When this legislation becomes law, it will ensure that protecting American benefits for seniors, veterans, and servicemembers is a promise that the federal government can keep.

The Honorable Zach Nunn
3rd Congressional District of Iowa
1232 Longworth House Office Building
Washington, DC 20515
Dear Representative Nunn,
On behalf of the two million members of AMAC, the Association of Mature American Citizens, including over 7,400 members in IA-03, I am pleased to convey our support for the Protecting American Benefits Act.
The federal government made a promise to our senior Americans, our disabled veterans, and our active
military. This promise is realized in the form of payments for Social Security and Medicare, that our senior
Americans paid into for most of their working lives; in the form of compensation to our disabled veterans and their families for their personal sacrifice in service to us; and pay for our active duty military members who should never have to worry about financial solvency when their primary purpose is to support and defend our Constitution, our nation, and our way of life.
When your legislation becomes law, it will ensure that protecting American benefits is a promise that the
federal government can keep.
AMAC thanks you, Representative Nunn, for your efforts to mitigate financial hardships for our seniors, our veterans, and our servicemembers by advancing the Protecting American Benefits Act.
Sincerely,
Bob Carlstrom
President
