DR. GINA LOUDON: What Trump’s win really means, as a former, assistant secretary of state to Colin Powell. what do you think Trump’s win means to, for example, adversaries and to allies?
BOBBY CHARLES: Yeah. So for sure it, it has already dramatically. They’re now back on their heels, ranging broadly from, Iran and, those in the Middle East that, would, it would have had us in their bead to, to Russia and China, of course. So the first thing that happens is this is the rebirth of deterrence and the end of appeasement. And that is a profound move. The second is Faith in us again. Look, America’s word has always been essential and we’ve always generally kept our word and world war one war. And now we’re back in an environment where you probably can reawaken the Abrahamic accords. You can probably look for ultimately peace in Ukraine. Why? Because America’s word now means something. People know one thing about Trump. If they know nothing else, he does what he says he will do. And that’s exactly what caused Ronald Reagan to be so popular. He, really just lived. He walked the walk. He talked the talk and he did what he said he would do. And I think Trump’s going to do the same thing.
