Dying Citizen,” makes the argument that the lines between citizenship and residence have been conflated because citizens no longer hold singular rights and responsibilities previously exclusive to them, due to illegal immigration. He further goes on to say that in the past, we knew there were issues, but we never imagined there would be a systematic effort to destroy our principles, such is the case now. Dr. Hanson has laid bare the reality of what is happening to this once great country called America and just who is to blame. He and Chris Rufo [in Chris’s book, America’s Cultural Revolution] have taken the covers off what has been going on in our country for the past 60+ years. The “left” has no rules, values or morals. They have only one goal–the total and utter destruction of America. They are self-centered and egocentric in their own myopic view of the world and their place in it. If they don’t agree with something, they cancel it out, change the name, redefine the terms [to fit their narrative], erase historical facts and distort the truth. Unfortunately our public education system and universities are fostering this type of thought and action. The faculties of these institutions indoctrinate rather than educate. Little do they, and the students they teach, realize that they are willing pawns in the plan to destroy America and its ideals. They are being manipulated and this manipulation will eventually lead to their own demise; as the whole system disintegrates into a world where all individual freedoms are lost and anarchy and totalitarianism control their pitiful lives. Orwell was a prophet and gave us a “fictional” view of the future. Now we are living and seeing 1984 playing out in our lifetimes. I can only trust and hope that people will wake up before it is too late.
