WASHINGTON, DC, Feb 14 – Radio talk show host, author, and Fox News contributor, Tammy Bruce, has joined AMAC as a contributing columnist, Rebecca Weber, CEO of the Association of Mature American Citizens [AMAC], announced today. “Ms. Bruce will be providing insightful reports and commentary on controversial political issues, having spent decades as a highly respected journalist covering the state of the nation,” says Weber.

Ms. Bruce describes herself as an Independent Conservative. Weber noted that her early Democratic Party affiliation before rejecting that association in 2008 and as a liberal activist and community organizer in the 1990s, gives her a particularly perceptive understanding of the machinations of the Left.

Ms. Bruce announced her affiliation with AMAC in an appearance on the Fox Business channel, noting she wants to help Americans determine their futures, and AMAC is where we can start. As she put it, while AMAC is considered to be the conservative alternative to AARP, her joining AMAC as a contributing columnist “is not about retirement, this is about the future for all of us regardless of our age.” Bruce had her own nationally syndicated radio talk show, The Tammy Bruce Show, which premiered in 1993.

She is a New York Times bestselling author with books exposing the corrupt agenda of the left and the existential importance of American freedom and culture. Her writings about social issues have been published in numerous national and international publications including the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today, the San Francisco Chronicle, Esquire, and The Advocate among others.

In addition, Bruce has authored three critical books. Her first, The New Thought Police, focused on freedom of expression and personal liberty. The Death of Right and Wrong is the title of her second book examining the left’s perpetuation of moral relativism. It quickly became a New York Times bestseller. She is currently working on a new book focusing on the political use of fear to exploit and control the individual and society in general.

A California native, Ms. Bruce divides her time between New York City and Los Angeles. In addition to being a partisan for the United States, she is an animal welfare advocate and gets routinely bossed around by Ruby, her Mini Australian Shepherd.
