Welcome back to American Sunrise. Our friends at AMAC are working to expose more corruption in our government every single day, and that’s why we love them here at American Sunrise. A new report laid out the AMAC Action website explains how COVID era changes to nursing home regulations. So I’m going to ask them.
How it really easy to cheat in elections and hijack the votes of nursing home residents. Oh, great cue the Democrat Party. Let’s bring in a Mac action Senior VP and Andy Mangione, Andy. Great to have you with us as always. So tell us about this report on what stealing the votes of nursing home residents.
I’ve done stories about this granny farming that we hear all about. This is like really Shady stuff. Big time. Shady stuff.
Andy Mangione: It is, it’s insulting and it’s offensive. And the report was put out by one of our great partners in election integrity. It’s an organization called the election research Institute.
And they released a paper that is showing evidence of voter fraud of among the most vulnerable of our population, which are senior citizens. Now, back in 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services, or CMS, instructed nursing homes to interpret a federal rule so staff could assist residents in applying for absentee or mail in ballots or helping them vote.
This rule led to bad actors hijacking the votes of nursing home residents. Now the Biden administration Put the COVID era regulations on steroids when it issued an executive order mandating that every federal agency, including CMS, partner with Biden approved non governmental organizations in a get out the vote efforts because CMS controls the flow of federal dollars to nursing homes to the tune of 100 billion a year.
These nursing facilities had no choice but to comply. Now the Election Research Institute in their report that lays out examples where nursing home residents have been victims of voter fraud schemes ever since this rule change. Here’s a couple of examples and they’re shocking. In one instance in Texas, a social worker was charged with 134 felony counts involving election fraud.
for unlawfully registering, residents in a facility. In another instance, a resident who was labeled, not capable, that was the label. She was not capable upon admission to a nursing home in May of 2020, voted for the very first time, despite being bedridden and unable to speak. These are just a couple of the documented election fraud incidents ever since these rule changes.
Dr. Gina Loudon: I’m so glad AMAC is working on this, Andy. My husband’s been working on this exact thing since when people, when he used to tell people they’d act like he was crazy when he said that they were doing this and, here is proof and I’m so happy AMAC is on it. they’re also working to train poll workers.
So important right now, Andy?
Andy Mangione: Without a doubt, poll observers and election workers play a critical role in the process. And we need as many conservative eyes on this election as possible. Think about it, Dr. Gina, the Democrats can’t run on the issues. So they’re going to focus their efforts on manipulating the administration of the November election in any way they can.
And we need people involved in the process to call them out on their shenanigans. That’s why we’re encouraging our members to vote. And this is posted on our website to go to the Election Assistance Commission website to sign up in their local jurisdictions to undergo training and become poll observers and election workers.
Terrance Bates: All right, Andy. So look, as an official member, as an official mature American citizen now, I received an email the other day talking about this march that AMAC is sponsoring for kids in the nation’s capital. Can you tell me a bit more about that?
