America’s expertise, when it comes to energy production, has been undermined. The administration has replaced professionals “who have oil and gas experience in their portfolios with think-tank activists. And that’s why you see this headlong rush into an unproven energy policy which will ultimately cost everybody a lot more money.” Stewart pointed out that the Biden administration wasted no time in canceling the Keystone XL pipeline and suspending leases. “And now they’re coming down into our personal lives and saying, you can do this and you can’t do that. And it’s a frightening direction in which we’re going right now.”
He went on to explain that the administration has triggered an invasive war that would outlaw fossil fuels such as natural gas. For example, San Francisco is bent on phasing out natural gas furnaces starting in 2027. “We don’t have the infrastructure in place and it won’t be in place for a long, long time,” Stewart noted. He said that despite the fact that the powers that be seek to portray fossil fuel as the enemy, “the reality is natural gas is probably the best bridge fuel you’ll ever get if you want to completely decarbonize.”
Stewart pointed out, the “Ninth Circuit Court recently overturned Berkeley, California’s ban on gas stove infrastructure. They said you can’t do that. You don’t have the authority to do that. Which is encouraging to me because, if you can win in Berkeley, in the Ninth Circuit, which is the most notoriously liberal court there is, we can win across the country.
Another liberal state, New York State, has also recently passed a statewide ban on natural gas and Stewart suggested that his association will get involved there as well. In fact, he said his Oil and Gas Association has established what he called, a ‘Hands Off My Stove Initiative’ as an option for people who don’t work for our industry, but who want to figure out how to do something. We’re gathering people from all across the country to help local groups fight these local initiatives. We’ll team people up with them to keep the communists out of our kitchens.
“I have never in my 30 years seen a more concentrated regulatory and legislative assault on the oil and gas industry like we have seen in the last 18 months. The Biden administration, I think, really is to blame. There is significant overreach right up front. And in doing so, they bought this issue of energy poverty and they put it on their own shoulders. That is the biggest issue and we’ve been pushing back on them over and over and over again. If I’m a senior living on a fixed income, there are some things I can’t control. Nor can I control the price of energy, and that is something that I have to have. And the administration has been very slow and frankly unresponsive and uncaring in terms of what their policies are actually creating. We’re being squeezed by a regulatory regime, which is frightening.”

I was going to offer up a more serious comment, but I read yours and I think it just strikes a perfect note. Biden has been dismantling the oil and gas industry in this country since Day One. Cheap, abundant and reliable energy is the cornerstone of any prosperous, modern country. Without it, the nation simply loses its ability to grow or even maintain its economy and the lifestyle of its citizens. Everything the Biden administration has done since Day One has been to strengthen China and weaken the United States. Things like going after gas stoves and soon to be gas clothes dryers and other appliances in general (I’ve seen the list of what’s next on the agenda from EPA) are just twisting the knife in the gut of the American middle class, as Team Biden works overtime to raise costs and lower the standard of living for the masses for no valid reason.
So of course, President Xi is always grinning ear to ear. His “investment” in getting Biden into the White House has been hugely beneficial for both China and President Xi’s own personal wealth. China will rake in trillions upon trillions of additional dollars from the United States over just the next 10 years due to this forced march the American people are on due to Team Biden. Meanwhile, the American people continue to stand for each new assault on their bank accounts and their standard of living.
Honestly I can’t wait to see the first re-designed F35 fighter to roll off the assembly line after being converted to run on just batteries. The thing will weigh nearly 50 percent more than a current F35 and have less than half the range as it handles like trying to fly a brick. Mission capable? Of course not, but it will be “green”. So I’m sure our enemies will take that into consideration when they challenge us in the future. Same goes for the redesigned Navy ships being planned, that won’t be able to operate in sustained periods of stormy weather as they their solar panels won’t be able to generate enough power to recharge their keels filled with thousands upon thousands of lithium batteries to run their propulsion and weapons systems. What could possibly go wrong? Yes, President Xi is indeed a very, very happy man.
He is pushing green energy because of the deals his family made with our c.c.p. Buddy’s to make him wealthy. He doesn’t care about our environment or what it cost to dispose of car lithium battery. Which I was told down in southern u.s They are incinerating them so what do you do with a byproduct once you destroy the battery it becomes a hazard to the environment.Not only that the fan blades on the Wind Farms they take up in Montana in a vacant location and bury them in the ground because they can’t recycle them to me that further polluting our environment not renewing a resource. Not including the other hazards from Wind Farms to the wildlife and aquatic animals let alone the solar farms which also caused problems two birds and other animals where are the eco-groups with all the disastrous effects of green energy.

If I were the oil and gas industry I would call a meeting of all executives from every aspect of the energy industry and declare a 30 day moratorium on all energy production in the US. This action would show how vital the energy sector is to this country! It might even crush the leftist and communist Joe’s so called Green agenda that they keep trying to shove down our throats! Arm yourselves!
Many generations have worked hard to make this the greatest country in the world. Biden must stop this War on Fossil Fuels or USA could become one of the poorest countries in the world. Congress & voters must find a way to stop this fast track New Green Deal & now before it is too late.
